This place felt like a lucky find! We wish we had more spare time to enjoy the spot, but hopefully we will be back again. Totally recommended :)

This houseboat is wonderful and the perfect chilled get away just outside the city centre. Hosts were great with communication and the houseboat was better than we could’ve imagined. Great location with every type of public transport right on your doorstep or if the weather permits a nice walk back into town. 100% would recommend!

Wir können nur Danke für die wunderbare Zeit sagen. Sietske ist eine liebevolle Gastgeberin, der es einen an nichts mangeln lässt und sehr schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert. Wir hatten unheimliches Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten grillen und das Boot Leben in vollen Zügen genießen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Lovely home Perfect neighborhood to stay if touring Amsterdam Host extremely responsive to any of our needs

Marie Louise was very responsive and helpful. She met us to take our bags so we could continue to the city and enjoy a full day. Told us a great area in Amsterdam and we found an amazing fresh market with lots of food and clothing. Everything fresh. The house was just as pictured. It states it is across the river and it was. It was a 2 mile walk from the train station. Very easy walk. We did it multiple times. You can u er if you want. She was very nice and responsive and even helped us figure out the washing machine lol. I definitely would stay again. Plenty of room and utensils. We did not eat in town but looked like it had some great places. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Thanks for letting us stay at your home.

Uma boa estadia, conforto, tranquilidade e uma conexão única com a natureza. Pela manhã, o sol nasce refletindo no espelho d’água, criando um espetáculo dourado que pode ser apreciado com uma xícara de café na varanda flutuante. Adorei!

Wonderful experience - for us, this is now the only way to visit Amsterdam! Hadewych is an EXCELLENT host and staying on the boat was an unforgettable experience. It's warm, inviting, and cozy - it's well-curated and every detail is intentional. The location cannot be beat, the 9 streets are a perfect place to "anchor" during your stay. The boat is gorgeous inside and out and people regularly walk by on the bridge to snap pictures of it. While we were there, two mother ducks were looking after their eggs on the boat deck, and we were lucky enough to help one mother get all 10 of her ducklings into the water! We loved the city and if we ever return we'll be right back on the Musard! The location cannot be beat - it is within 20 minutes to EVERYTHING. Do yourself a favor and book your Amsterdam stay on the Musard!

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Einfach zu finden. Gastgeberin spricht zwar nur Niederländisch, hat sich aber gut vorbereitet mit einer Übersetzungapp. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man kann den Bus nach Amsterdam zu Fuß erreichen

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

If you are looking to stay on the river in a quiet neighbourhood - on a house boat - it doesn't get better than this. I loved waking up, peering out onto the water. Each morning the rowers are out, people running along the riverbank - it's incredibly peaceful yet full of life. This is a real boat, not a floating house so you have to navigate different levels inside, getting on and off the boat etc. All part of the charm. Martin is a fabulous host. Note: this is the old school airbnb of old - its Martin's home, beautifully appointed, spacious and generously kitted out - with the comfort of a 'lived in' feel. The upper deck is just delightful, full of light and windows and you can sit with your coffee and watch the river-world go by. The area is surrounded by park, but just nearby is a lovely high-street with shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and deli's. Trams will take directly into the centre of Amsterdam - everything you need - highly recommended!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

We returned for a second long stay and it is still wonderful! Great location just far enough out of Centrum to be missing all the tourists but still close enough to easily get in there every day. Liz is a terrific communicator and it is super easy to get in and out. The house boat is very comfortable and well maintained. I hope to return next year!

Es war sehr schön, ein tolles Hausboot, und lauter freundliche Leute in der Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, und hoffen wiederzukommen. Thijs ist sehr freundlich gewesen und hat uns immer gleich zurückgeschrieben wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Tolle Unterkunft!

