What a wonderful stay we had! Such a clean cozy place, our family felt right at home! We were visiting Louisville for a volleyball tournament so after a long day coming home to such comfort was exactly what we needed! The playground in the backyard was an added bonus for our kids so they could go outside and play! The host provided so many snacks which was a great bonus with 4 kids! It was raining, so we weren't able to have a S'mores fire in the backyard but we allowed our kids to enjoy the provided treats anyways! Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful view, very peaceful, and not far from lots of stores, restaurants and fun activities. Plenty of space for our group of 9 people with very comfortable beds. We will definitely consider coming back in the future!

Maximum privacy near fabulous Louisville! My partner and our dog and I loved the whole home with fenced in yard. The home was EXCELLENTLY appointed- think similar quality kitchen items, linens, pillows, mattresses etc that you would buy for your OWN home. Fantastic. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful via message. Don’t miss this great spot!

We loved staying here for our wedding weekend with our puppies! Check-in was super easy and Alberto was very quick to respond and flexible. He even checked in with us about local weather alerts if we needed. We would love to come back and stay with our dogs again when we visit in the future! Very close to Bardstown road but still pretty quiet.

This was our second stay at John’s home and, again, we were very pleased to be able to stay here again while visiting family in Louisville. John was very responsive when needed and worked with us through our travels woes with our next destination. John is a most gracious and excellent host and the home is just as amazing. Thank you, John!

Was a lovely home and I definitely enjoyed my stay. Excellent communication between host and instructions were very easy to understand would definitely recommend booking with them and I'll definitely book there again someday!

We had an enjoyable stay at Kara’s Airbnb. The house is very nicely decorated, clean and convenient for our purposes. Several nearby restaurant options. We attended an event at the Kentucky Expo Center and Fairgrounds and it was an easy 10-15 minute drive each day. Also a quick easy drive to downtown and KFC YUM center. Street parking outside the house was easy and available each day.

Michelle was extremely responsive. We did not have any problems at all. The place looked just like the pictures. The location was perfect. Extremely close to downtown Louisville with lots to do but was also in a peaceful and quiet location.

We loved this place! It was clean and quiet. The rooftop was really nice and the clubhouse was cool! We definitely stay here again! Ashlee is wonderful!!

Really don’t know how to rate the place since we didn’t get to stay Host was nice we just needed more room and the older adult that was with us couldn’t use the stairs. And a picture of a sofa gave us hope that he don’t have to use the stairs. But no living room area with sofa. Hope we can try and stay when we have less people needing to stay

The place was fantastic. Icing on the cake was Dajuan had a bottle of red wine to welcome us. What a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you Dajuan!

We had a great time at Ann & Wes’s place. If we ever come back to Louisville I know where we will stay. Parking was easy. Walked to Kroger, Ehrler's ice cream, Eat a Pita, Havana Rumba and Hi-five doughnuts! Kitchen was well stocked. Even had coffee and bagels for us. Bathroom had plenty of toilet paper, body wash, shampoo and conditioner! Flash lights in every room which was helpful since a storm came through. Kids love everything about it!

Stayed here while attending a friends wedding in the area and it was exactly the kind of place we needed for the weekend. Super nice place and a great location!

Very easy to find, close to the event we were in town for, quiet area, and felt safe during the severe weather that occurred during our stay. Just wish we could’ve had better weather to get to enjoy more of the outdoor space!

The Captains’ Cabin is a cozy and comfortable place to escape one’s routine. Our hosts provided an unexpected welcome tray and had the fireplace ready to light. An amazing, historic home beautifully redone.

This was a beautiful cabin to stay at for the weekend for my friend’s birthday. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! I would definitely come back here. There were 8 of us and not a single person had a complaint :)

So pleased with our stay for my mother’s birthday weekend getaway! There were 6-8 of us and we all felt as if there was plenty of space to get away from the others if need be. The extra beds upstairs were so great! The master bedroom was phenomenal! The huge windows and step down sitting area made it feel massive! Everything felt extremely clean as well! The kitchen also had lots of modern appliances and modern cookware. The cabin is gorgeous and in a beautiful peaceful surrounding with lots of parking! Also the outside area is great for barbecuing or using the fire pit area. It had everything our group needed. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

This AirBnB has lots of charm and character, and Aaron went the extra mile to make sure lots of little amenities made our stay very special. The Writer’s Den is a quaint little cabin nestled on a wooded hillside that feels so remote that it’s nearly impossible to believe how close it is to the city of Louisville. If you’re looking for a place that feels private and natural, but that’s close enough to the city to easily take advantage of what’s present there, this would be a great place for you. The cabin is cozy and creatively furnished and decorated. The kitchen had an assortment of teas, plenty of coffee, some staples to get a meal started or use as a side if necessary, various sauces, and a really well-stocked spice rack. The downstairs bed is really comfy with nice linens. The setting is lovely - on our last morning there I saw 7 deer go by! All in all, this is a little gem with an owner who communicates very well. I highly recommen it!
