This place was amazing. It’s full of history and comfort. I felt right at home. The horses, cows and chickens were an amazing addition to our stay. I personally love when stays have animals- brings me comfort. We even had a beautiful fire in the fireplace and a bath in the beautiful clawfoot tub.

We had a very comfortable stay in a great location to visit family in Ft Worth. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay, with plenty of room. We made good use of the kitchen. Didn’t manage to get into the hot tub this time, but love that as an amenity! The place worked very well for us as a family!

Very comfortable place to relax and unwind. Spent a week with family and enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and brick wood fired pizza oven!!

If you love horses this is a must stay. Uplifting and peaceful. Donna was helpful without being intrusive, providing a sincerely welcoming environment. The RV had everything necessary to live like we were in our home. We unplugged for a couple days, took in our beautiful surroundings, and left refreshed.

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

What a GREAT place to stay! Very hospitable hosts, amazing home right on the lake, plenty of outdoor activities, great yard for the dogs (unless they can’t swim) and upscale amenities such as arcade games (Gallaga!!!) hot tub, blackstone griddle and grill, not to mention the Hexclad pots and pans!! What a treat! I didn’t want to leave.

We had a great time at Bob’s place. The location was great for us as we split time between Waco and Fort Worth. My only complaint, and it’s not really even a complaint as it is mentioned in the listing, but there were a lot of personal food items in the pantry and fridge that were not available to use. This definitely feels like a private residence just being used occasionally as an AirBnB which again is fine. I just wanted others to be aware. Other than that, we had a nice time and would likely stay again if back in that area!
