Great little place in East jindabyne so nice and quiet and away from the township but close enough for anything you want. stunning views over the lake

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

What a beautiful, quiet place with expansive views of the lake, a surprise wombat for a neighbour and even cute tadpoles in the fish pond. We loved our stay but sadly we didn't have any time to use the spa (there's a spa!). The coffee machine was a nice touch and got plenty of use. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Well appointed, toasty warm and beautifully styled. Great to be able to bring our dog but surrounds not fenced so not quite as relaxing as it could have been. Delish dinner and granola, thanks Warren. Snow on our last day was magical. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Dianne was a great host, very easy to chat with and accommodating with out needs. Will stay again if ever in the area.

For a large group of adults (12) the facilities were great. 6 bedrooms. 4 bathrooms. 2 adults per bedroom. Generous room sizes. Did not have to rely on crowding into small rooms with bunk beds. Very comfortable space to live in. Connecting personal devices to the TV via WiFi or HDMI cables was troublesome. HDMI Cable ports almost unaccessable, set-up links/software difficult to navigate. No instructions available.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed. We absolutely love the location and the accommodation itself is to die for. We didn’t leave without re booking! Thankyou Sonja

Olivier always responds quickly to our questions. Easy communication. He gave a quick instructions on how to use the cabin when we arrived so a recommendation is to update your ETA with him. Though the place does not have aircon or heater, the cabin is hydronically heated and keeps the room temp warm even in cold winter. No need to worry about feeling cold indoor at all. The cabin is well-designed to be environmental friendly. We are glad to stay at a place like this. Highly recommended!!! The cabin is 20mins away from Jindabyne and about 40mins to the Perisher Valley. You can stop by Jindabyne for food/supplies, and all ski related rental stuff.

Gary's place is great and is very well looked after. The location is a few min drive from the Jindabyne centre with easy access to the shops, restaurants and the Jindabyne Lake. The cottage is far from the road, so it's really quiet and peaceful there. There's also lots of wildlife, so birdwatchers and anyone who loves nature and animals would have a great time. 4 of us were travelling +our small dog, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. We'd love to stay here again some time.

We loved staying at the farm and for sure will come back again. The owners were super lovely and helpful. The cabin was lovely to be in, the view was beautiful. Thank you Brendan and Hayley.

We came to the area for my son's wedding. Tristan's cottage was in the perfect spot. We loved the cosiness of the place, the quiet, and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We would’ve liked to have some shampoo etc in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. Very warm with great open fire and slow combustion heater. Heaps of games , pool table converts to table tennis table and darts board. Very convenient to both Perisher valley via ski tube, and thredbo for great father/son ski weekend.

Prudence and Craig were wonderful and welcoming. The grounds were full of wildlife and walking along their trails were beautiful. Location was great distance between Jindy and Thredbo. Our dogs loved it too!

We had a wonderful visit to Lake Crackenback. The accommodation was clean and exactly as expected.

The place is meticulously planned and has very good amenities. Renata is very warm and approachable. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is planning for activities around Thredbo.

We had another great stay at Alpine Stays 518, the host Renata was very friendly, attentive and helpful as always. The room has all amenities that you can ask for, new furniture and is very clean. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were all spotless. Check in and check out processes were simple and easy to follow. We will definitely be back again, hopefully sometime soon in the near future.

Unit is in a great location . Great view of the lake and easy walkable to shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

Best place to stay. Over looking the beautiful lake. Clean warm and well appointed. Centrally located to shops with undercover parking for easy access. Loved it
