Shawn is a phenomenal host. The place was impeccable. Fresh flowers, beautiful decor, ice cream/gelato in the freezer, espresso cued up... check-in and check-out were a breeze. Recommendations for eating out were provided and both he and his wife were accessible throughout out the stay. Not only will we go back but we will also explore the many options that Shawn offers with AIRBNB - especially the farm. If you in the area, you need to at least visit the farm. Thank you Shawn. It was an awesome stay. I look forward to our next one.

We had a fantastic experience! We were exhausted from a road trip with our two dogs and Kevin’s place was such a welcome respite. Everything was very clean and we loved the amenities. The shower was large and comfy and the chargers by the bed were great! The bed (we only used the one on the front side of the house) was comfortable and the pillows were great! The ONLY thing that could improve Kevin’s space is some cozy area rugs as the whole place is hard flooring and it was below freezing when we stayed. Thank you Kevin!

My daughter and I stayed here for only a few short hours as we drove from AR to NC. We arrived around 1am and left by 8am. It was so comfortable and exactly what we needed after stressful, stormy drive. Also I highly recommend Knead Donuts! They had some amazing, delicious creations.

The place was lovely and was very comfortable. Easy to find and just far enough out of town to avoid the crowds that can come with the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area. Very roomy and bed was comfortable but a bit small with it being a full size bed. Had everything we needed and easy parking. Only drawback we had and this is the first time ever was that the cleaning crew was extremely late and did not arrive until well after our check-in time (which we weren't aware of until arrival). They took about an hour to get it cleaned up. These things happen, I am sure. But the host or rather their hosting service (I believe) was non-responsive when we reached out to find out what was going on. We only received automated arrival and departure communications. Never got a call/message regarding the issue we had with cleaning. Ultimately it worked out just fine and we had a great stay.

Amazing place ! Super spacious! Very nice and peaceful surroundings. Each room on the second story has its own personal balcony ! The place is so amazing we rented it for another month !

My family had a fantastic experience staying at The Great Escape. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area and get around. Michaela was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating, ensuring that everything was set up for a comfortable stay. The home was equipped with several thoughtful amenities that made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

This was our second stay here and we all enjoyed it very much. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you could need for a short or long stay. We hope to visit again in the future! Thank you!

Perfect if you don’t want the hotel or resort vibe nor the price. Was just off the main drag so was easy getting to and from before hitting the traffic closer to the towns. Farthest part of Gatlinburg was only 25 minutes away maybe. Quiet minus the helicopter rides but those stopped at 8 PM and then it was peace and quiet. But really they hardly made a difference inside the home. Really you’ll forget they exist. Others complained of no salt, pepper, or even toilet paper. All that was there as well as coffee. Minus the creamer but there are plenty of grocery stores around to get that and food. Great having a washer and dryer right there to minimize packing. Was a little bummed the hot tub wasn’t available but it wasn’t anything worth giving this a horrible review in any way. Honestly it was like house sitting for your grandparents but there’s no food cause they eat out all the time and collect antiques! Would definitely stay again!!

Stayed here for a weekend disc golf get away. Was a perfect location for the area and Jason was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended

Loved our stay here! Easy to find, far enough out to be away from hustle & bustle, yet still close to conveniences. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and when I discovered one small issue, they resolved it quickly and efficiently. Thank you for the lovely place to stay!

This was such a great place to stay for my family and I! It was clean and quiet and so close to everything! Matt had great recommendations as well! Would recommend this for everyone traveling to the area!

The place was just as described. Very conveniently located, close to everything. Check in was easy and we were able to check in early. Everything was neat and clean and even the neighbors were very nice. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay. Centrally located to lots of great restaurants, attractions and grocery stores. Loved sitting out back listening to the birds and the creek below. Very private and peaceful. Super clean with lots of extra nice touches. Check out Anakeesta, beautiful park and incredible Mountain views.

Great stay for the price. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the river and geese, and fishing in the river. The place was as described. Parking was better than expected. Chuck was very responsive when I had a question. The only thing bad was the horrible smell of Indian food (curry or whatever they cook with). Our neighbors must have been Indian and cooked all the time. That smell is just so strong and doesn’t go away! There is absolutely nothing wrong with Chuck’s place. We are local and go to Gatlinburg quite frequent. I will definitely book here again.

We booked this place for the weekend to see Gatlinburg and it was WORTH IT! We had such a great time. Located just a 10 minute walk from downtown and all the fun. The place was clean and well kept, felt like I was staying at a proper hotel. What we really loved about the place was the hot tub (no surprise)…just what one needs after walking 12 hours (literally) exploring downtown. There are stairs at the back of the building that are a shortcut to downtown (just be careful of the bees, we had to make a run for it every single time) All in all, this place was worth the money, enjoyed relaxing here as much as we enjoyed every bit of Gatlinburg!

We loved the place. Beautiful views and just perfect for our stay. Everything was clean comfortable and loved the decor! The higher the hair with Smokie Times was awesome to deal with and I loved all the reminders and info they sent to us. Can’t wait for next time.

Easy process, great location near everything, and lovely, large space. Fit our family of 4 perfectly. Would definitely stay again!

The condo was great for our little getaway. My kids loved that the bunk beds were tucked away in the wall. Everything was clean. I love the shower in the master bath. I told my husband he needs to renovate our bathroom at home now