This is a superb position in the best part of Amsterdam - picture perfect - handy to all the spots and very tranquil at night - the church bells add the final magic

Wir waren für ein langes Wochenende im Hausboot Nummer 6 und damit sehr zufrieden. Die wenigen Boote die tagsüber vorbeifahren stören nicht, ansonsten ist kein anderes Hausboot in direkter Blickrichtung und man ist wirklich autark von allem. Wir hatten kurz Probleme mit dem Backofen und der Toilette, auf unsere Nachrichten wurde schnell reagiert und es kam ein Techniker vorbei. Zum Saisonstart kann das schon mal passieren und es hat unserer Erholung keinen Abbruch getan. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

The waterloft is stunning, finished to a beautiful standard and so cosy. We had such a lovely stay and given the chance would absolutely stay again. Mandy was very welcoming and helpful in all of her messages and we didn't experience any issues while staying, would absolutely reccomend

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern (11 + 13 Jahr) für ein verlängertes Wochenende auf dem Hausboot. Es war wirklich ein großer Spaß! Besonders für die zwei Teenager. Das Hausboot ist neu, sauber und mit dem kleinen Beiboot (Tender) die Gegend zu erkunden war für alle ein tolles Erlebnis. Zu empfehlen ist allerdings ein Mückennetz für das Bett. Auch im Oktober ist es noch warm genug im Boot und der kleine Ofen (Pellet) reicht für diese Jahreszeit völlig aus. Der Preis ist in Ordnung, denn das Hausboot zu unterhalten, scheint mir doch recht aufwendig.

Bestes Airbnb was ich je gebucht habe. Super schön eingerichtet, alles sauber und top ausgestattet. Unterkunft ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen und Kommunikation lief auch super! Gerne wieder!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Surla Houseboat for two nights, and I must say, it was absolutely spiffing! From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in for a great experience. The view from the boat was simply marvellous, providing a picturesque backdrop that made us feel like we were in a postcard. Our stay was nearly perfect, save for a minor hiccup with an appliance that went on strike after a power cut. However, a quick call to the host resolved our woes. The host was remarkably attentive and sprang into action like a superhero in a cape (well, not literally, but you get the picture). Thankfully, the stunning environment and the overall experience more than made up for the temporary blip in appliance functionality. Wendy, the lovely host who introduced us to the houseboat, was incredibly nice. She gave us a detailed tour and explained everything with such precision that it

Wij hebben een prachtig weekend gehad op de boot van Robbert. Makkelijke aankomst, zeer mooi verblijf, superrustig en alles wat je nodig hebt aan boord! 100% aanrader als je een rustig weekendje in de natuur en op het water zoekt. Zou het zeker opnieuw doen!

We verbleven maar één nachtje op de woonboot, maar voelden ons er vanaf het eerste moment thuis. Het is er zalig vertoeven op het terras, maar je kan ook de sportieve toer op en net zoals mij een tochtje met de sup (die we bijhadden) maken om zo de omgeving te verkennen. Alles ziet er uit zoals op de foto’s en is kraaknet. Op sommige momenten vliegen de vliegtuigen laag over, maar dat is eerder leuk om zien dan storend. Je kan er je auto heel gemakkelijk kwijt. De sushi in Brasserie de Haven is hemels. Kortom: een verblijf bij Mandy? Doen!

Anne ist eine sehr liebe Gastgeberin, die rasch auf Fragen ect. reagiert. Die Unterkunft ist durch die Lage auf Wasser ganz besonders. Die Beschreibung "2 Schlafzimmer" ist etwas irritierend, wenn man dann feststellt, dass es sich nicht um zwei separate Räume handelt. Zumal auch noch Waschbecken und Dusche - offen - integriert sind. Wir waren mit guten Freunden unterwegs und haben uns arrangiert. Intimsphäre muss man etwas großzügiger auslegen ;o)!!! Ansonsten ist das Waterloft liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Alles ist geordnet und einwandfrei sauber. Nach einem tollen aber anstrengenden Städtetag in Amsterdam (ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt) war die ruhige Lage des Waterlofts erholsam entspannend. Von uns auf jedem Fall uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!
