We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

Great home for a family of all ages to get together-lots of amenities, quiet location, close to lots of attractions. Home was very clean and in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. Host was very proactive and provided great (and accurate) details about the property.

Our recent stay at Guy and Sarah’s Airbnb in Harper’s Ferry was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the house were immediately apparent. The Scandinavian design of the home added a sense of peace and calm that made our stay exceptionally relaxing. As a family of five, we thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, making meal preparations convenient and an absolute pleasure. The cozy rooms, accentuated by the tranquil interior design, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. One unexpected gem was the extensive book collection. I discovered several titles that captured my interest so much that I plan to purchase them for my collection. Guy and Sarah were incredibly responsive and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience with their attentiveness. We wish our visit could have been longer, but we are already planning our return. Next time, we hope to share this excellent find with another set of friends.

Great, centrally located Airbnb! Very comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Space is set up in a way that offers privacy for people traveling as a group. We loved the covered deck! We will stay again the next time we are in the area.

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

The house was beautiful. It was very clean and tastefully updated. We had everything we needed and more. The beds and furniture were very comfortable too. The outdoor space was spectacular. Hot tub, fire pit, hammocks and plenty of seating to look and enjoy the gorgeous views of the winery. This was the perfect house for us!

My husband, dog, and I had a great time! We stayed for two nights on the weekend. The place is definitely not easy to find on your own but Tara gave great instructions! We did have a truck, so it was easier to navigate up the hill in the snow, but for others, I would keep that in mind. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you'd want, a hot pot stove, coffee machine, coffee, and a toaster oven. And the bed was really comfortable. 12 minute drive into Harper's Ferry, and walking distance to the closest C&O trail. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful place to relax and unwind. Huge yard to enjoy many yard games and large fire pit area. This was our second time staying here and its for a good reason. The house is great with many levels and deck space. Our favorite part is the floating deck on the water. We enjoyed fishing, getting our feet wet and tubing.

This was not our first time staying here. Our host, Judy, is friendly, responsive, and just overall nice. We will be staying here again.

Cindy’s garage apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with all of the snacks and basics we could need. There’s even a dog washing station in the garage, and an electric car charger should you need. She provides a $25 gift certificate each night stayed to a local vineyard, brewery to restaurant, and there are many to choose from just a short 5-10 minute drive from the Airbnb! It was peak foliage when we went, and we had dinner at Magnolias at the Mill. We also checked out Bluemont Station Winery & Brewery, Bluemont Vineyard, Great Country Farms, Dirt Farm Brewing, and More Better (highly recommend!). All of these places were beautiful, dog-friendly and a short drive! If you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in, bring an eye mask as there is a large skylight right over the bed!

We had a really nice stay at Cindy’s Airbnb! Beds and linens were very comfortable, everything was super clean, and we had plenty of space. Lovely space!

Being smack on mainstreet yet setback on a second-floor level gives the benefits of both. The lower level is a small professional office that was empty overnight, so no worries on walking about, playing television etc. We were there during a hot spell, and remained comfortable although the poor window AC struggled…with a fair amount of noise. (Brought to host’s attention). No smell of smoke which others have noted. Enjoyed the Keureg coffee provided.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

We had the best time at our stay! It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Exactly what we needed for our trip! We especially enjoyed the chickens and Dasher the dog😃 And the honey is delicious too! Highly recommend. Thank you very much for the hospitality! Jeromy + Gabrielle Bryk

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and towels, soap, etc nicely laid out. We used the kayak on the river, and there was even life jackets available. Was close to city and restaurants. Would stay here again.

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was peaceful, cozy, and very clean. The amenities were fantastic—we especially enjoyed the hot tub and the deck area with the fire pit. The location was perfect, close to downtown and the wineries, making it easy to explore. Harry was a wonderful host—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and are already looking forward to staying again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this well stocked house - it had everything we wanted for a long weekend in the mountains with kids. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, space for the kids to play downstairs with toys available, a beautiful bright kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. Alexandra provided great instructions to make us feel at home, and everything was clean. Getting up to the house we encountered winding and hilly roads, which of course makes sense for the location, but was something we should have thought about more when traveling with small kids. It was worth the ride, however, to be in such a cozy house with beautiful views.

Lots of amenities to entertain, incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy bed. Loved the theater room and hot tub. Lacked for nothing and would stay again without hesitation!

We rented Deer Chase as we were attending a wedding at The View at Bluemont. I was taking care of the flowers so needed the space to create. It was perfect! And quiet. We didn't have time to use the firepit, but it was so cute when the lights came on when it was dark. The only issue we had was trying to figure out how to get any shows or NCAA games on the TV. We have cable at home so figuring out how to access channels using any other platform is impossible for us spoiled cable users. But we managed without and had a better time without TV. Won't hesitate to recommend Deer Chase or rent it again for ourselves. Thanks Jeanne for being so responsive the entire time!
