The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Great host, responsive. Nice place in bentota about 5 minutes from the beach. I arrived late due to changes in plan and the host was flexible and accommodating. Thank you for booking the taxi too

One of our best holidays . The place was so peaceful and beautiful. The host Isuri and caretaker Shelton are really nice and helpful. We had a very relaxing weekend with our friends. This is really a hidden gem in the busy town of Moratuwa . Thank you !

When planning my trip to the South Province of Sri Lanka I was looking for an authentic, calm, modern, clean and one of a kind accommodation. The BoBo's Cinnamon Estate Duwabedda met more then my expectations. I am still dreaming of the soft breeze, the shy smell of cinnamon, the peacocks who visited us before heading to the next lot (this time a rice field), the smooth awakening early in the morning (gentle prayers of the Buddhist monks from far away, early morning songs of the birds...), the lovely Ceylon tea, the host's topless tuk tuk that brought us to the sea side, Galle and other destinations, and so much more... Catrin and Bharatha were caring and loving hosts. They were present yet discreet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My stay at Priyanka's place was truly exceptional. The hosts were incredibly friendly, caring, and supportive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering thoughtful touches and local recommendations that made my experience even more special. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, and their genuine hospitality truly stood out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay with a personal and caring touch!

While the accommodation itself was perfect, the real selling point for this stay is the hosts. They are the most lovely hosts I’ve ever had, attending to all of our needs and very communicative. Please do yourself a favour and stay here! 10/10

Отдыхали на вилле у Луки и Морин с 18 по 28 февраля. Сразу скажу, вся их семья очень открытые, скромные, добрые, гостеприимные и порядочные люди. Это был наш первый визит в Азию, и быть пакетным туристом не хотелось, но и «дикарем» тоже, тем не менее, хотелось посмотреть на местную жизнь и быть ближе к природе. Изучив предложения и отзывы, выбрали их виллу, т.к. увидели «участие и поддержку» со стороны владельцев виллы. Отдых получился насыщенным и полным впечатлений. По пунктам: 1. Такси: сразу попросили хозяина организовать такси из аэропорта до виллы. Стоило 60$ (это стандартная стоимость такси из аэропорта на Шри Ланке), встретил нас приятный парень на иномарке. По приезду нас уже ждали хозяева виллы, они угостили нас свежим лимонадом из фруктов. Обратно тоже заказали такси. 2. Пляж. Морагала находится в 3-х минутах ходьбы. До пляжа Бентота можно было добраться только на тук-туке и мы просили Луки нас отвозить и забирать, что он делал бесплатно. Когда он не мог, он организовывал тук-тук и сам договаривался с водителем о стоимости. Например, стоимость от пляжа до виллы была около 200 рупий. А если заказывать самому, это стоило бы 350-400 рупий. 3. Покупки. Так как пешком далековато и идти вдоль дороги не совсем удобно, то когда нужно было в магазин, купить воду или фрукты, Луки всегда нас завозил или по пути с пляжа или вечером, в зависимости от его свободного времени. 4. Экскурсии. В рамках развлекательной программы был предложен список возможных экскурсий куда он может отвести. Опять же, когда он был свободен, отвозил он, когда времени не было, то он просил знакомых которые отвозили за небольшие деньги, по сравнению если ловить туктук самому. Все водители просто «отвозили, ждали» и не предлагали дополнительные экскурсии, в отличии от продавацов которые сразу заметив туриста подбегали. 4. Комната и Дом. Сам дом новый и ухоженный, много цветов. В комнате было чисто, новая мебель, белье и сантехника, хорошая большая кровать и матрас, москитная сетка. Близко к отельному интерьеру. Уборка комнаты, замена белья была раз в 5 дней. 5. Питание. Морин готовит превосходно! Очень вкусно и пытается использовать только свежие и полезные продукты. Все приборы и посуда чистые. Завтраки. Как оказалось, это было огромным плюсом. Каждый завтрак был «королевским» и начинался со стакана свежевыжатого сока / лимонада и заканчивался тарелкой свежих фруктов. Было супер-сытно и что-то оставалось на полдник. Обеды: т.к. отдыхающих мало, многие кафешки простаивают, тем не менее хотелось кушать что-то свежее и не бояться отравиться. Кухня есть, но на ней в основном готовили соседи китайцы. Так же встал вопрос покупки продуктов, т.к. в супермаркетах ассортимент уже, другие продукты, многое продается в придорожных магазинах и лавках. Не хотелось много времени тратить на готовку. Решили попробовать заказать обед у хозяев. Обеды не уступали завтракам. Салат, первое, второе на выбор, десерт и свежий чай покорили нас. В итоге все 10 дней обедали у них. Каждый день оговаривали время и блюда чего бы хотелось: местная кухня или больше европейская, остро / не остро, рыба/морепродукты/курица. Каждый день все было супер вкусным и свежим. Муж аллергик и я беременная были в восторге, никогда ничего не болело и все усваивалось. В итоге обходились завтраками, обедами и чаем на полдник. В конце отдыха нам принесли квитанцию за все обеды, чай и фрукты которые были заказаны по нашей просьбе. 6. В последний день Морин подарила нам местную выпечку в качестве подарка, которую мы почти съели за 2 дня. В целом виллой и отдыхом остались довольны. Луки и Морин действительно надежные люди которые всегда были готовы помочь. Они очень дорожат своей репутацией и многие к ним возвращаются! Хочется пожелать им удачи!!

