We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Liz's house. She has been very kind and really helped us enjoy our stay at her place. House was clean, communication fluent and the garden is amazing. Our kids loved playing the toys in the house

Had a great stay at the Stables. It was an ideal location for a family get together over Mother’s Day weekend. Caroline was very helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great weekend

An enjoyable escape from city life! Total escapism with some lovely local pubs and a reasonable drive to some beautiful towns. It was my partners birthday and our hosts hung happy birthday bunting which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed utilising the hot tub and looking out to that beautiful view!

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week, great for the family. Perfect location to get around the Cotswolds and the hot tub was a real hit with my kids. Thank you again, we will be back!

What a lovely weekend we have just had here. Super instructions made everything a breeze. Location and accommodation was fab. Hot tub was lush and the proximity to Woodstock shops / pubs and Blenheim made this place perfect for us. Slightly quirky layout (low ceilings / beams etc) but full of character. Topped off with gorgeous handwash / hand cream and reed diffusers in every bathroom and a lovely bottle of fizz to welcome us to the house. We would love to return!

What a joy! Anna and I were here for her birthday week and we enjoyed everything from the welcome drink and chocolates to the ludicrously clean property, hot tub and close off road parking, warm feel and close proximity to Chipping Norton. All kitchen requirements on hand, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher with required cleaning materials. Hosts available but not intrusive. Did I mention the wonderful log burner? Altogether a first class place to stay whether just a couple or plus 2. We should've taken Lilly the Cat! Highly recommended, thank you. Would we stay again? Ohhhh, YES!.

Maggie's place was a beautiful home base to explore Oxford from. Her home was immaculate and so gorgeous - we were sad to leave! Thanks for an excellent stay x

Eine Übernachtung auf dem Hausboot ist schon etwas sehr besonderes und Alan hat uns sehr freundlich und kompetent empfangen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und Alan hatte für uns den kleinen Holzofen angefeuert, sodass wir es von Anfang an gemütlich und warm hatten. Die Nähe zum Zentrum von Oxford war perfekt, man musste nur am Kanal entlang gehen und war in der Stadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wieder dort übernachten.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Close to two pubs that provide great food. Close to Didcot for train to Oxford. Very close to the Harwell campus.

Gardners cottage is set on the Green in the historic village of Brill. It is in a quiet location, in this quintessentially English village. The cottage is extremely well appointed and clean, with a homely feel. Christopher and Gillian are superb hosts and nothing is too mich trouble. We are frequent visitors and can highly recommend this accommodation.

My family and I have a lovely long weekend over at the house. The house was just the right size for our small family gathering and we found it cosy once it had heated up. A lovely old property with some quirky features. And the wildlife around the area was fantastic! There are some beautiful Red Kites that live in the trees that can be seen from the kitchen, and nearby we spotted deer, foxes, badger footprints, and even an Osprey visited! Beautiful, cosy, and functional property. Will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely stay at Tim's place with my hubby Lee and our pooch Huxley. The lodge was very peaceful, warm and comfortable. And the new railway sleeper bed is fab! Tim and his co-host Paulina were good hosts, we had one small issue with the wifi, which they worked to resolve very quickly. Lovely welcome items waiting for us, which was a great touch. I work in the area quite often and wouldn't hesitate to book Tim's space again in the future.

The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. We stayed with three kids (one baby) and it was just perfect. Our kids LOVED the pool (super warm and Just right for the kids) and the games room. The welcome basket was amazing and super generous- best gift ever!

Nicky was a great host and the house was very clean, well kitted out and a lovely relaxing place to stay. My girls loved the tennis court and we would definitely visit again.

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.
