First of all amazing amazing amazing. Loved it from the minute I walked in. Very clean and great views. I thought it would be nice to have a TV in the room but that doesn’t make sense as you will be exploring the city or just relaxing eating in the living room where the TV was. Check was literally so easy and much easier than other host who have some property in the same building as I booked an extra because I wanted to stay longer and in comparison to a different host, Alex was by far the best and easiest for unit wise and check in and check out wise. Definitely coming back to Alex when I am in Costa Rica

We (a family of four) spent a month here and really enjoyed our time. If you love nature, you will not be disappointed with the house or the neighborhood as you are surrounded by it in a very peaceful setting. We saw many species of birds pretty much every day (macaws, toucans, aracaris, oropendolas, and many more), had a couple of sloths living 50m away from the house, saw lots of cool lizards and insects, and found three varieties of poison dart frogs near the waterfall in the neighborhood. The pool is very convenient and the internet is good enough that I was able to work remotely from here for a month with only a couple minor issues with power outages. I recommend that you consider bringing an extra fan or two and plan on buying bottled water to drink.

This is an absolute gem of a place! Close to everything in Heredia. David was the perfect host. He greeted us upon our arrival and was helpful without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed for a week in Yolanda’s place and had a wonderful experience. It was very easy to find, check in, and the garage space was convenient. Yolanda was very responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. The house is comfortable, clean, and has all you may need to prepare meals and relax indoors or on the patio. You’ll feel right at home! We enjoyed the proximity to the center of Heredia and found a mini market, bakery, and several restaurants just a block or two away. We even found a dog park for our small dog a short walk from the house. If you need an uber, they’ll arrive in minutes and are affordable. There is a fun little bar nearby which serves bocas (or small plates of food), a typical Costa Rican bar tradition. Next time we need to stay in Heredia or in the vicinity of San Jose, we will definitely choose Yolanda’s place.

This was my second stay in Gustavo's place. Gustavo is an amazing host, and one of the best hosts that I've experienced on Airbnb. He is very responsive, and provides many toiletries that other places did not provide. The apartment is big, clean and has an amazing view. The apartment is in a good location and has many things that are walkable. I would definitely stay in Gustavo's place again.

There was an issue with the place we were supposed to stay at but Juan Pablo contacted us promptly and arranged for us to stay at another place. Incredible views, but the road there is extremely windy and steep, give yourself plenty of time to get there.

I enjoyed my month stay at Unity. Charlotte and Santiago are amazing at ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is excellent.. close to the University and shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed the Sunday farmers market 5 blocks away. I enjoyed feeling part of the city. I specifically came for enhancing my yoga practice. The location is near many yoga facilities. The inhouse yoga studio was a selling feature for me. I daily used the room. I enjoyed the unique back yard regenerative garden. The sustainability ethos was important to me. I used many of the common space to hang out/work/relax. Unity is unique. You can participate and even lead events (I enjoyed hosting/helping in Karoke-pizza night as well as a Tropical Happy Hour night events), OR stay to yourself. Incredibly enjoyed my stay.. looking forward to returning again.

Our 2-month stay felt like home away from home. The location is exceptional - situated in a peaceful area of Heredia that also offers convenience. On the corner, you'll find a charming fruit store (Carla), and nearby there's an Auto-Mercado supermarket that has all the essentials. Don't miss the local "feria" (farmers market) on Fri and Sat for fresh & local produce. My favorite was a delightful French bakery called Donde Arthuro, just a 10-min walk. The apartment was perfectly spacious for our needs, but what really elevated our experience was the shared rooftop space. We hosted friends for a lovely gathering there, enjoyed reading there, and found it to be an idyllic retreat during occasional rainfalls - the gentle patter of raindrops created a soothing atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is Fabiana and her wonderful family. Their hospitality is unmatched - responsive, accommodating, and genuinely warm. We met her aunt and uncle & developed a quick friendship as well.

Muy bonito y acogedor, bastante tranquilo para descansar. Todo lo necesario en el lugar, no me quejo, nos gustó bastante.

Nos hospedamos en esta cabaña el fin de semana con mi familia y la experiencia fue simplemente espectacular. El lugar es demasiado lindo, rodeado de naturaleza y con una de las mejores vistas al Valle Central que hemos visto. La cabaña está muy bien equipada, todo impecable y cuidado hasta el último detalle. Se respira tranquilidad y se siente una conexión real con el entorno. Está ubicada muy cerca del Volcán Barva, lo que la hace ideal para quienes disfrutan de la montaña y el aire fresco. Sin duda, un lugar al que queremos volver. ¡100% recomendado!

Great affordable place for full country Costa Rican experience. The house is located at the far end of the street on the left. The house was repainted blue (not orange anymore). We really enjoy our stay, we did a charcoal BBQ, walk in the small path and enjoyed the pool. Enersto received us and made a walk through around the property. We had the necessary things to cook, however, bring your cooking oil, spices and dish cloth. Each room has his own bathroom. We didnt had warm water but, it's was fines given the hot weather. Highly recommand this place and the owner!

El apartamento es demasiado bonito una vista impresionante, aseado con utensilios a fácil acceso para mantener la limpieza, súper completo la cocina tiene todas las comodidades para la preparación de alimentos y una gran variedad de utensilios y muy espacioso la sala de estar y comedor son justos para compartir con libertad de espacio, por último y muy importante la atención de don Miguel es muy precisa, oportuna y muy cordial, brinda indicaciones claras y responde en tiempos cortos de espera. Sin dudar lo recomendaría el precio es justo y el lugar es muy agradable. Una particularidad es que en el condo las personas en general son muy respetuosas y amables.

Muy buen lugar, la pasamos muy bien. Un lugar seguro y cómodo, se encuentra en una buena ubicación.

this is our second time staying with Jon. its a very nice place, strong wifi and he's fast to answer if we have questions or issues. we stayed in 2 other places on that property but Jon's is best because you can't hear the highway noise from his place and it's in the first floor so safe for kids not to be with a balcony. Definitely recommended

Just a short walk to the downtown area. Very quiet area. Staff at La Sabana were very helpful, polite and made you feel at home. On site breakfast was good.

Adela and her son Philip were wonderful and gracious hosts. The property is outstanding and offers a wonderful environment to rest and get away. The house we rented was great and the outdoors was cheerful and very quiet. We loved it. Thank you Adela. We will return.
