Sandford is an excellent host and communicates well. When he didn't have what we had requested he was ready with a suitable substitute and allowed us the choice on whether to switch our reservation criteria. I like being offered solutions, not just "no." And, the accommodation was very nice.

I have to say the home was impeccable clean and the accommodations very comfortable. The staff at the facility we’re available for any needs from fresh towels and information about excursions. I would stay here again without hesitation..

Sanford was clear and communicative on directions, check-in, and all other details. I couldn't get on to the personal wifi my first night, so I had to purchase a 24-hour card through the building. Sanford found out about this and reimbursed me immediately. The room is a short walk/car ride from the heart of Kona. Was clean, in nice condition, and comfortable. Fit 4 people without a problem. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Kona.

I didn’t realize this was a resort until check-in, but it turned out to be an awesome surprise. What really made the stay special was the staff—everyone was so kind and helpful. A big shout-out to Ismail, our concierge, who truly went above and beyond. He was friendly, professional, and gave us amazing recommendations that really improved our trip. You can tell he cares about making sure guests have the best experience possible. The resort also has an activity desk where you can easily book tours and excursions, which was super convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable with a king-size bed, and the sofa bed was a good size too. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Thanks again to Ismail and the team—we’ll definitely be back!

General timeshare booking so hosts are not involved much, you deal with the resort basically after time of booking. The price was good, resort itself could use some updates in rooms and upkeep around the property in places but overall I would stay again. Location was great quiet but close to main Kona town.

Great location if you want to be in the heart of the action. The pool area was clean and refreshing after a day of playing in the sun.

The location was great; close enough to downtown that we could walk or take a 3-4 minute Uber ride. The kitchen, bedrooms, and patio were perfect. Two really nice pool areas overlooking the ocean, one with kids, one without. Parking was great and made it easy to get around.

Kalven was super nice and responsive, we were very happy with him as our host! As the Kona Coast Resort is a Wyndham / Shell Vacations property the checkin was done with Wyndham staff on site and in that sense we had nothing more to do with Kalven. Regarding the Wyndham property, Kona Coast Resort: brown brown brown, everything brown! The place seriously needs updating, it's super old, but it was clean, very spacious and a pleasant place to stay. 2 good swimming pools and a wonderful view from the main reception. Kona is generally a very expensive place to stay, this was no exception but it was pleasant. Thanks Kalven!

Overall the stay was excellent. The improvement needed is the address. Address should direct to Wyndham Vacation Resorts. After a long flight we got lost for 30 minutes because the Airbnb app didn’t have the correct address.

We had an enjoyable stay and made full use of the room’s facilities, as well as the pools and walking paths around the property. The scenery is beautiful, and the location was perfect for my trip, which was for the IM WC 2024.

Great spot. close to everything we needed. would love to stay there again
