When you think about Texas, you think about pleasent dry temperatures and beautiful sunsets. At Alexandra's place, your dreams can come true! You will find many unique, Texas style decorations throughout this home. Conveniently located not far away from our wedding venue where our niece was getting married, the guest house was perfect for our family to get ready for the wedding party and to have some family moments with our relatives who stayed with us. The property, in itself, is a cleverly designed modern above ground, ranch home style where you will have convenient access to a beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately the heat for the jacuzzi seemed to not be working during our stay. We notified the hostess that we wanted to use it the evening that we arrived and sadly the water temperature was to cold to even get in. Hopefully this is only temporary.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed this cottage. We especially liked the location and walked downtown each morning for breakfast at a local diner and a local coffee shop. Great place!

We have family living close to the Silo. This was our 2nd time to stay. After finding this gem this will be our “Go-To” for every visit in the future! The hosts are great, Ely the dog is beautiful and friendly, the Silo is the cutest, and the place is so peaceful! Thank-you!

We could not have booked a better place. We had some personal issues and Erin was responsive and allowed us to extend our stay. Home is comfy and had everything we needed. Was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of restaurants and easy to get around. I can’t thank our hosts enough for working with us. Would book again next time we visit.

This home was beautiful! Secluded and private. We had a few families stay at Christi and Tyler’s place for a baseball tournament. This home had anything and everything you could need, and then things you didn’t even know you needed! Kitchen was completely stocked. All our kids had so much fun in the lake with the kayaks and paddle boat. We caught a good amount of fish, enough to have a fish fry! Christi and Tyler were extremely helpful and kind. Even asked how our boys were doing in their baseball tournament! The home was clean and had enough supplies to help keep it that way. The TWO washers and driers were amazing and came in handy with all our ball park and lake clothes. I really could never explain just how great our stay and our hosts were. Our group has talked about going back just for a regular vacation so we can fully enjoy the house and lake more than we were able too!

Amys place is wonderful! It’s a relaxing atmosphere with everything you need in the cabin for the perfect stay! She is very welcoming and answered all my questions promptly. If you are looking for something nice and secluded you need to book! There is also a pond and animals on the property which gives it a nice county feel!

This was a very quiet and peaceful home close to where we were working.
