Peaceful and quiet getaway spot with a beautiful view of Port San Juan. We stayed for a guys reunion trip and it was the perfect spot to kick back, have a hot tub, chat around the fire, cook some good food in a fully stocked kitchen, and just hang out in comfort.

Such a wonderful experience at their treehouse, can't wait to come back another time~. Hosts were accommodating and responsive!

Dylan was a great host, had to pay a little extra to stay the one night. Overall the place was stunning, clean, very easy check in and a quick walk to the pub and coffee shoes. Overall we had an amazing time and the hot tub made it extra worth it!

Had an amazing time with some friends and family. This wasn't our first stay at this Airbnb and won't be our last. We love this spot. It's so handy being in-between Jordan river and Sooke. The hikes and beaches nearby are great the house is so spacious, scenic, and wonderful to stay at.

Rachel was incredibly responsive during our stay. The home is as beautiful as the pictures and the location is very peaceful. We were looking for a few days of peace and quiet, and Rachel's place fit the bill perfectly. There isn't phone service on the drive up, so make sure to have the instructions saved in advance and map downloaded. Rachel's check-in instructions were clear, timely, and helpful.

Just finished a 2 night stay with my husband and our dog and we had the best time! the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for a home cooked meal the first night. we explored the next day and visited Big Doug. such a cool experience! went down to Botanical Beach then finished the day with dinner at the pub (the fish & chips were so good!). the hottub was such a nice treat at the end of the day too. Jodi and Ian made check in super easy and were always available if we needed anything. can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at Jordan and Jordie's. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and warm. The hot tub was a nice way to relax. The location was perfect if you enjoy peace and quiet, exploring beaches, and there was surf nearby!

Julia and Mike were the perfect hosts—we absolutely loved our time on the farm! From the warm, super-cute and spotless sleeping cabin to the well-equipped kitchen and washroom, everything was just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our rustic wine-country getaway. Waking up to coffee and the horses in the field was absolutely stunning—it added such a peaceful touch to our mornings. Don’t let the short walk to the washroom stop you—it’s really not far at all. We biked to nearby wineries, cideries, and the local pub—so much fun! Our little pug, Jeannie, had a blast too; it’s such a dog-friendly space. We’re already planning our next trip back—can’t wait!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The weather was perfect and we spent hours lounging on the beautiful deck, basking in the sunshine while listening to the soothing sound of the roaring surf. The views were breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot eagles soaring above us—a truly magical experience. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat, offering everything we needed and more. John was welcoming and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom, which had an incredible view. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing beneath the window was an experience we’ll never forget. We also took long walks along the beach and explored the nearby waterfall, which was so peaceful and rejuvenating. This stay has by far been my favourite place to unwind, and we will absolutely be back.

Great place to stay! Easy to find, close to everything, nice area

Gail's House is a beloved family getaway filled with quirky and interesting marine and nautical pictures and gadgets so lovingly collected. It's very comfortable and right on the dock and the views are amazing. Lucky for us, we were there in prawn season and our hosts gave us the best prawns we have ever had, fresh from the water. I want to return.

Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful vacation at James's place! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The location is truly spectacular – so peaceful and serene, with breathtaking views. We were so impressed with how well-equipped everything was. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and the outdoor BBQ area was a real treat. We especially loved the balcony overlooking that amazing lake; it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. There was more than enough room for our big family to spread out comfortably. A special mention must go to Bev and Don, the neighbours next door. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming – it truly felt like we were visiting family! The only minor downsides were the master bedroom's spring mattress and wishing for curtains on the living room's picture window. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!

This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.

I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for a birthday celebration and they enjoyed the swimming hole and sauna. It was a great sleeping set up for them. And with being so remote, it truly felt like a far away adventure. Being from salt spring, we are more prepared for rustic. For anyone that’s not as used to rustic, then it might be a bit of an adjustment. The view is gorgeous. And we had a great time. Great chats with Roman as well. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s cabin. Extremely beautiful scenery complete with seals, ducks and geese swimming by the dock. The surrounding forest is gorgeous and we loved observing the tide. The beds are incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens. Comfy couches and I loved reading in the swinging chair. We enjoyed the dock, the outdoor dining area and the covered deck. As it states in the listing, it is a steep gravel road going down to the cabin that requires 4-wheel drive. Was no problem for us. I will miss this place and hope to visit again.

we stayed 12 days, I always find with air b&b it's about the individual experience. we were very happy with accommodation, Tertia was very responsive and super helpful, lots of spices and condiments. a good supply of firewood, all in all no complaints

My colleague and I loved staying at evolve – so beautiful and peaceful. The hostess Michelle was ready to greet us and made sure we were fully familiar with how to make everything work and what was available to us. There were a lot of little extras for anyone who is traveling without food to stock the kitchen. All in all it was a lovely experience and Michelle's thoughtfulness and kindness were greatly appreciated. The beach was absolutely gorgeous for walking!

Great location, so many beaches. Robins and bunnies in the yard. Stargazing and quiet. Bright and lots of room. Had a restorative and creative time. Good books too.

We stayed two nights and had the most beautiful time there. Definitely will be going back. The place was clean, easy to find, very quiet. The covered deck with its infrared heat and comfortable seating was like no other. From the deck, the fire pit, the bbq and the peace and quiet during our stay. We could really tell that the hosts made sure everything was perfect. It was definitely a place to return to. Sooner than later.

We travelled from England for two weeks to explore Vancouver Island. The cottage was the perfect base for us. Situated in the most beautiful location with a river running at the back - it really was a haven of calm for us as we lead such busy and stressful lives at home. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the cooking utensils we needed plus more! Added extras like binoculars to star gaze, bear bells, cozy blankets and umbrellas showed how much the host really cares about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Our daughter loved reading in the hammock! Doug and Michelle were fantastic in helping us to arrange our trip and also in recommending local places to visit, eat, shop etc. Always responsive to our messages and friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to anybody! The location is perfect - isolated for those people who want the peace and relaxation but great for exploring the island for those like us. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOUG AND MICHELLE!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Marta's!. The cabin was everything I hoped for and more. The interior design is stunning, with lots of space and a thoughtful glass theme that adds a unique touch. The furnishings made the stay incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the personal touch Marta added, which made the experience so special. You can clearly see the love and care that went into creating this space, especially the nods to her partner's love for boating—something that added an extra layer of charm. Thank you, Marta, for creating such a warm and welcoming environment.
