We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the Speedway and lots of great local restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet, so we didn’t have to worry about traffic noise or loud neighbors. One of the highlights was the secure backyard, which was ideal for our little pup. The home had all the kitchen basics we needed, and there were plenty of towels available. The layout worked really well for our family, and the large dining room table gave us lots of space to gather and enjoy meals together. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this airBNB. It was private, quiet at night despite some neighbors being close by. The house is better than the photos! It was perfect for our group getaway with the games downstairs in the basement. we explored local wineries nearby. would recommend this home! Next time we come back to the area we will try to stay here again! Lisa is a very responsive and helpful host.

Excellent stay at RivahLife! The views were spectacular and the home was exactly as described. Easy to find with lots of stuff for the kids and adults. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months as the fishing, boating, and swimming would be more desirable. Thanks for the high chair and portable crib. Those things really help when traveling with kids.

Seth was a great host and we loved the place

A lovely and quiet location. The home’s design works very well, with the two bedrooms on separate floors, each with a comfy full bathroom. Wish it was not so cold or we would have used the fine second floor porch.

Kevin’s place felt like home from day 1. We had just sold our home so we were nervous if we were losing out on the amenities and comfort of our own home , but Kevin gave us a great home feel even had the same massage chair I have. When I saw that I knew there was great thought into making sure the guests are relaxed and able to unwind. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is an excellent location for a big family getaway to the lake. We loved the big yard and the deck, as well as the dock area to sit. My kids raved about the comfy beds, and the couches made for good sleep too for teens who love to stay up late and chat. Every cooking utensil or appliance imaginable which made cooking for our crew awesome! Thank you for a relaxing stay.

I booked with Martha last minute and she accommodated me perfectly even though she had another guest coming in the day I was checking out. Lovely home! So cozy with great furnishings and extra special touches to make you feel like you are at home. Easy parking, quiet street, easy access to downtown. Martha had put up Christmas decorations which were such a nice touch. She is very responsive and accommodating. I’ll be staying whenever I’m in town for work! Thank you Martha for hosting!

Great place that was extremely clean. Beautiful hard wood floors throughout. Just know the bathroom is quite small but that's expected in this old yet well updated and maintained home. I loved the fans in each room and appreciated everything we needed for a night stay provided.

Great place! A wonderful weekend spot to get away with your dog!

This was a great place for our family to stay while we were in town. We are a family of 4 kids so it’s nice when all 6 of us have a bed to sleep in. Katie’s place was very clean and welcoming. She was a great host, very good communication and had some nice recommendations for places to eat. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us and the out door patio was a good retreat for some quiet in the evening. If heading to Lynchburg again, we would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay! A most serene and beautiful spot. We love the little apartment, it has everything we need. Vickie and Scott are wonderful hosts! They even had a tiny Christmas tree in the apartment for us! We will be back for a longer stay in the summer.

I stayed for an extended period of time (18 nights). I enjoyed my stay--great location, comfy and clean apartment, good mattress, and such a great patio to enjoy nice days on. Stephen was a great host--very responsive and communicative. There was a bit of an ant situation when I arrived and Stephen made sure I had what I needed to deal with the little buggers. I also really appreciated the off-street parking right at the building! Stephen's directions/videos were super helpful in getting all the information I needed to stay at the apartment. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Neil’s listing was exactly as we expected, just like the write-up and photos. Neil was very accessible and helpful. The guest book provided was also helpful since we were unfamiliar with the area. I would definitely stay at this listing again!

Great spot if you're looking for super walkable with all the necessary amenities for light cooking and nice spaces for hanging out when staying in. Some notes for those lighter or more picky sleepers: mattresses are memory foam bricks (some folks love, some hate), the usual lights and sounds of staying in a city (provided blackout curtains and sound machine much appreciated!), and while upstairs neighbor is perfectly respectful on a noise level, still can hear all footsteps around most active times (M-F 6-7am and 9-10pm). But I realize that those are things that wouldn't bother people more used to city life! Overall, a great stay in a great location.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Perfect for our quick trip to Crozet & Wintergreen Resort. Wonderful location, close to Gas Station/Convenience Store, Wintergreen Lobby, and Slopes. Everything was exactly as expected. Comfortable bed and easy access to streaming services and Wifi. Will definitely consider staying here again for future trips to the area. Thanks so much!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

Lisa's condo was fabulous! It was decorated beautifully and in a very peaceful location. It was great not having to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. If you need anything, she is quick to answer. It was the cleanest dog friendly Airbnb that we have ever stayed in!! We have a hypoallergenic dog so I appreciated not being covered in dog hair. I have stayed with this host several times, she is always so kind and accommodating! The condo was beautiful and perfect for our short trip to participate in a local running event in Colonial Williamsburg. The condo was spotless and had plenty of amenities! Our host was flexible with our check in and out to accommodate our race plans!

Second time here and we will be back. James and crew do a fantastic job with this perfect little retreat. See you next time.
