A lovely spot to stay on a very busy weekend. Walking distance to the beach and close to the action when we wanted it to be. Clean and tidy and good amenities. Good communication and clear instructions helped a lot.

Abby’s property is a gem. The space is very relaxing and inviting. It has a lot of character and you can tell it is well loved and taken care of. Abby did an excellent job communicating with us and walked us through the spa and sauna directions. I could easily spend many days just enjoying the space they have here. Thanks again!

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

We had a brilliant stay, thank you! We really appreciated the earlier check in to accommodate our wedding collection bus. The view from the house was just spectacular- I only wish we had more time to enjoy it.

While we enjoyed our stay, the photos in the listing are inaccurate and make the property look much more light, airy & modern. Sadly for us (as we chose it due to the modern/contemporary photos) the modern/contemporary looking furniture has been replaced with more traditional heavier & darker furniture (most noticeably in the living room, kitchen & dining room). The listing also states that guests have access to all the rooms in the property and we did not have access to one of the rooms as it was locked from the inside. On a positive note, the location is very peaceful, quiet & a few minutes walk to town. We also hiked from the property without having to drive anywhere and park, which was great … the jacuzzi/spa is clean and was much appreciated after hiking. There is a good amount of space inside & out and for the 2 of us, was ideal for self-catering for a few days. The cheese, crackers, cherries, wine, fresh coffee & breakfast items were a very kind thought and much appreciated.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus für große Familien mit Kindern! Es ist alles da, was man braucht, um einen schönen Urlaub zu haben. Viel Platz, ein toller Pool, vollausgestattete Küche und alles sehr sauber. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen. Ebenso ist man schnell am Strand. Vielen Dank für alles!

Extremely beautiful place. We were wowed by the views when we got to the apartment. The apartment itself is perfect for returning to after a day out to chill and watch the sun go down in the hot tub. We will definitely be back.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

Wir haben die Unterkunft von Russel und Naomi als erste Station nach unserem langen Flug aus Europa für ein tolles Ankommen in Neuseeland ausgesucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht: Das Haus liegt absolut traumhaft und schon morgens kann man einen tollen Spaziergang am Strand machen! Die Unterkunft selbst ist unfassbar liebevoll ausgestattet und die Gastgeber legen absoluten Fokus darauf, dass sich ihre Gäste wohl fühlen! Wenn man gerne kocht hat die Küche so ungefähr alles, was es braucht, um ein tolles Essen zuzubereiten - oder man macht ein tolles BBQ! Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Start für unsere Reise in Neuseeland wünschen können...

We recently stayed at Jenny’s house with extended family, overall we had a fantastic time. The house has unbeatable views, is well stocked with the basics, and the pool/hot tub were great. It is also a very quick drive to Hot Water beach and Hahei. Jenny was also very responsive and a wonderful host. We would certainly go back for another stay.

Amazing view, the only recommendation is to get a car if you don’t like the hills to walk to the villa other than that, it was amazing and the hot tub was awesome

Highly recommend staying at La Maison - our whole family had such an enjoyable stay. The house and surrounds are truly private and peaceful. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful view and comfortable stay. Delicious brownies when we arrived really hit the spot after a long day of driving.

Kitchen facilities had everything we needed for a night in to cook and dine overlooking a the most fantastic view. Our host even made our stay extra special with a selection of home baked snacks, including pre made s'mores ready for roasting over the fire pit. We loved the selection of coffee options from Raglan roast to accompany a great morning continental breakfast. The hot tub was amazing to soak in under the stars. Such an amazing little retreat!

Wonderful little accomodation that is perfectly suitable for two people. Very clean, gorgeous location with a fantastic addition of a hot tub. Accomodation has everything that one could need all at a great price. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which we are very grateful for. Despite no assigned parking, we had no trouble parking the car right outside the accomodation on the road— so don’t let the no parking deter you. Thank you again for hosting us!

Used to come here heaps as a kid and has always been such a great place to stay. Facilities are always clean and great location :)
