This is my family 2nd visit in this lovely house & the location is perfect for close by families. The 1st visit was last year 2023 & due to my medical condition, I was not able to come on that trip, but my family mention that it was a house that we can call home. It was my 1st visit and now I see why they say this is home. Thanks to the host for making it possible for my family to check in early. Hope all is well with the host & in the future if possible & be able to return would be great.

Great place to stay, central in Mangawhai Heads, walking distance from town shops. Happy to book here again.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful space, really loved that the place had all the things required to cook food. We had a long stay and it definitely felt like a home away from home. It's close proximity to the beach made for lovely runs in the morning. Already hoping to book again on my next trip back home with the family

Sarah’s home sits in a stunning location. When you walk in the view of the ocean and the bay by Palm Beach and the sailboats against the shimmering water and huge sky is just unforgettable. The house is big and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The salt water pool is the perfect temperature and the hot tub is hot and warms you up after swimming. The walking track is right in front of the house. It’s on a steep drive but it’s centrally located on Waiheke and easy enough to get everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. Eigentlich wollte ich „nur“ 4 Sterne geben - leider haben am Anfang die Außenbäder nicht funktioniert, es waren ein paar Schäden vorhanden (z.B. lockere Badezimmerarmaturen) und am Boden lagen ein paar tote Insekten, in den Ecken nicht wenige Spinnweben und der Grill funktionierte nicht richtig (Anzünder defekt). Die zwei Feuerzeuge waren beide leer bzw. defekt. Allerdings hat sich Ricky so gut wie möglich darum gekümmert - es kam jemand und hat die Bäder repariert (die Batterie des Durchlauferhitzers war leer) und ein neues Feuerzeug für den Grill gebracht. Außerdem ist das Haus halt schon sehr geil. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer und die Garage hat auch mehrere nette Spielmöglichkeiten. Unserer 2,5 jährigen Tochter hat es super gefallen. Die Küche war an sich sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das entschädigt dann für die zuerst genannten Kleinigkeiten 👍🏻

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

We had a great stay, the house was very nice with great views. It had everything we needed and was a very relaxing stay. The only thing worth noting is the driveway is very very steep & we had to walk down to meet the taxi van but our cars were able to make it up the driveway.

The place is beautiful and the view spectacular. It's walking distance to beach. Also it's adjacent/within a 'resort' with restaurant and pool, staff, so you have plenty of support and amenities. It's across the bus stop, which comes in handy because taxi fares on the island are astronomical but public transportation is punctual and efficient.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

The place is amazing, very large living area with many very clean and decently spaced rooms. I wasn’t aware of the 5-10 minute gravel road the house is on. Daniel was amazing at communicating when I need to get in touch with him however the packing up procedure could have been outlined better, but other than that the four informative emails sent outlined everything needed for our stay. The view is just as amazing in person as the photos both sunrise and sunset, especially lounging in the spa.

Wow what a beautiful place! We were looking to get away for a weekend quite last minute and appreciated the quick response to our inquiry. We got clear instructions on how to self check in and found the place spotlessly clean. Comfy bed, beautiful surroundings and overall just a gorgeous place. Thank you for having us, highly recommend.

This house was absolutely incredible! The photos honestly didn’t do it justice it was just massive and the pool with the stunning view was a dream. The projector was also such a great touch and our guests had a lot of fun watching music videos and doing karaoke in the large room. Daisy’s communication was great throughout the process too. My only feedback would be there wasn’t enough basic kitchen items such as larger plates and platters for cheese boards or any salt, pepper and sugar that we could see so would suggest bringing your own! But apart from that super minor inconvenience everything else was incredible and everyone had an amazing time! Would love to return some day!

This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back! Thank you very much Rosie ❤️ The kitchen is large and well appointed, with a big gas stove & oven.

We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

Whhhhhat a place! The fire pit, the tub outside, the sunset over the hills, the comfortable bed and stunning bathroom with waterfall shower! Incredible place, saving for the future!

We had the most relaxing stay in this beautiful cabin. Rebekah was a friendly and responsive host. The cabin had everything we needed and is so thoughtfully designed. Our highlights were having a bath under the stars and feeding the chickens! Definitely would recommend this stay if you're looking to disconnect and relax.

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!
