I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I can confidently say it was one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve had! The highlight of the stay was definitely the arcade—filled with a fantastic selection of games that kept us entertained for hours. Whether you’re into classic games or modern favorites, there was something for everyone. The home itself was spotless, well-designed, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing clear instructions and quick responses to any questions we had. The location was also perfect, close to local attractions but with enough privacy to relax and enjoy our time. If you’re looking for a stay that combines nostalgia, entertainment, and comfort, this is the place for you. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun getaway!

If a one-bedroom, one-bath dwelling will suit you, as it did me, I can't imagine a better choice. Truly spacious, comfortably furnished, and in an incredible location--on a lovely quiet street yet a minute's walk from Magazine St. with its upscale shops, great restaurants, and a Whole Foods; a mile from Audubon Park and all it has to offer; and only a couple blocks from Octavia Books, one of the best independent bookstores I've ever been in. And Julia is a great host.

Great stay! This location was absolutely perfect for our three nights stay in NOLA. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It was easy to walk to nearby eateries.

The best hosts ever ! If i could give 10 stars i would. Location was Excellent !! Home was super clean and spacious actually exceeded the expectations i had. My hosts always responded right away i never had to wait for them to get back with me. Bed was SO cozy be careful there lol. You might be stuck there for a while. Games were already in home for us. Safety 10/10. I never felt out of place it was like we lived there for the weekend. Thank you so so much for having us and allowing us to enjoy NOLA 🫶🏾 whenever i come to New Orleans I'll def be staying again. 100/10.

We stayed at this lovely home for a family Thanksgiving get-together. This home was perfect for our family. We know New Orleans well, and we appreciated the quiet location that is still central to most New Orleans attractions. The best thing about this house is the owners, Phil and Lydia. There were some issues during our stay. A shower head needed repair and a workman had turned the gas supply to the range off. Phil and Lydia were remarkably quick to reply and to get these problems taken care of quickly. They usually answered within minutes when we messaged them through Airbnb. The outdoor and pool area is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped. We love the mid-century interior-so much character! Overall this is a beautiful home and a very good choice for anyone spending time in New Orleans.

You all provided a clean, hospitable house with a great location

The house was exactly as described. It was in a quiet neighborhood in Mid City with a mix of other Airbnbs and neighbors. About 15 min from the Quarter, there was a trolley stop close by. There were some good local eateries around the neighborhood as well. We had a minor issue that required repair and Gabriella had a person out to fix the issue that same evening. We felt comfortable leaving our car parked in the gated driveway with both an automatic gate and pedestrian gate access.

The house was much larger than I realized it would be. It was gorgeous and I absolutely loved the master bathroom! There's a wonderful front porch and back porch. And my dogs loved that the backyard was fenced in. The neighbor directly behind the house is super nice and I enjoyed talking to him and meeting his 2 dogs. The neighbor was quiet and very safe, and it was so easy to get all around town from there.

We loved this gem! Perfectly positioned in a neighborhood with bakeries, bookstores, bars available to wander to yet quiet and calm. The bikes were an essential part of our New Orleans excursions (and thanks for the helmets!). Lucia and Folwell were so responsive to our needs. What a treat

We had a great stay! Check in was easy. Chairs and umbrellas provided for parade and outdoor activities. Extra hygiene items were conveniently in the bathroom. The kitchen had all we needed as well. The home was tidy, and decorated lovely! Oh! And the street lamps are real gas lamps! So cool. Bedrooms on each level were nice so my in-laws were able to stay on the first with out having to worry about the stairs. The location was perfect to watch parades off of St. Charles. Even with the convenient proximity, it was very quiet in the house after 10. There are several restaurants and bars within five or so blocks. Things to be aware of (that were NOT dealbreakers at ALL). The walls are thin. If your neighbors are loud, you will hear them. When the outside temp is cold, the first and second floor indoor temps vary wildly. Our host kindly informed us ahead of time so we could adjust. St. Charles trolley cannot run during “Uptown” parades. (Get parade, transit and parking apps ahead!)

Great space, good location. Exactly as shown in the pictures. It was an enjoyable stay. The team was very responsive and accommodating. The only improvement is the WiFi - it is very bad. If we had a $1 for every time the TV froze, or our laptops disconnected from the WiFi, we probably could have paid for our stay. If you plan on working remotely like we were, I would probably recommend finding another place to stay. If WiFi is not a concern, then you will greatly enjoy staying here!

Lovely location in a scenic area right by the St. Charles streetcar. Very walkable to nearby restaurants, shops, etc., while getting to see all the Garden District mansions. Sweet balcony with an oak tree right in front. Would highly recommend. Great way to spend our q year wedding anniversary.

Stephen was great. Clean home in a great area right next to the airport. Highly recommend for anyone staying near New Orleans

Nice place close to uptown

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying at Ian's place when we were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. We loved how easy it was to walk to Canal Street for the big Endymion parade on the Saturday of Mardi Gras weekend. We were also easy walking distance (about 1 block) from a yummy restaurant where we had a nice breakfast. There is a grocery store incredibly close as well, which came in handy to stock the fully-equipped kitchen so that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. Ian gave us a lot of great information in advance so we better understood the parade situation and how to best enjoy it. He also furnished the rental with folding chairs for our use during the parade, and sunscreen, too! The house itself was very nice and spacious. We actually hung out there more than we expected to. It was nice to have a comfortable place away from the chaos of the French Quarter area, and we even did some laundry with the full washer and dryer provided.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s place. It was clean and cozy, and Michelle went out of their way to correct a booking issue that I made. The apartment is conveniently located and very spacious. Highly recommend!

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Marcus was incredibly responsive and helpful, he sent us a list of things to do in the area and had a lot of recommendations. The space was clean and quite large, we had plenty of room. The bathroom had plenty of towels and soap/shampoo, etc. Overall the place felt quite homey!

Just wanted to share our fantastic experience at the ARBB we stayed at. We absolutely loved the pool and the charming units. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Wilson, who went out of his way to take care of us during our stay. Check-in and checkout were smooth and hassle-free. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance to just about anything. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Michael was a very responsive host. He answered every question. Maintenance was frequently on property. Other guest in compound were friendly. Courtyard was so relaxing and beautiful. One Uber driver complimented the neighborhood as hugely improved, safe and popular. Thanks for a lovely stay in NOLA.

My friends and I had a fantastic time and were comfortable at The Chateau. Prior to our arrival, Michael was very responsive to questions. At the time of arrival, Wilson was extremely helpful and friendly. Other folks working at The Chateau were lovely and warm. It's a great location, allowing us to walk to almost every destination we hoped to visit. The outdoor space was so comfortable, and other guests were respectful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will definitely consider The Chateau for future visits to New Orleans!

Excellent place to stay and within walking distance of much of the French Quarter. We had a group of 10 staying here comfortably! Would highly recommend to any group!

Had a fabulous family Christmas vacation at this Airbnb! Wilson was the on site property manager/concierge and he was accessible, responsive, friendly and communicated wonderfully to any concerns we had. Bathrooms and kitchen were well done. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable with good bedding. Fun to stay in a famous chef’s previous home. Courtyard was wonderful - we spent a lot of time out there. Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub was unavailable from our first day through our second to last day. That was a top amenity priority for me in choosing this property. Wilson, was diligent in getting it fixed and communicating about the status, however. I would certainly return here for future visits to New Orleans!
