We had the best time! The view is gorgeous and it’s so peaceful and quiet! The little town had everything you need, and there’s great hiking trails only about 30-40 minutes away. Highly recommend! We will be back!

John’s property was at the top of the hill overlooking the surrounding mountains, so the scenery was gorgeous. I arrived, while it snowed for about a week so it was beautiful to see that scenery during the snowy weather. John was nice enough to salt the driveway, walkway and porch. The inside of the home had an old school feel, with the wood cabin interior design, and the modernized kitchen appliances. The rooms upstairs have their own ac/heater which was great to be able to sleep in a condition that suited your needs. The game-room made for an eventful way to enjoy your evenings playing darts or pool. The garage was big enough to fit my lifted truck and another car with ample parking spaces in the driveway for other vehicles. I recommended anyone working in the area or looking for a relaxing getaway to choose Johns’s property!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Allyson’s place. We went to a NASCAR race at Bristol Speedway and it was the perfect location. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Will be recommending this airbnb over and over again!

Had the best time here. Eva and her husband, and her dogs, are all so sweet. Beautiful and peaceful getaway, and a trail a mile away!

If your like me and you go to historic homes on tour and you have a secret desire to live there, than this home is for you. To have the opportunity to actually sleep in a 1700s home complete with antique furnishings was such a wonderful opportunity. Definitely recommend reading through the history of the house and taking time to peruse the many interesting things in the home. I’m sure there are more comfortable/luxurious places to stay but as an experience and a stay all rolled into one this was a great one.

The location was perfect for our stay during our yearly mission trip to Cawood and the Harlan area. Travis was a above average host and went beyond all expectations to make us feel welcome. The house was gorgeous and very large. Our group really enjoyed the game/rec area and played several close matches on the ping pong table. If you are visiting the Harlan area make this your place to stay you won’t be disappointed. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was squeaky clean.

This cabin was used for a writing retreat for myself & a couple of friends. The space was IDEAL! Big kitchen table. So many cute spots to take a comfy seat. The whole cabin was clean, very well-prepared for every possible "shit I forgot to bring XYZ" realization, and it was totally decorated for the holidays, too, which was a lovely addition. Usually, renting a 'cabin' means some kind of cobweb-rustic situation, but this place was so clean. I loved it!! Also, Vickie left us delicious homemade bread and jam and we could not stop eating it or talking about it.

Nice, clean place with everything you need for your stay and close enough for our wants and needs!!!! Jim answered all questions in a very timely manner and always checking in to see if he could help or make our stay better !!!
