Great condo stay in Kona. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with all that you could need. Exactly as described. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our time in David’s beautiful condo. The setting and views were so peaceful and the location was just a short drive from lots of restaurants and places to shop. David was a very responsive and gracious host. We appreciated his detailed instructions and recommendations. I would highlight for other potential guests that the condo complex is geared towards more of an adult community so there are additional rules regarding pool use and expectations of observing quiet hours in common areas but that was not a concern for us as our children are older (14 & 12). We would happily stay again!

Wonderful location, condo was clean and had a lot of amenities. We did have a few questions upon checkin and it took almost 24 hours to receive a reply. Thankfully it was anything urgent and we were able to get into the unit. The vertical blinds need repair or replacement. Several pieces were missing so no real privacy. Difficult to open and close. There is no toaster, when I asked I was told it broke. Bed seems like a Queen size. Realized that is not mentioned in the description. If I had known I would have booked something else. There are a lot of HOA rules to follow, provided in the binder of instructions. Otherwise overall it is nice and clean.

This place is a hidden gem! For the price of staying here it’s beyond worth it! This is a Wyndham property that has some units that were sold and get airbnb out. You get full access to all the properties amenities. There are grills with propane on property which made it easy to make food and save some $$$ instead of always eating out, also the kitchen had everything, every appliance, extra condiments, bags, foil and soooooo much more!!! This is the place to stay, property has security patrolling as well, our kids and us enjoyed it. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Beautiful condo, lots going for it, almost as advertised. I was most happy to find some staples in the fridge and cupboards as groceries on the island are expensive. The winding staircase is very steep, I would not feel safe with younger children. The twin beds are not full size twins. My adult children said their feet hung over the edge of bed, and the blankets were not suitable, it was a 4' throw, not a blanket. I also feel for the cost I should not have to launder, dry and fold my towels before I check out at 10 am. We went to bed our last night with the noisy washing machine going. And no fault of the owners, but the exercise room is dank and run down, not an uplifting room to spend any time in at all. I would stay here again as most of the other highlights outweigh the negatives, but there is some room for improvement as well.

I felt so at home here; the house was very clean and a relaxing space to be in! I loved everything about this place, and would stay here again.

I've been to kona 3 times now and this by far was the best place out of all in terms of location and the host in general. The attention to detail was spot on. The location is close to everything, very central. the condo is well equipped with condiments, beach gear, dishes, towels and everything you need to have a perfect vacation without breaking the bank on the extras. The pool was a hit for us forsure along with the games room downstairs. The host literally went above and beyond for us to accommodate our late departure of our flights. The condo was so great and we enjoyed every minute of being there. It is truly a great value and a great experience. The welcome wine was such a thoughtful touch along with the responsiveness of the host, we would definitely stay at this condo again.

This condo was wonderful! Please be aware that the unit is a second-story walk-up, with no elevator. This was not a problem for us but could be for someone else. Overall, we were so pleased with our stay here! The condo was large and very clean, with an extremely well-appointed kitchen. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and so many toiletries and other supplies (laundry detergent, paper plates, Ziploc bags, etc.) were provided. A binder of helpful recommendations and directions was provided. Parking was right outside. Guests do need to submit a registration form to the property's main office within 24 hours of arrival (note: this paper is not in the binder, but rather at the main office). The second bedroom is off of the living room, separated by a moveable partition-- be aware for noise-sensitive sleepers. The provided beach supplies are plentiful! Truly a wonderful space with thoughtful caretakers.

Loved this resort and David’s place was the perfect space for my family and I!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kona Coast Resort! The apartment was spacious and clean, perfect location, and we loved the quiet pool and hot tub. Check in/out was easy and smooth. Only issue was the housekeepers showed up about 20 mins before checkout and were rushing us to get moving. We were pretty much on our way out the door already and it's no fault of the Airbnb host. We would definitely book again through Kalven for our next trip!

Very comfortable place, not exactly on the beach but with a car it’s only a 20-30 min drive from the best beaches on Big Island. At a price you can’t beat! Isaac was very hospitable, made us coffee in the morning The place does look rustic but it only makes you feel more like you’re a local on the island

We had a fabulous stay! There were 6 adults with 2 little ones (1.5 and 3.5 years). The home was roomy and bigger than the pictured. We all were amazed at the home and ocean views. The kids had plenty of room to play. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The beach toys were put to good use. The hot tub got used once. There was parking for 3 cars. All in all, the home worked out so well, I would rent it again!

We were a party of 7 traveling to Kona for a swim meet. Lodging in Kona can be quite expensive so we felt staying somewhere we could cook would help with expenses - and it did! We chose this unit because it was actually quite a bit cheaper than others of similar description and distance from the pool and the airport. It was VERY spacious and allowed us to cook every meal, do laundry, and allow our kids to have space just to hang out - and for us to do the same - without getting in each other’s way. The kitchen was fully stocked, even having some basic - and not so basic - pantry spices! The unit also has a LOT of baby stuff - some diapers to get you to the beach posthaste, high chair, dining booster chair, all sorts! There are also items to help you tidy up of you’ve had a spill - vacuum cleaner, broom, swiffer, Clorox wipes. We really wanted for absolutely nothing - well , except foil and ziploc bags, but obviously that can be had at any nearby store! And hey, we left some for you!

Megan and her husband were warm, welcoming, and great hosts. This is definitely a family business and feels like being invited to stay over at a family or friend’s house. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. I highly recommend staying with them if you’re looking to feel right at home.

In a quiet residential street, walking distance to the beach. Well equipped house, and well screened by bushes/trees from neighbors, so sitting on lanai was great. The agency was proactive in communicating and responded quickly to any questions. All in all the perfect place for what we needed.

I rented both units to celebrate my 50th birthday with my girlfriends and it was amazing! The view was spectacular and the pool and hot tub was amazing! The gym is well-appointed and was perfect for the private yoga class I booked. So good that I hesitate to leave a review so I can keep this place a secret! It is quite an expensive house to book, but well worth the $$.
