Our stay was for my daughters bachelorette party. The house was clean with plenty or room for nine ladies. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all the basic necessities. The hot tub was amazing and all of the outdoor spaces were scenic and relaxing. We had a great time at the home and also with the nearby downtown shopping, restaurants and winery. I highly recommend this host and we are already talking about returning for a yearly girls trip.

What cute and accommodating place!! Very quiet and peaceful!! And an awesome story behind the humble abode, just ask Cowboy Joe!! It is a great place if you plan on venturing out during the day and want to come back and relax!! The hot tub was awesome. The beds are amazing too. As mentioned before the kitchen is bare except for cooking and eating utensils. So plan for that. We would definitely do a retrun trip!!

This was the perfect house to stay to celebrate our friend Turning 30. The house was immaculately clean very well updated looked identical to the photos. So close to town but felt so remote. It was the perfect chill getaway!

We had three families stay with young children. Loved the club house & hot tub on site. Dan was very responsive. Place is cozy.

I appreciate Andrea's hospitality! Great communication and nice home with lots of space. We enjoyed the extras like pancake batter for making breakfast and cute decor.

This quaint, quiet and remarkably cozy cabin was a perfect weekend retreat! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed everything this cabin had to offer. The kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast every morning and pack a lunch for walking the state park only about a mile down the road. Watching the pelicans swim down the Mississippi was morning entertainment from the porch chairs. The relaxing jacuzzi tub was a special treat every evening as we watched our favorite show from the outdoor tv. This cabin was well equipped, decorated thoughtfully and tastefully and provided us with a relaxing get-away! In addition, Pauline was quick to deliver a new coffee maker when the one we had wouldn’t work! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your slice of Heaven!

We had an amazing stay! I can’t think of one thing I would change. Beth is very responsive. We had a house full of young boys who wanted to sleep in a different place each night! We played pool and poker! Easy 15 minute ride into downtown Galena. House was very clean!

This cabin was fully stocked with amenities, linens, soap, washing detergent, kitchen equipment and was super clean. The area around the cabin peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a cabin getaway. Definitely worth the price.

Visited from Chicago after graduation from residency with my mom, sister and dog. It was just what we needed. Sooooo peaceful, restorative and tranquil. The place was comfortable and cozy. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and chatting with my family while watching the rain, the fireflies and the mooing cows. Will probably visit again sometime soon!

Enjoyed our trip to Galena and our stay in Elizabeth at the bnb. Only wish the temperature was warmer the weekend we was there but still had a good time

Awesome location to relax and disconnect. Galena is just a short drive away with lots of fun things to checkout and great restaurants.

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

This is one of the nicest AirBnBs we have stayed in! It is SO COZY! The place is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful view of surrounding nature. It was very clean and smelled wonderful. The bed was comfortable. There were ample towels and even a claw foot tub. We felt so relaxed and it was great to wake up to the sound of birds and gentle wind. It felt very private and peaceful. 10/10 would stay again!!

Lovely home on a great lot that offers privacy and tranquility while being close enough to downtown Galena. Clean, cute, welcoming, and well-equipped, plus many fun extras like ping pong and snow cone maker that came in handy on a rainy day. Plenty of room for two adults and two teens. Pet friendly but did not smell of pets at all. Mattresses were comfortable and bathrooms and amenities were great. Living room fireplace worked well and ample firewood and firestarter was at the house. Hot tub was very clean. We did not use association pool or space but did hike the nearby galena territory trails, which were well kept. It's truly dark at night, which made for great stargazing, but glad we arrived during daylight hours the first day. Appreciated the organized and thoughtful initial communication and info provided by the owner, and her kind check-ins during our stay. We would stay here again!

We had a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. From swimming at the clubhouse, viewing the stars with s’mores in the amazing fire pit area, hiking at Apple Canyon, shopping downtown, we did it all! Hosts were very responsive. Kristin’s place is a great retreat! Beautifully decorated and cozy. We spent a lot of our time near the fire pit and by the lake. Kristin answered all of our questions and was very friendly throughout the process. Huge thanks for letting us stay and disconnect for a few days!

We had a wonderful time staying at this amazing floating Cabin! The pictures don’t do a justice of how beautiful this place is. Waking up in the morning with the sun rising over the Mississippi was gorgeous. The serene sounds of nature. So peaceful. We left with great memories and will for sure be back!
