What a fabulous place. The villa is beautifully designed, spacious and so comfortable. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The location didn't bother us as there are some wonderful family run restaurants close by and it is very residential, but you will need tuk tuks to get into town. The staff were wonderfully attentive, and always around so think of this more as a staffed guest house than a private villa.

Le logement de Sylvie à Galle est tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons passé une semaine magique dans ce petit coin de paradis. Le cadre est exceptionnel, avec un jardin luxuriant qui invite à la détente et à l’émerveillement. La vie sauvage qui entoure le lieu est fascinante : nous avons eu la chance d’observer une multitude d’animaux, des oiseaux colorés aux singes, en passant par des écureuils et même quelques varans. Chaque matin, le chant des oiseaux nous réveillait, ajoutant une touche encore plus spéciale à notre séjour. Sylvie a créé un endroit unique où la nature est reine, et cela rend l’expérience absolument inoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement à tous les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Dès le portail, on est subjugué par la beauté des lieux. Je confirme la véracité des autres commentaires laissés par les précédents voyageurs. J'ajoute qu'en plus de toutes les qualités de cette villa, JC a pris le soin de prévoir notre arrivée pour que tout corresponde à notre attente. Des boissons, des fruits ont été achetés à notre demande (avec justifs à rembourser bien entendu). Ainsi, nous n'avons eu qu'à profiter. L'équipe de la Maison est aussi une des raisons de notre recommendation pour cette villa . Nous 6 adultes, restont encore émus par cette paranthèse qui ressemble au PAradis sur terre. De plus, en 30 mn à pied en traversant la campagne, nous arrivons sur les plages de Talpe où des petits beach clubs nous accueillent pour un bon moment à la plage et contempler les tortues dans leur milieu sans touristes pour les traumatiser. bref que du bonheur. Je reviendrai si je passe par Galle et sa région. encore merci JC.

Overall stay was great! Rooms were very clean with good air conditioning, and clean towels for both shower and pool! One thing to keep in mind is that the seating area and kitchen are outdoor which I didn’t know when booking but it turned out to be good chilling by the nature around! The property is very peaceful with lots of greenery. Valentina was also very responsive and a great host. Can definitely recommend!

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s place! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was truly unmatched—offering free breakfast every morning, offering to deliver our dinner, and even offered complimentary tuk tuk rides around the area. The home itself is beautiful—spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed with lovely touches throughout. You can really tell how much care they put into everything they do. Bianca and Dasun were not just hosts, they felt like friends by the end of our stay. We can't recommend this place enough, and would absolutely stay here again!

SeDi villa is a very special place to stay. The villa itself is beautiful, with such a lush backdrop. The bedrooms are very large, each with an impressive en-suite. The indoor-outdoor living is peaceful and helps you connect with the nature around you. We have been surprisingly unaffected by mosquitoes. The pool and garden have been enjoyed by all of us. Amila and his family are what has made our stay extra special. They have been very kind and helped us have a meaningful stay, giving us many Sri Lankan experiences.

The photos don’t do it justice. This place exceeded my expectations which rarely happens After a few days of unwinding you start to really appreciate the design of the house and how it feels like you’re living in harmony with nature- the animals (monkeys/ dogs/ birds) are so close to you it’s actually quite magical. The privacy is also amazing and the staff are what really make this place exceptional. Both Sunethra and Chathuranga are so helpful, kind and genuinely warm and welcoming that you feel like you’re at home. Our party are all animal lovers and Chloe the dog was a wonderful bonus- always there but keeps her distance, never barks and makes you feel like she’s looking out for you. This place has families returning and we can see why- we will be one of them!! Location is excellent, just a short Tuk Tuk ride to the beaches and restaurants- but Sunethra’a cooking is actually the best food we had there so definitely get a few dinners booked with her for authentic Sri Lankan

Such a great place to stay when visiting Hikkaduwa. The location is great right on the beach with easy access to local spots and frequent tuk tuks around if you want to go further afield. The house staff were so so friendly and helpful and went over and above to make us welcome. The food they prepared was delicious and they all tried hard to play with my 4 year old boy, he loved them all. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

Hello all travelers. If you are looking for well-being, comfort, peace and entertainment literally just a few steps away, don't hesitate and come here. Breakfast with a view of the wild ocean, where you can have a great time and forget all your worries. The villa offers all food at any time, but you can buy food about 50 meters away in the market and leave it to the wonderful host and his team, who will arrange literally everything you ask for. So an ideal choice for a group of friends. It is a little more expensive, but if it can be taken that way because everything here is at prices that are still more than good. If you are planning a trip, the prices are very similar everywhere and here they will arrange any trip you can think of at prices like anywhere else in the area. If you are traveling with a backpack, go somewhere else here, it is associated with better quality and I recommend taking the whole place so that you have privacy, which I think is the most important thing th

