The home was clean and very inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The hosts were welcoming and available to answer questions but not intrusive. We really enjoyed staying at Jane’s cottage and would be happy to return there on a future visit. We loved the cottage’s location on a beautiful tropical garden site, which provided a tranquil, quiet respite from the touristy beach scenes at each end of the day. All of the cottage’s living spaces are spacious, including the large covered deck/lanai. Jane was easy to communicate with at all stages and always responded promptly. The host’s house book included a great set of recommendations for different types of activities — describing their top 3 favorites for hikes, beaches, restaurants, special excursions, etc. — all of which enabled us to have a really terrific stay on the big island. Thank you!!

Naomi’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. The lanai is an exotic and fun feature and the house is full of character. Tropical frogs serenade at night time while the morning starts with beautiful bird song and a view of the ocean. Meanwhile, beaches, restaurants, and shops are only a 5-10 minute drive away. When you stay in the house though, you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of day to day life. I stayed here with my wife, two young children, and in-laws. It was a fantastic time and I will always remember it!

We had a wonderful four days at Jill's Mermaid Studio. Jill was out of town but Jason and Brian helped us with our every need. We enjoyed her friendly cats and chickens that greeted us in the yard. The outside shower is really cool! We walked the path to watch the sunset each evening. Manini Beach just a couple minutes walk around the corner is maintained by local conservation group so is super clean, and has an easy spot to get in the water to snorkel. We rented a kayak from Ehu and Kai ($80 for a double ocean kayak for 5 hours) to paddle over and snorkel at the Captain Cook Monument. If you want to do this it is very easy to sign up and pay right on their website and meet them at the landing just a block from Jill's place (other direction from beach). They provide a dry bag and life vests. Rent snorkel gear from them or bring your own. You can't land the kayak at the monument so you just pull it around behind you with a rope while you snorkel which was no big deal.

We loved our stay! The had a group of 10 an infant. The place was beautiful and peaceful retreat even though it’s only a 15 min or so drive to the downtown area and Costco. We loved the morning coffees Kyle prepped for us and the game room downstairs. They had all beach equipment needed for the trip as well which was helpful! We saw some posts about hosts living on site and did not know what to expect. Kyle and Maza were the best! They provided local recommendations, gave us a tour of the property, and were there if we needed anything. They were unobtrusive throughout our stay but there when we needed them. Would definitely stay again!

This place was great. Awesome views, perfectly clean, and the host was more than accommodating with you little guy going out if their way to make sure they had high chairs, pack and plays and everything we needed. they were great. highly recommend. thank you

Tim's place is a beautiful oasis in Hawaii. We spent 10 days enjoying the island having this place as our hub was wonderful. The home is huge! When we were not doing things out in the island we were relaxing at the pool or the hot tub checking out the sunset. We woke up on the deck drinking coffee in the super comfy seating looking out at the ocean. This home was perfect for our family as I love to cook. The kitchen is well stocked and I was able to make all of our meals meals with no problem at all. I really loved that Tim provided snorkeling gear as we were about 30ish minutes away from 2 step beach. Tim was a great host and was always on top of any questions we had, we felt right at home.

We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The house was well-suited for our family and had a convenient location, not too far from downtown, making it easy to get around. The kitchen was well stocked, which was helpful for our meals. We also appreciated the lovely outside sitting areas where we could enjoy the Hawaiian mornings with our coffee. There was also plenty of beach items to use and play with! Overall, this property met our expectations for a comfortable family stay. We would recommend it to others looking for a practical option in the area.

We had a great time staying here! The location is right up the mountain from the busy crowed, 10-15 mins drive to downtown and beaches. Loved drinking our morning coffee on the porch and hear the birds. The place is clean and has everything we needed, nice kitchen setup which you can cook a whole meal, we used the grill one night and it worked perfectly. Beautiful home! Thank you!!

we were very happy with our stay. The unit was quiet and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything that we needed. There were several pools at the complex and a fitness area which was great. Across the street there was another resort (outrigger) with 2 restaurants and they also had a market on weds and friday with other options for food and drinks ! The grocery store was only a 5 min drive away and there was also a couple of restaurants near there. Downtown is about a 20 min drive. There wasn't much for beach access or walking paths near here so that is just something to note if you really like that. There was a waterfront walking path near the outrigger but it is short and it was closed during our stay because of the big waves. Other than that, it was perfect.

Mary was a quick to respond and very helpful! Her place was in a good location and had lots of amenities! We would definitely come back!

We loved the two bedroom condo. Our hosts must have spent a lot of money updating the inside. I knew I was staying in a home with all the required amenities. There were a few helpful extras like beach chairs, large beach towels, and water shoes for walking on the lava. The kitchen had extras like a home - garlic press, skewers, ziplock bags. We loved sitting on the deck morning and night watching the surfers enter and exit. A special treat in January was watching the whales breach! We would stay here again in an instant.

This place was perfect for my family of four. The unit was very clean, very spacious and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The pool areas at the resort were great and not crowded. Staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Tim was able to arrange this place for us very last minute and all went very smooth. Would definitely stay here again.
