What a unique and wonderful place to experience the splendor of Kachemak Bay!

This place was wonderful. The girls working in the shop below (where you get the keys) were great as well. The location was 10/10. Halfway out on the Homer Spit overlooking the bay. Wonderful sunsets. The spit was very walkable from this location. Highly recommended!

Chris and Marja are incredible hosts and Eagles Nest, absolutely magical! Surrounded by water, a short walk to picturesque Halibut Cove, and a kayak and hike to Gerwingk Glacier, its location and charm is second to none. Every detail was considered and we felt at home as soon as we arrived!

The view from the room was awesome, loved listening to the waves as we slept. Enjoyed our walks on the beach. Room was a good size for us. Also loved the Panini sandwich we got for lunch. Overall, was good spot for our 2 day stay.

Lovely cabin, was very clean and had everything needed and lots of extras. Really loved the bath tub and the fact that bathroom was fully stocked with bath salts and body scrubs. Also loved the home made cookies. Would stay here again. Thanks Gladys for making my weekend retreat so special!!

My girlfriend and I had an awesome stay at the chalet on the bluffs! The chalet was super clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Emily's place! It was simple, clean, easy to find, and perfectly located near everything we wanted to do on the Spit. We only stayed for one night, but we made the most of it. We took a relaxing walk on the beach right outside the apartment, then enjoyed an incredible dinner at Finn's Pizza, which is conveniently next door (seriously, the best pizza we've ever had!). The highlight was being able to bring our pizza back to enjoy on our private second-story deck while watching the sunset over Kachemak Bay. We wrapped up the evening with a short walk to the historic Salty Dawg Saloon. The beds were super comfortable, and we slept soundly. Overall, it’s a great spot on the Homer Spit, and we’d highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful from the living room and the location was an easy walk to a couple nice restaurants and down to the water. The layout of the home worked for our family of 4 adults. Miguel was very responsive and helpful when we had a question. We would stay again.

We loved the location of The Boardwalk Hotel although the weather did not cooperate (extremely windy) for us to be able to sit out and enjoy the patio and the view as much as we would’ve liked. We appreciated having the golf cart for a few hours in the evening to be able to check out the area. I was kind of surprised at the tip envelope for the cleaning ladies. We have never experienced that before since we pay a cleaning fee through Airbnb…. But of course, we then felt bad if we didn’t leave a tip. We loved the coffee and crêpes at the roasting company down the street as well as Jack and Avias for lunch! Our waitress was great! Super busy but still very friendly! Cute little town/ boardwalk.

Beautiful home for our family with two babies. It was very comfy and free of clutter for the little ones. The host was very friendly. The house had everything you could need. One thing though is that if you need to use the hose, the host needs to turn it on manually.

Location was amazing!! We were able to easily walk to the restaurants, bars, and the water taxi. This is a perfect jumping off spot for adventures in nature, or a night out. We loved our stay!

Super cool location and awesome host. Carmen was very accommodating and willing to assist in any way. Would definitely stay there again if we are planning a trip back to that area. Would be a challenge for anyone with a physical limitation or fear of steep terrain and not ideal for younger children. Overall an awesome spot with fantastic views!

Wow, what an incredible trip! I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I visited, but Stella was the nicest host ever. She gave me a wonderful tour of the Homestead, and I even got to explore her childhood home. For fans of the show, I had the amazing luck of meeting Otto—such a fluke, but I’m super thankful! If you enjoy the show or the Homestead life, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back next year!

Olesya was a joy to work with! She was very kind…met us at the property to welcome us and give us explicit information about the property. She was also very prompt with her responses to messages. Highly recommend!

The experience starts with a very unique well thought out home. Off the grid, yet fully equipped. Small, yet comfortable and welcoming. The location is as good as it gets, when we did nothing, we were charging our bodies and minds.. Activities starts with kayaking the calm water, with several destinations to explore. Visiting the town was very cool experience. Thank you Eric for sharing your home with us.

Fantastic property - hard to leave but we’ll be back. We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this is truly special. So much beauty and the property is gorgeous without being over the top. We feel like we really experienced Alaska in an authentic and non-touristy way. The Tidepool Cabin is fantastic. Beautiful views in every direction and so eclectic. Kristi, Julian, Tomas and Elliott were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate. The kayaking was spectacular and daily interaction with sea otters and eagles was incredible. Thank you Kristi for a most excellent adventure!!!!!!!

Our family of 5 and an infant stayed and enjoyed every minute. House is beautiful, view is absolutely stunning, there is a lot to do on the premises and in surrounding area. We spent a lot of time walking beaches and boardwalks of spit area, incredible hiking using the water taxi, caught a lot of fish, and crossed many items off of our list. Even though we didn’t use fire pit, it looks awesome. Home is clean and very well stocked. Connie was great to work with - highly recommend!!

This is an incredibly unique place to stay. we visited for two nights and had dinner at the Saltry. we rented kayaks, explored the island and had a wonderful family vacation

Notably spectacular views and setting. Great layout for a large group and easy access to many surrounding activities and walks.

I booked a night stay for my folks over Christmas Weekend. They made it smooth for me to add them to the reservation for a easy check-in. Always appreciate the people at Lands End.
