My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

This is our 5th stay at this property. We love the location and the house is perfect for our family, including 3 young children. The home is comfortable and well appointed, and our host and hostess were very kind and responsive. They checked on us to make sure we were settled in and see if we needed anything. They also brought ice melt after it snowed and spread it on the porch and walkway so we didn’t fall getting to and from our car! Thank you both for a lovely stay, and we look forward to returning soon!

we had a great weekend at Herb's place. We particularly enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Newport and were able to walk to see the St. Patrick's Day parade. I wish the weather was nicer so that we could have enjoyed more of the backyard area.

Very clean, comfortable and well furnished home. Plenty of room. Beautiful three season porch. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described on the website. We especially appreciated that the TV’s were hooked up to cable so we could watch local and national sports (we’re Bruins fans). We would definitely rent again.

This is like the 4th time we have stayed in this house ass we do quite a bit of work in the area. We love this place and this has been and will always be our 1st pick of the area Thank you Ciara for a Fantastic house and for being a wonderful Host

Gina’s place was beautiful! We had a group of 14 & there was plenty of room for sleeping/eating & relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we could need. The outside area was perfect. Big table to eat at & comfortable sitting space. The firepit was nice for the cooler nights. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The house was perfect for a our girls getaway! We had 6 of us for our annual retreat. We all Appreciated the recommendation of the observatory, it was fabulous! The house was very clean, as described, and Heather thought of everything! Plenty of towels, plenty of supplies in the beautiful kitchen, a comfy sofa, and plenty of parking. If there was any little detail little you didn’t think of, Heather did! Heather is an excellent and responsive host! Thank you!!!

Apartment was exactly as described by others. Parking was a breeze, clear instructions (including photos to help guide you to the exact location for parking). The parking spot is very close to the entrance. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a take-away meal. Quiet neighborhood. We'll stay here again.

Elaine’s airbnb was absolutely amazing. It was situated on the second story of their home with a separate, easy access entrance. Upon entering you are treated with a beautifully decorated, well furnished , living room with a large bay window at one end. When you get closer and look out, you are overwhelmed by a spectacular view of the Narragansett Bay. You are so close, if you listen carefully, you can hear the lapping waves. In the morning, the room is filled with the glorious morning sun. The large main bedroom is equally well decorated and has an equally beautiful view of the bay. The smaller second bedroom is fully functional but does not have the view. The apartment had a one fully functional bathroom and a small but updated well equipped kitchen with everything you needed except a dishwasher. No room. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Elaine and Richard and would loved to stay with them again if we return to Wickford.

Everything about our stay was perfect! The space is exactly as described and pictured. The check in instructions were very clear and the covered parking is a major plus. Everything was pristine so we could truly just unpack and relax. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved the space and Sean was great!! Our only negative is the size and comfort of the beds. I knew they would be full size but they were pretty noisy and not so comfortable. Loved that we were able to walk to Amica Arena as our grandson was playing basketball there in NCAA March Madness. We actually had grass in the back yard which was so helpful because my schnauzer is pretty finicky about going on grass! Loved having the huge sectional sofa - my husband and I could both lay down and watch tv. Shower was great - that’s always a big thing with us. Thanks Sean for making our stay a great one - helped that our grandson won their first game too!!

We had a very comfortable relaxed stay! The space was clean and well equipped. The beds were soooo comfortable as was all the living room furniture! Craig was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. We lived the location and made two visits to the close by Big Red slide and walked the beach! So close! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return.

This was a true gem--the best experience I have had in over 15 yrs of using AirBnb! The attic apartment is as cozy as it looks online, tastefully designed with an aesthetic eye, spotlessly clean, and super well-appointed. The space is lovely and quite luxurious. I am very glad I stayed there as a long-term renter. The weather was not too hot or cold when I stayed, but the heating was easy and controllable by room. Knowing I would be needing to cook meals, do laundry, etc., Susan had truly equipped the apartment with everything I might need, including getting a new countertop oven for baking in case I needed it. She and her family were always helpful and had lots of local suggestions of things to do/see/eat, as needed. They live in the building and Susan is super responsive! The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and its easy to get to/from Brown Univ. I felt safe walking home even after dark. I would stay here again, no question, and I hope I have a chance to come back soon!

Great find! Hidden cottage away from the road, with lots of space to sit indoors and outdoors. Master bedroom spacious but missing blinds, make sure to bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in! Enjoyed our stay!

I really liked all the outdoor activities my daughter and I did! Karen let us borrow the games inside the cabinet and they were pretty interesting. There's a lot of beds, and they are all comfortable. I really like the view when we were sleeping on one of the bed because you can see the lake when the sun sets or rises. It's really beautiful and I really liked spending time on the canoe and having this vacation! My family and I loved coming here and hope that we can come again. Booked this place as an end-of-summer get away with friends and family and couldn't have been happier with the place, the location, and the experience. We were nervous about operating the pontoon but a few YouTube videos helped and we figured it out quickly. Our 12 & 13 year old kids were also able to operate it and had so much fun taking us around the lake. We cooked at the house and also tried some local restaurants. Everyone on the lake was helpful and friendly and spoke highly of Giancarlo and Jill. What a great place to relax, play games, bird watch, paddle board, fish, and pontoon. Would definitely love to visit again.

Such a cozy spot!! A warm cabin nestled in the woods with a gorgeous lake, kayaks and canoes, and a waterfront sauna that is absolutely heavenly. Angela was super responsive and kind, and we hope to be back soon!

Jessica’s cabin was perfection. We visited during a sunny fall weekend and spent the whole time outside canoeing, playing croquet, and sitting by the fire-pit. Then we moved inside to hang out by the fireplace inside. It is a lovely, private spot and comes fully equipped with everything you need.

Great place, comfortable, and made for a group gathering for a birthday celebration. Some dishes and the coffee pot needed cleaning - not adequately cleaned by previous guests or cleaning service - not a reflection of Mike the owner who seemed like a stand up guy and was great at communication. We would recommend this location and house to others!
