Great location in South Bay. Really nice to be on the less touristy side of the peninsula. We had a very enjoyable stay in Joey’s comfortable and interesting house. The upstairs lounge is a great space to relax and enjoy the fantastic view. Thanks for having us Joey.

Very spacious home with everything we needed. Spectacular mountain views made even more stunning by the snow that fell during the first night we were there. Great to have wood stove which we used the first morning we awoke because the temperature had dipped to 12c! Lots of extra blankets in the hall cupboard for which we were most grateful. Too bad we booked only two nights - certainly worth a longer stay (and, due to the size of the house, with more people!) Highly recommend Gerhard’s place.

A beautifully renovated older beach house. Large, comfortable with all that would be needed for a great stay be it long or short. Close to the town centre and access road yet quiet and peaceful. Thoroughly recommended.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and Susie’s place is at the top of our favorites list. The location, the structure, design, decor, layout and all the lovely goodies come together in a perfect package. The house offers complete privacy and spectacular views of the mountains. We can’t wait to return!

This was an excellent weekend away location, the home was so inviting and clean. I would totally recommend this to others. Each of the bedrooms was well set out. Lots of utensils in the kitchen, Spa was awesome! It was great to have the privacy of your own bathroom in each bedroom! Thanks so much!!!

Bon‘s house is spacious and right on the beach, with walking distance to Kaikoura town centre. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms clean. As mentioned by others, the place could use a few touch-ups and the lounge furniture is a little dated, but the photos are accurate and we slept really well. Good value for money!

A comfortable, clean little house with two bedrooms and a kitchen. Peaceful and well located for exploring the Kaikoura area.

Fiona’s place was simply perfect. It was beautiful , clean, and right on the water. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. The apartment had every amenity you could possibly want, including toys and books that our kids loved. Fiona was an incredible host, she was home during our stay, introduced herself and gave us local recommendations. She was so friendly and our kids loved her and her 2 charming dogs! This was the perfect location to explore kaikoura, in walking distance from both the downtown shops and dining in the north bay and the seal colony and walk along the South Bay. The stay was one of the nicest and cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. We would love to stay here again and would 100% recommend it.

Had the best stay, the place is modern and clean with the best views of the ocean and mountains.

The apartment was excellent very comfortable and clean. Poppy was very welcoming and helpful. We had a ground floor apartment but if you can get a first floor apt with a sea view.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Lage war gut. Zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Es war sauber und man hatte genügend Platz. Michelle war sehr freundlich. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen

The accommodations were just as described and comfortable. Centrally located and within walking distance of city center. Washer and dryer do require change, and they are single units, so plan accordingly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Christine's place. We had very wet weather both days but Kaikoura is utterly charming. Christine's place is light and airy, walkable to the seal colony and a hop and a skip from the old whale station. The views are fabulous even in awful weather and on our last morning when the sun shone they were spectacular. Its also quiet and peaceful at night. Christine was the perfect host and we would most definitely stay here again if we ever return.

Probably the best property we have ever stayed at, a gem with delightful retro ambiance and a view from the sofa to die for: advise book soon before the growing jungle obscures it! The lock required a knack to open and twice we had to contact the host to help, he replied promptly each time but if he had not been immediately available then would have been REAL problem: needs sorting asap! But a great stay!
