Jewell Ridge : locations de vacances

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was squeaky clean, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, even wood for the fire pit and chairs to put by the fire. Our puppy also had a great time playing in the large meadow by the creek. We hope to come back soon.

Great value and very friendly owners...on a pretty creek and firewood provided. Right next to the trails however it is on a main road. The back is very private.

This home was beautiful and a great place to stay while exploring New River Gorge NP! One note for families - the upper level rooms are not enclosed by a ceiling, there is a gap between the top of the walls and the dome. We had two families with 5 little kids and we were a little stumped about what to do with all the kids. At various ages, 3 of the kids could stay in the bunk room but we needed separate spaces for the babies to go so that all the kids could get a good night sleep. We found that having one baby sleep in the downstairs bedroom with their parents and one baby sleeping in the laundry room worked for us, but this is something to keep in mind for multiple families staying here!

We travel to WV often to ride sxs’s and this is the nicest, cleanest place we have stayed in yet. We will be staying there again.

Great place for our stay while in town. It was great to be able yo bring the dogs along with us. Extremely responsive and great to work with. Snacks were a great touch

We had a great stay at Stephanie's place. It was clearly set-up for people coming to ride on the Hatfield McCoy trails and it did not disappoint. The location was great for us to set off exploring each day. The garage had plenty of room for us to pull our URVs in each night and the parking area was plenty big enough for 2 trucks and trailers. Plenty of room inside and out. The kids enjoyed the pool table and it was a great area to hang out after a long day on the trails. The only issue we had was a minor miscommunication about toilet paper. We thought it was supplied and it was not....so make sure you bring your own. Aside from that everything was perfect and we definitely plan on a return visit!!

This cabin was very peaceful and serene. It is a perfect location to unwind from the busy and stressful life of the city. Plenty of trails to hike with creeks and water falls. The kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation. Plenty of board games and video games for kids. Two fire places, one inside and one outside to set the mood and gather around. Our host was nice and easy to communicate with, we will definitely come back again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Granny's Place and we undoubtedly will be back in the future (My husband was already talking about when we could come back as we were packing up to leave). It's central to all of our favorite outdoors things to do in South West Virginia, including hiking, antiquing, motorcycle riding (road and trail riding) and more. Try the near by drag racing strip if you have time--even if you don't think you're a fast car enthusiast. The house is super private, super quiet, and very cozy. Amelia is a gracious hostess. I can't recommend this place enough.