Очень хорошее место. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. Комнаты большие, есть свой красивый сад, где бегают бурундуки. Хозяйка очень добрая и милая женщина. Недалеко стоит храм, оттуда идёт молитва в 5 утра (молятся, чтоб прошёл коронавирус), иногда просыпались от него, но спать не мешало.

The accommodation was as described and shown in the pictures, which we appreaciated. The staff was the sweetest, always happy to help! We liked the breakfasts and our room with a nice view. The place is not located directly by any beach but there was a possibility to take a boat to a pool and a beach (free of charge). We got help with airport transfer as well. The only thing was that the WiFi worked exclusively in lobby and restaurant area, no chance for connection in the room. Otherwise highly recommended, thank you!

Beautiful! Better than expected and such a wonderful family.

Wir legen jedem Sri Lanka Reisenden einen Aufenthalt in Sankas Villa ans Herz. Wir haben dort die letzte knappe Woche unserer Reise verbracht, um dort auszuspannen und den Stationen unserer Rundreise nachzusinnen. Dafür eignet sich kaum eine andere Unterkunft so sehr wie Sankarest. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Jedes des Zimmer hat vor der Eingangstür eine zusätzliche beschattete Veranda. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und sorgsam gepflegt, ebenso die Poolanlage. Aber die familiäre, freundliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich unglaublich wohlfühlt, ist das klare Highlight. Die gesamte Familie und die anderen helfenden Hände sind überaus hilfsbereit und immer offen und ansprechbar, wenn es um Ausflugstipps und jegliche andere Anliegen geht. Das Essen wird mit sehr viel Liebe gekocht. Der Strand liegt nur zwei Minuten von der Villa entfernt, eignet sich dort direkt aber nicht zum Schwimmen, aber 300 m weiter kann man wunderbar schwimmen. Auf nach Kosgoda!

Super Guest House in Beruwala, alles sehr geschmackvoll im singhalesischen Stil, besonders die tolle Gartenanlage sticht hervor. Direkt am Strand gelegen, wir konnten jeden Tag am Strand unsere Mahlzeiten genießen. Total freundliches Personal, sehr leckere, hochwertige und authentische Küche. Sehr empfehlenswert!

I was in Bentota for a wedding and stayed with Lex two nights. Lex's place is well worth the price. I felt Lex and his wife really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable: they offered me tea when I arrived, they provided breakfast both mornings, and they even loaned me an adapter when I discovered I didn't have the right one (Sri Lanka has Type D and Type G plugs). My request was last minute and they were so responsive and eager to help. The AC worked perfectly and the room was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. It was very quiet at night with truly beautiful vistas during the day. You can walk to the beach and train station and post office easily from here; plus, there's an Ayurvedic massage center just around the corner. If you're looking to stay a while in Bentota, I highly recommend Lex's place.