Chris's villa felt like a home from home for our short stay, he and his team at the villa were amazing and so attentive to our party. Roshan is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. The BBQ that he organised for us next to the beach one evening was unbelievable, especially the whole butter fish and prawns. The villa is ideally situated in Unawatuna but we were also close enough to nip to Weligama on tuk-tuks to try surfing, and up to Galle for shopping and dining. Chris's team were more than happy to promptly assist with organising tuk tuks and van hire for us whenever we needed them. The pool at the villa was perfect for our kids to splash about in during the afternoons as it was shaded by then. They also loved finding hermit crabs at the beach and spotting chipmunks, geckos and even a monkey on the villa roof one morning. We would thoroughly recommend Chris's villa to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Hope to be back soon!

The villa was immaculate and felt so homely as soon as I arrive, my family then arrived and 2am and the villa manager stayed awake to greet them. Jerome and his wife were beyond hospitable and the team cooking and cleaning the same. The food is exceptional and exceeded expectations. The villa is situated a few steps above the beautiful, what felt like our very own private beach. Erg mooi en fijn verblijf en kwam helemaal overeen met de foto’s. We kwamen iets eerder aan en ze waren alles helemaal aan het schoonmaken. We mochten de spullen ergens neerzetten zodat we nog even wat konden eten. Host reageer snel en fijne communicatie.

L’hôtel a ouvert il y a deux mois. C’est fait avec beaucoup de goût. Ça ressemble aux photos. Le lit est très confortable. J’ai apprécié la petite piscine qui est restée fraîche malgré la chaleur. Ça faisait beaucoup de bien de s’y trempé. Un soir il y a eu une coupure de courant sur toute la ville. Heureusement l’hôtel dispose d’un générateur et le confort est resté au top. C’est un endroit calme. Pas de bruit de fétards. On est au bord d’une rivière et à trois minutes à pied de la plage. 👍🏻 Je dois signaler qu’il y a cependant une route d’un côté et de l’autre les chemins de fer. Mais personnellement cela ne m’a absolument pas dérangée. Merci à Kasun qui a été très professionnel et sympathique.🙏 Je retournerai sans hésiter et je recommande ce lieu. 🤗

Where can I start…. We stayed at this beautiful villa for three nights and by far the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. Villas is very spacious and clean. Alfresco area and the pool is very thoughtfully designed. Well maintained garden with beautiful surroundings. Most of all the hospitality that we received from Ananda, Noni and Nayana’s took it to a next level. We had home cooked Sri Lankan meals all three days and specially the Christmas Day lunch was superb. We made great memories and met awesome people at the coconut grove villa which we will never forget… Also thank you to Roshan ( tuk tuk driver) and Lesley was very responsive all the way!

We loved our stay at Telo! The villa was beautiful and the perfect little haven to come back to in between exploring Ahangama and its surrounding areas. It was exactly as described in the photos. It’s a little bit away from the main area of ahangama which we really loved as it meant it was nice and peaceful at night. We rented a scooter to get around and would highly recommend. The team onsite were super helpful in organising everything for us too! We’ll hopefully be back! :)

we loved our stay here, Nidesh was responsive and flexible. The pool was amazing and it was cleaned every morning. great location, just a tuktuk away from the beach

We loved our 10day stay at Dimuthu, Ahangama. The apartment is beautifully clean and has everything you need. Kitchen is perfect if you like to self cater. Big comfy beds and large bedrooms with a/c. Pool is great and gets afternoon shade. There is a groundsman / security guard onsite 24/7, they are super nice. Location wise it is a 10min walk to Kabalana beach, and in the opposite direction a 15min walk to the shops. We suggest taking the back roads through the village, a bit further but so much more peaceful than the main road. The best thing is the neighbours have tuktuks and will give you a good price to get anywhere, we also organised tours and transport with them. We rate Hungry Monkey to eat at which is a 3 min walk. Value for money is fantastic. We can’t fault this place and will definitely be back!

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

We were 2 couples travelling together. Sashike & his beautiful wife welcomed us. Fabulous villa walking distance to some lovely restaurants. We got a Tuk Tuk to turtle beach in Talpe around 5 mins away - get there just after 9am to feed these gorgeous creatures. Would highly recommend staying here!
