Lovely peaceful beautiful location by a river. It was like a mini totally private hotel with friendly helpful staff and a cook you can hire who will cook whatever you want. Beautifully, tastefully and interestingly furnished, some gorgeous big books to look through, 2 little boats and you can order a masseur to come to the house at very reasonably prices -it was so relaxing to have an ayuverdic massage by the river. Plus a super pool for a swim any time. It is slightly inland but for us that did not matter at all as we weren't looking for a beach stay. We all enjoyed our far too short stay and will definitely be recommending this villa and booking again next time we are in SL.

Superbe logement. Propre. belles installations. Correspond a la description. Proche d'un supermarché et de restaurants. a 40 min du centre de Colombo. Proche de la route et d'une école hymne national le matin. wifi plutôt bon. L'hôte est très reactif et le gardien sur place très gentil. La salle de sport et la piscine est très agréable ainsi que la douche exterieure. Parfait pour notre séjour de 2 nuits en famille.

We have just returned after our second stay at the villa,it is still as peaceful as ever,we thoroughly enjoyed the visiting wildlife.Domica and her family who look after the villa and gardens are very friendly and helpful and do an exceptional job .Kintoo the owner is easy to contact and replies very quickly to any communications The villa is as per description as others have stated,it is very well equipped. It is excellent value . We are in the process of arranging our next visit that is how much we love the villa and the surrounding area. Thank you Kintoo for allowing us to stay at your villa

Wir durften jetzt zum 3. Mal diese wunderschöne Villa geniessen. Dazu gehört die ausgezeichnete Küche. Der Koch, Nileme, erfüllte all unsere Wünsche und hat selber tolle Vorschläge gemacht und umgesetzt. Er übertrifft die Küchen der grossen Häuser vor Ort bei Weitem. Lucky und akmal waren die guten Geister im Hause und erfüllten all unsere Wünsche. Dank dem Gärtner war die Anlage zu jeder Zeit eine Augenweide. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Henry and everyone at Villa 80 was extremely lovely and welcoming. The place is a great find, really good location, amazing pool, the list goes on and on. We were visiting for a friend's wedding and was so glad Henry could accommodate us. Would highly recommend and return. Thank you Henry!

Our stay at Villa 171 in Aluthgama was nothing short of amazing. The property is a lovely retreat with all the amenities you could wish for and impeccably maintained. What truly made our visit unforgettable, however, was the warmth and generosity of our hosts. Shashika was not only incredibly helpful but also inspired us with his fascinating travel stories. Even more special was his brother, Babi—a genuine gem. From lending us a scooty and guiding us through mangrove trips and snorkeling adventures to assisting us in picking out thoughtful gifts for our families, Babi went above and beyond, making us feel like part of the family. We left Sri Lanka with hearts full of gratitude and fond memories, and we’re already planning our next visit just to reconnect with these wonderful hosts and experience the magic of Villa 171 again. Back in India, we miss you both dearly—please come visit us, and let us have the honor of hosting you next time!

The place is quiet, convenient and offers an amazing outdoor space - the decent size pool is clean and well-lit in the evenings, there's a great pool house you can chill in/by, and you can literally take walks around the yard, it's that big. It's also an amazing opportunity to observe some of the local wildlife from the comfort of your sunbed or the patio - we saw a number of colourful birds, monkeys, squirrels, and komodos. The breakfast was generous and VERY tasty, and a great opportunity to try some local food (e.g., sambol, chicken curry, lentil/dhal curry, rotti) alongside your standard Western breakfast options. The villa caretakers are the sweetest people - attentive, kind, and ready to help with absolutely anything and everything! They looked after us and made sure we had a great time at the villa. For us, that made a massive difference, and if we're ever back in Colombo, we would be returning to the Temple Pond Villa.

First of all, I want to thank the wonderful landlady Gayani, she did everything to change our stay in Sri Lanka. Very sensitive, kind and caring landlady, we felt at home. One of the best apartments we have visited, an incredibly beautiful place, panoramic windows, the view from the window will delight you every day, birds singing, a great pool and a gym. In real life, the apartments look exactly like in the photos. A little far from the main attractions, but if you love comfort and silence, then these apartments are ideal! We will definitely come again, thank you.
