Great location!! It was well maintained, very peaceful, and a short drive to downtown Clayton. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is very clean and spacious and worked very well for my husband and I, and a friend. It is in a lovely location. There are pots and pans, and a good supply of dishes. There are no condiments or anything like that, just FYI. Do remember to bring your own towels, although Carol really helped us when we didn't have any.

Enjoyed our stay. Plan to return again and arrive earlier to enjoy more of the amenities. The host was very responsive and proactive. We had 4 adults and 4 children in our group and had plenty of room for everyone.

The house is spacious and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Our family came to see the eclipse and were amazed by the views from the house, of the river, the islands and Boldt Castle. Sunsets were incredible. 4 of the 7 bedrooms have their own baths attached. The beds are firm and linens new and clean. The 4 seater hot tub was clean and ready to go. The house is surrounded on the non river sides by a hotel and marina, but the place is oriented to the river. Once in the house or on one of the multiple decks you wouldn’t know. The hotel next door provided us with any help we needed. There is a kind of charm to how dated the place is. The kitchen is big enough for many cooks and we had fun making meals. That said, we were warned by previous reviews about the two old ranges. They were right. Two of the burners didn’t work and one oven wouldn’t come up to temperature. All in though we had a great time. If we come back to Alex Bay with a big group we will stay here again.

Such a fabulous place to stay. The property is amazing and every cottage has all the amenities of home!

Our family gathered in Watertown to have Thanksgiving with our son who lives there and is stationed at Ft. Drum. We wanted a nice place on the water where the adults could stay and the family could gather for Thanksgiving dinner. Jane's place was nice and cozy for the adults who stayed and enjoyed by all who came for dinner. Jane was responsive to any communications and helpful when we thought our stay may have to be extended due to the threat of 60+ inches of lake effect snow. We were able to check out on time and would love to return when we could truly enjoy the yard, water access, kayaks etc.

Karliee’s spot was perfect for our family visiting someone based on fort drum! The place felt right at home. Easy check in, clean and on a quiet road. The house had everything you could need. We will definitely use this spot again in the future!

We had a great stay. comfortable beds, amazing showers, well furnished. everything is like brand new Great view of the River. We had everything we needed. We will be back!!

Was a very comfortable place to stay. Felt like we were right at home. Was very clean and safe area. Kid friendly. The BnB had items for us to use if we forgot anything at home, like toothbrushes, deodorant and among other various items. Nice Tim Hortons coffee. Vincent was very nice and accommodating. Will be staying again soon since my family is from Canada and I’m from Long Island.

my mom and I made a trip up from pennsylvania to visit my boyfriend who is stationed at Fort Drum. Lisa and Jeff were very flexible with our check in and check out times. They were also very helpful with everything that we had questions with and they were also always readily available . Lisa and Jeff’s place really felt like home and we will definitely be back!!

Second time we have stayed here. Both were fantastic! Beautiful home, plenty of space, calm and relaxing setting.

Shawn was great at communicating. the place is just as described.And was perfect for me and my team to stay at for a local event. the rate is amazing for what you get.

Everything was very beautiful and clean. We were out on the water most of the time, but the place showed as the pictures when we got there. Great location.

Lauren was an absolute amazing host! Cannot say enough! The day of check-in was the day the remnants of a hurricane came through and there was flooding throughout the town. Lauren was right there to help guide us to the home. She called to make sure we were okay when the town put out a no travel order due to roads being flooded. She even walked through 3 feet of water to bring us food since our main road was flooded!! Honestly she went above and beyond as a host! Just shows she is a great human! Even with being stuck with the flooding we still had such a great time! Had to take it one day at a time. The home was absolutely amazing and just so peaceful and private. It’s absolutely beautiful where the home is. Definitely recommend! Thank you Lauren!

Christina's cottage was a great place to relax and unwind with my friends. Seriously, we didn't want to leave. The house is clean, uncluttered, and perfectly decorated. The fully stocked kitchen and comfortable living room made our stay extra enjoyable. Christina has thought of everything that a traveler may need... snacks, games, toiletries, beach towels.. you name it. The back deck gave us a front row seat for the sunset, so nice! She was very responsive to anything we needed. Great house, great host. Thank you.

Our recent stay was incredibly comfortable & exceeded our expectations! The place was clean and felt like a home away from home. The games in the basement were a highlight- I played ping pong for the first time! The karaoke machine kept us entertained for hours, and the large TV was perfect for movie nights. This stay definitely had everything we needed, and we will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend Melissa and Brian's house to anyone looking for a clean, fun, and relaxing getaway!

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

Great host, great view and very kind. I would recommend to anyone. May book again in the near future!

We had an amazing stay at Sean’s place. The host was fast to respond and very helpful. The location was beautiful and we loved being able to have a fire or two while we were there. The house was perfect and everything was very clean! I would definitely stay here again!!
