Loved my 2 nights at Batley The Bach is well equipped with everything required for a peaceful restful stay without the distraction of TV etc. Loved the low tide walks around the coast, the birdlife and jumping fish! 'Love at the end of the road' book gives an insightful look into the interesting history of the area. Thank you Rae and Rex for sharing this magical secret spot.

A special tranquil gem with lakeside access! A very private and quiet place to ‘just relax’ and recharge. I had a fantastic nights sleep and sat outside in the morning sun enjoying my breakfast. Chloe the Lab popped by to make sure I was all settled in (beautiful). The place is very well set up, well equipped and so very private and relaxing. Thank you Christa & Hank. This house was absolutely perfect for our needs. A great location just a short stroll from a stunning beach. We like that there are no shops etc in Lang's Beach but still plenty to do with kyaks and boogie boards provided by the host as well as keys to the local private tennis courts. The layout of the house makes it perfect for families travelling with older children with a large rumpus/bedroom space upstairs and two double bedrooms downstairs. Lots of deck space for outdoor living set amongst beautiful native bush. The interior of the house is a little tired but perfectly clean and comfortable. Liz was a fantastic host. Very responsive with clear instructions.

Beautiful and well-kept place! Catherine was amazingly helpful and responsive and was able to adjust our booking when our flights got cancelled and shifted the dates of our stay. Extremely peaceful and a great deal all around, we hope to visit and stay again in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin—the view was nice, and we truly enjoyed our time here. It was a great escape from the city. James was very helpful and responded quickly. Our puppy absolutely loved it too! He explored the cabin right away and had a blast chasing his ball in the open area. We recommend it for both humans and furry friends!

Absolutely stunning location for some R&R time away from the hustle and bustle. Minimal reception which meant that you could completely relax without distractions. Also 10/10 host, will definitely be back hoping to stay in the other accomodation options at Wild Escape

We were looking for a stop over somewhere between stops that would cut the distance having to drive on any particular day. The Nest was perfect, set just off SH1 north of Auckland it was an ideal stop over. There is as much or as little to do locally and some great options to eat out or as we did dined sat on the balcony taking in the wonderful view and waiting for the odd fleeting visit from a Fantail or two. It was such a relaxing space and we were blessed with a clear night so stargazing was a real treat. This is a wonderful location to recharge batteries and chill !

We had a lovely 2 night stay - quiet, private and tranquil with beautiful views of rolling hills and paddocks. Kelly is an excellent communicator and swift to assist. Everything is as described; the listing descriptions are well-crafted with honesty and integrity. Happy to have found this place and would recommend to others!

We only stayed one night, but arrived late to a very cosy, uniquely tranquil cottage. You enter a beautifully wood scented and spacious room that has everything you need for a short or longer stay. We would certainly come back here again!

Peaceful Getaway by the Waves If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this is the perfect place. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure bliss. Even when the weather didn’t go as planned, it was still such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Ian was absolutely great—always available and quick to help with anything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a serene break!

We stayed at Anne’s lovely cottage for three nights and enjoyed every minute of it . The beds are super comfy so we slept like a dream. The location is beautiful. Nicely nestled into the hill over looking the bay and only a short stroll to the beach and a short drive to the other beautiful bays in the area. The cottage has an everything you need and is spotlessly clean. I haven’t relaxed so much in ages. I think the giant bed with the gorgeous view has a lot to do with it . Anne is super lovely too. Perfect for us in every way.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Carolyn. Die Aussicht lässt sich am besten vom Whirlpool genießen und ist einfach unschlagbar. Auch die süße Katze Lucky hat uns ganz verzaubert. Wir kommen sicher noch einmal vorbei.

This place is a perfect getaway. It has everything you need. Full kitchen, grill, king size bed. The place is very comfortable. You can take kayaks and paddle around or go to the great remote beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nirvana and can't wait to get back for a weekend sometime in the near future. Everything is as described - great bed, aircon, great wifi, privacy, quiet. If you're looking to get out of city and into the country for a bit of RnR, this is the spot! Big bonus is that Vinkal's place is well located for days trips, hikes, beaches, and Whangārei isn't too far either! Brilliant!
