Loved our stay here! Lovely big house, great for large families & gatherings. Close to the beach and lovely neighbourhood & very close still to waihi beach. NZ bach vibes :)

Beautiful place, close to the waterfront and wharf-side restaurants and trails. Owners did a great job communicating with us. Lovely, light-filled home in a quiet neighborhood.

Jessica's place was amazing, loved the outdoor space to sit after a busy day with a beer. Easy couple of minutes stroll to the town & beach which is absolutely amazing. Very clean, very comfortable beds, great shower. Would definitely recommend to a friend and come back!

The stay was awesome! The location is perfect—within walking distance to everything: Lost Springs, supermarkets, and the beach. The house is clean and well-maintained. It is suitable for long stays. The hosts were very nice. Thank you, guys, for making our holiday enjoyable and hassle-free. We definitely recommend this house and will definitely come back next time!

We loved Suzy's place and it's gorgeous surroundings. The view is stunning and it's a quick walk to the beach. Highly recommend to all.

We love staying here! It’s our second time and we’ll be back again as soon as we can. Terry is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a very central location and is walking distance to main street. There is also safe off road parking. The house is stunning and I love the pieces of art work displayed around the place. We all appreciated the games cupboard and our parents loved the book selection. The new air fryer is a wonderful addition too!

We really enjoyed our stay here in beautiful Waihi! the location is very central, a short 2 min walk to the beach at the end of the street. We had 6x adults and loved that it was dog friendly so were able to bring our 2x dogs. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The large deck area was also great, it was a perfect fit! Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at a classic kiwi batch by the beach!

A lovely, fully equipped home. Everything needed was supplied. Loved the spa and private outdoor area. Nice outdoor shower, with hot water, after being at the beach which was a short walk from the property. Close to shops and weekend markets. Children loved the well-stocked toy cupboard. Really enjoyed our stay. Would go back again.

Great place to stay. Close to bus stops and easy to get around without a car. Awesome hosts, even getting the place ready for earlier than expected check in. Highly recommended.

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

This place is right in the middle of the town centre so we didn't feel the need to bring a car over. Everything was at the door step. The place was very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning and hearing the waves crashing against the rocks. The host is responsive and provided us with all the information we needed before our stay. Would love to stay again :)

Wow, I’m so glad I chose to stay here during my time on the peninsula. Murial and Evan were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering just the right balance of hospitality and space to relax and unwind. They shared great local tips on places to visit and how to avoid the tourist crowds, which made my trip even more enjoyable. The space itself was perfect - spacious, clean, and peaceful. I even heard kiwis one night, which was such a special experience! It truly was a wonderful stay and made it hard to leave when the time came.

Absolutely incredible. We had the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. Rozelle is a really lovely person and host who goes above and beyond with your stay with her kindness, responsiveness, detailed recommendations, thoughtfulness and helpfulness. The views are something from a postcard and the fact that you can see these from every room is spectacular. The peace, quite, and beauty is absolute bliss. The bus route is right there so it’s easy to get places and there is also a more coastal walk that you can do to Oneroa which is beautiful and not too strenuous. The accommodation is wonderful. It has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. You felt that you had luxury throughout. Highly recommend :). Thank you for a perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Great place to stay, thanks for all your hospitality

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It was spacious indoors. Sitting outside with a cold drink taking in the view and watching tuis, quail and fantails was great. We made use of the barbecue and washing machine. Kitchen area was compact. Alan the host was welcoming and gave us good tips on things to do.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.

Totally recommend. Lovely comfortable apartment with beautiful view and quiet. Very Clean. Nicola provides very much every we need, coffee, milk, cutlery. Only 1 minutes walk to bus stop and 5 minutes walk to Palm beach, local restaurant and local grocery shop. The beach is amazingly beautiful and people go there swim all day. Definitely love to go back and stay there again.

So happy with this accommodation, just wish I had remembered it didn't come with sheets and towels... but that was my fault. I would absolutely stay here again. :)
