Our family of 6 absolutely loved staying here. It is comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing, and a really unique and special experience to stay on a coffee plantation. Kendall was so friendly and accommodating, and he grows the most delicious coffee beans, which you can purchase and have delivered during your stay. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with necessities. The home is beautiful and the property is breathtaking. Our experience and the memories we made will always be some of our favorites. Minh’s place is a treasure! The location looking over the ocean is breathtaking. We had the best sleep in months with the doors open and hearing the waves. Whales swam by a few times and walking to the beach was good exercise. I plan to return.

We had the dream family trip of a lifetime. The kids loved the pool—morning, noon and evening except when we went off on adventures. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of a rocky beach. The house was roomy and well stocked with two large, long dining tables, one indoors and the other on an enclosed porch outdoors. Perfect for family dining. Joe and Anna were lovely hosts, pleasant and informative. We’d definitely recommend this home to anyone.

The property was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids, with plenty of beds for the group , a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a fully screened balcony that is overlooking the ocean. The property is close to downtown Kona, the airport, and Costco which was a plus. Jenne was very responsive, provided clear guidance and included thoughtful touches, ensuring a welcoming and accommodating stay. We'd love to come back and stay here on a future vacation.

This is an amazing home. Best described as a quiet and peaceful setting with some of the best ocean and sunset views anywhere. A short drive from great beaches and national parks. Both the host and the local property contact are knowledgeable, responsive, and great to work with. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful home that feels like a private oasis. It’s a short walk through a path to Magic Sands Beach. All the provided beach gear made it super easy to pack up for beach days. The AC units work great in all the rooms. The master takes a little longer to cool down but we had a fan which helped it get cool faster. It’s a great home which fit our 6 comfortably.

Have stayed here several times in different units. It works well for us. If you find older reviews complaining about the water pump being loud its no longer an issue. It was updated recently.

Great place to stay close to captain cook and other attractions. The suite was well thought out and nicely furnished with all the beach amenities which is a great plus!

I really enjoyed my stay at Jon and Mariluz’s place. From start to finish, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The home was spotless, quiet, and peaceful, with a beautiful view that made my stay even more special. The bed was super comfortable, and I had some of the best, deepest sleep during my time there. What I loved most was the perfect balance of being close to town and the beach while still enjoying a quiet and serene atmosphere. Jon and Mariluz also shared amazing suggestions for places to visit, which made exploring the area even better. Anything extra I needed, they provided with warmth and kindness. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with wonderful hosts!

We began our 17 day tour of the big island at Dennis (Max) place and ended our island time on his property in a different unit. Both were excellent. 1000 ft elevation so out of the desert heat of Kailua- Kona. 15 minutes from the airport up the mountain in a neighborhood. We appreciated having a kitchen and ability to create a meal there. Bed was comfy and linens were lovely.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

We travel frequently with our teenage/ adult kids using Airbnb or other home rental services. We've only come upon a handful of hosts and homes that really seem to understand the needs of the traveler. Priscilla and Rob's home is one of them! I unfortunately did not get to meet Priscilla on this trip, but Rob went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and yet also give us our privacy. The home is clean, organized and has all the essentials and more to make meals, and enjoy your time. The hosts provided a lovely welcome gift of food items for breakfast and snacks, as well as some beautiful produce items. If you know how expensive groceries are in Hawaii, it tells a lot about the generosity and caring of the hosts. Thank you Rob and Priscilla for a wonderful week! We made wonderful memories.

Lopaka’s place was absolutely wonderful for our first trip to Kona! The instruction is super clear about how to find the place and how to park. We did snorkeling/swimming at Kona and we were able to the laundry which was amazing! Waking up in the morning was fabulous with nice ocean view, singing birds. There are great coffee shops which was less than 5 mins walk. Highly recommended the place and will definitely come back next time to the Big Island!

A great place to stay!! Beautiful location, and quiet. the only downside was there was very little space to set toiletries, suitcases, etc. It was still very well worth the stay, though, and we really enjoyed it!

Very beautiful home!!! Tons of amenities and space. Beds were super comfortable and tons of extra blankets and pillows. Amazing views from the lanai, super close to the ocean. The sounds of the waves was phenomenal. 10/10 would rent again and recommend!!

What a great find!!! Marco’s condo is everything as advertised & more! Beautiful view, quiet, clean, great new appliances. Location is easily walkable to all of Ali’i Drive. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the paddlers, parasailers, and surfers. Complex has a fantastic pool & hot tub that are immaculately maintained. We miss it already!

This place was neat and clean. The kitchen was stocked with many of the things we needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. We really loved sitting on the lanai having our morning coffee as the sun came up. This place is on the west side of the island so we were able to catch a couple of beautiful sunsets as well. There were a lot of places to see and do in the town nearby. It is within walking distance but there is no sidewalk so at times it felt safer to drive there. We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy Hawaii.
