Snag this place if you can- I've never stayed anywhere better! Gorgeous house, super nice room, clean property, well-stocked bathrooms, plenty of snacks left out, breakfast cooked every morning, and really, a brilliant host who will make time to hang out and chat about anything you want. Seriously, I can't wait to come back to Jakarta to stay here again- Sita's place was a blast! Bit more in-depth: I came to Jakarta for four days to attend a conference right by UNJ (Universitas Negeri Jakarta). The first thing that happened as I stepped off the train was that Sita sent me comprehensive directions to her place and some really helpful advice about local events downtown during the day. Once I made it over, we chatted for a while- she works in law, speaks english like a native, and even knew all about the stuff that I work on in my field- and then she gave me some local food recommendations that proved to be really good. Crackers, bread, and spreads were all left out near my room, she prepared breakfast all three mornings, answered lightning-fast every time I sent a message, and was really interesting to talk to about Indonesian politics and society. Again, the property was excellent and very navigable, physically easy to find (right near an Indomaret), and very close to interesting things nearby, like one of the largest Hindu temples in Jakarta, and Sita, as a host, was nothing short of amazing. Overall, could not recommend this place any more than I do- definitely a real gem that I'm glad I came across.

12 night stays was indeed comfortable. The room were spacious n functional. Great surroudings with few great shopping Malls, especially great selection of restaurans... Will definitely come back... Thanks Jessica.

We really enjoyed our stay at Emillya's place. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, connected to a mall, and just a short 5-minute walk to the MRT, making it super easy to get around. The apartment itself is excellent, with a high-ceiling window offering a great view of the city. It’s well-equipped with everything you might need—smart TV, iron and ironing board, microwave, electric stove, hairdryer, and more. There were a few minor issues with cockroaches initially, but Emillya was quick to help, and we barely saw any after that. One thing to keep in mind is that the building is mixed-use, with offices as well, so the elevators can get a bit busy during the weekdays and you'll share elevators with office workers as well. All in all, it was a great stay, and I’d definitely stay here again if I get the chance.
