Went on a trip with our family after many years and was so glad to choose this place as our getaway — we loved the home and can’t wait to get back. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, their home was comfortable for all ages.

This AirBnb was recommended by a friend, and it was not a disappointment! Anyone with kids looking for a R&R vacation, this is the best spot! To have the whole house and all the amenities to yourself is wonderful! The pool, movie theater, games, full kitchen, master suite, multiple bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, dining room, and especially the laundry room is great! Judy responded very quickly and was always polite! The house and the pool was very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and dishes which is a huge bonus. We would definitely come back, and we would definitely recommend! Beautiful home and wonderful stay!

Perfect location for a women’s wellness retreat! The ladies are already asking when we can come back. Plenty of spaces big and small to facilitate us, both as a group as well as individuals looking to relax and recharge. Having two kitchens was nice for feeding such a big group, and the heated saltwater pool was the cherry on top!

Nicole's place is simply one of the best, if not, the best place we've stayed thus far. It felt truly like home away from home and in some ways, better than home. We had a party of 8 registered to stay and the place was large enough and varied enough to provide rooms and spaces where we didn't have to be on top of one another. The amenities were amazing to have access to, although, with our short time there for a wedding and inclement weather we were not able to take full advantage of. Nicole was communicative, and patient, and generous. We hope to revisit the area some day when we have more time and if so, we hope Nicole's place will be an option for us. It will be the first place we look!

MJ is an organized, thoughtful and responsive host! Ski Ya Later felt pretty luxurious, kind of like a boutique hotel. The master bed mattress has a premium foam mattress and was very comfortable. Having a morning coffee in the sunroom with the electric fireplace was a real treat. The highlight was being able to walk right onto Whitetail! Would love to stay her again!

House was perfect for a large group and very clean when we arrived. There were all the necessary pans, pots, silverware, etc. for cooking for meals in the house. The host (Amber) was quick to communicate and adjust to audibles/questions from our end. Great stay for a large group. Would highly recommend.

Absolute peaceful oasis. This home gives you every essence of Virginia Wine Country. The home was quaint and the deer came up every morning to greet us. I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open! Thanks again

We had a wonderful stay at April’s Airbnb! My husband, two sisters, brother-in-law, and I stayed here, and it was perfect size for our group. My sister also brought her dog, who absolutely loved the big backyard! The home was very comfortable and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax after our daily adventures. The location was great—just a short drive to Shepherdstown, Charles Town, Antietam, and Harpers Ferry, with Gettysburg only about an hour away. It was the ideal spot for exploring the area! April was a fantastic host—very responsive, checking in to make sure everything was going well, and offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We also really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches, like extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair care items, and TV's in all the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

Our recent stay at Guy and Sarah’s Airbnb in Harper’s Ferry was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the house were immediately apparent. The Scandinavian design of the home added a sense of peace and calm that made our stay exceptionally relaxing. As a family of five, we thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, making meal preparations convenient and an absolute pleasure. The cozy rooms, accentuated by the tranquil interior design, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. One unexpected gem was the extensive book collection. I discovered several titles that captured my interest so much that I plan to purchase them for my collection. Guy and Sarah were incredibly responsive and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience with their attentiveness. We wish our visit could have been longer, but we are already planning our return. Next time, we hope to share this excellent find with another set of friends.

This was a great house! It was clean and clutter-free, lots of comfortable sleeping and gathering spaces (both inside and out), well-stocked kitchen, bathrooms, and entertainment (games for adults and kids and a fire table). Instructions for use of the house were very thorough and easy to follow and with a 1pm checkout, we didn't feel rushed. The view from the back of the house is beautiful and while there are many other houses nearby, the neighborhood was very quiet. I would just point out if you're not familiar with the area, it isn't walkable to any businesses and the roads are very narrow, windy, and hilly. It wasn't a problem for our stay, just want others to be aware! Thanks for a beautiful, relaxing mountain retreat!

Just suggest adding a tv to the one bedroom Other than that the plsce was amazing! Loved the layout.

My friend and I had a wonderful weekend at the Cozy Place. We felt at home from the moment we entered and were so pleased to find the cottage was roomier than it looked in the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great breakfast, and would certainly work for more cooking with a longer stay. The bed was one of the best my friend has slept on, and I slept very well on the comfortable sofa bed. It was great to see local artists' work on the walls and pictures of the area. Rosa has provided lots of resources for local activities, and books about the area's history as well. We highly recommend Rosa's place and hope to stay again!

We stayed here as a girls weekend pre-wedding. Michelle was a fantastic host, very responsive! The house has stunning views and was just like the photos. Its close to wineries and hiking, and sitting in the hot tub looking over the river was so calming!

We had an AMAZING stay at Becky’s River oasis. We were lucky to stay during a weekend when snow was on the ground and it was a beautiful & serene respite from the world. But it would be beautiful at any time of year! A group of friends gathered here and we spent hours lounging in the living room, laughing, and playing games. The house creates the perfect, comfortable vibe. You feel right at home. The wood burning stove was toasty and so cozy! Everything is comfy & clean. I couldn’t imagine a better place for our weekend trip. Becky is easily one of the nicest hosts I’ve event interacted with. She was kind, helpful, and so wonderful throughout the process. She’s amazing!

We extended our stay…and Stacey (our host) was just as wonderful at “refreshing” the property as the day of our initial arrival. We appreciate that she is super conscientious about the care and customer service she provides for her guests.

Very cool old house in a peaceful area. House was well equipped with anything you would need as well as well stocked for the pellet fire. Brenda was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions.

Loved the French roast coffee, exceptional shower head, great location, quite with a park across the street. Very clean , and welcoming, we would definitely stay there again!

Donna’s place was perfect for our Thanksgiving get together for our family. It looks just like the photos with lots of space for 6 of us to be comfortable. Minutes from Harper’s Ferry, which was interesting and fun to explore. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family time. Thank you for our best Airbnb experience.

My family and I had a great time staying at Shepherds rest! The house itself is super cute and had everything we needed for a few days stay. We were able to cook a few nights during our time there which was great. The home is located just outside of Shepherdstown, so it was private but also close to all the action. John was a responsive and kind host who was accomodating to a special request of ours which meant a lot. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Ryan was a wonderful host. He sent helpful, detailed instructions before we left for our trip. He checked on us to see if everything was okay, which it was. We felt welcome. We liked that everything was clean and the house was well stocked with everything from enough towels & blankets to coffee, tea and filtered water in the refrigerator. We loved staying here!
