We have been coming to this place for the past five years for our annual hill country motorcycle ride! It is a perfect set up for a relaxing morning or evening after our rides. Centrally located to so many great places. Comfortable beds, great views always! Nothing beats a morning cup of coffee on the front porch …except maybe the hot tub!

The Champagne Room nicely meet my spouse and my needs for our visit to friends in Fredericksburg. The location was only several minutes from Main Street with many places for dining. The room was as listed. The bottle of champagne was a nice touch. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Isaac was very friendly and asked if everything meet expectations or if we needed anything. His texting communications were very nice. Thanks Isaac for a pleasant stay.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

What an amazing beautiful place to stay and share with friends and family! We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful scenery while in the pool and hot tub and the spacious house was perfect for entertaining our group of 10! It was a cozy place to stay after being at wineries all day!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. The cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. Everything was in good working order, it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. A nice, budget friendly, rustic country cottage in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for an anniversary trip, but it would work just as well for bringing the kids. River access was an easy walk, neighbors were friendly, and our host even brought us cookies. Elsewise, Cynthia was very accommodating but unobtrusive. We would definitely come back and stay again!

We had the best time staying at this little cottage. Everything was so nice, clean and comfortable. We walked to eat at the local Restaurants, shop on Main Street. This house is in the perfect location.

My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

We've visited Fredericksburg a handful of times. We picked this place knowing it's just a few blocks from the center of the action. We were in F-burg for a 10k race beginning and ending at the Marktplatz which was a short walk from Tim's place. This was perfect for what we needed.

The cabin was great to stay at, a getaway to enjoy away from the city was nice! It truly is an amazing spot, the property is walkable and there is lots to do around the area as well. From the winery nearby to many brewing spots to enjoy. The place matched the description having everything needed for our stay.

Great last minute stay, Leo was the perfect host. Thank you for your flexibility and hospitality. We would certainly stay again if we’re ever back in the area.

Love staying in campfire circle and Donna’s place was no exception. It was perfect for our crew, had stunning views, lots of deer, and each room was cutely decorated for Christmas. The house is FULLY stocked with anything you may need, which is much appreciated. This is how Airbnb used to be before all the good properties were snatched up by corporations. Classic, family owned home with all the charm and attention to detail.

What an amazing place! The studio was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The yard outside the studio was a beautiful spot for outdoor dining on the giant picnic table. We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and sitting by the fire ring in the evening. We loved walking around the ranch and looking at all the flowers, the scenery, the horses (especially the new foal), etc. The hike around the mountain/hill was just strenuous enough with lots of beautiful views (be sure to bring water)! Finally, their spot on the river was perfect. At this time of year many spots have run dry or stagnant, however, at Montesino there was still enough water in the swimming hole to have a good soak. It’s warm (as all Tx rivers are at this time of year), and there’s moss covering the rocks (again, as every river in Tx has right now) but the water is moving so it’s not stagnant and it’s still cool enough before 3 pm to be refreshing! It was a lovely time!

We loved our little getaway here! It was very quiet and peaceful! Everything was clean and looked exactly like the photos! Such a wonderful host!

What a beautiful vacation away from the busy city life. This bunkhouse was well equipped for relaxation including a beautiful view, lovely plung pool off the deck and a gorgeous bathtub that you could swim in with a rain shower next to it that was just as luxurious. The beds and linen were comfortable. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, what you’d expect with a bunkhouse but it was adorable. The driveway is 1.5 mile hard packed dirt but very well maintained. There is a plethora of wildlife along the way so keep your eyes open! The hosts are responsive and extremely helpful and nice! Will return again when in the area!

John and Sherri’s place was even better than advertised! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the Backwoods BnB is a large inviting space. Our two young children had plenty to keep them occupied, and morning walks to visit Brandi and Bailey- the two resident longhorns- was a highlight for our son! The large open floor plan worked great for us, and allowed our little ones to tire themselves out before bed each night. Although secluded, the BnB was a great base for day trips to Pedernales Falls, Wimberly, Fredericksburg, and Enchanted Rock. Dripping Springs is also a short drive away for groceries, or a quick meal.

we definitely enjoyed our stay. Super peaceful and clean. I really liked that it had two restroom. The lake is dried up so you don't get the view from the balcony but you still get to see the deer roaming the area which is nice.

Our family of six stayed here for our trip, and had plenty of room in the house. It had everything we needed, and was very clean. We enjoyed the beautiful house and view, and it looks even better in person! Just plan in advance for your meals, as there are not a ton of options nearby. The hosts quickly responded and accommodated any requests! We definitely recommend staying here!

Bringing my kids to a town very close to my heart was made even better by this beautiful home. The pool, 3 bathrooms and amazing surroundings made this the perfect place to spend a summer vacation with our family.

Great time spent at Doug’s tiny home! I highly recommend this place! Loved the nature and vibe overall! Lots of things to do to have fun!
