Wow what a lovely, tranquil and scenic place this was, from the lovely rooms but more so the sunsets, the animals roaming around, makes the place stand out. my family enjoyed every bit of the accommodation and it's ample provisions and activities close by, so convenient. Lovely place!

My challenge in writing this review will be to keep it succinct. I have too many positive things to say. In short, our experience exceeded our expectations. Our multigenerational group of 3 adults and 2 children (ages 7 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed the unique opportunity to experience the relaxation that comes with living in a wild natural setting, alongside the thrill of unconfined close animal encounters. We felt safe, welcomed, and cared for and never intruded upon. Communication was excellent and the accommodations were comfortable and lovely. The hosts went out of their way, in my opinion, to assist with our transfer arrangements from Johannesburg. I was able to modify my original plan, using their suggestions, to arrive at a more affordable and predictable route from the airport to the lodge. We found Staffan to be a very intuitive host and loved his stories and reflections about his lived experience in South Africa. 10/10 recommend.

Such a great cottage. It was super neat and clean when we got there and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We had no trouble communicating. The location is perfect and peaceful and was about 15min to the Kruger Park, which was the reason for our stay. There are a bit of wildlife roaming around and they love vegetables if you would like to feed them. We could easily operate once checked-in with remotes for all the necessary gates. This place is highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

We stayed over at Silke's place for 2 nights. The check-in was a breeze which really helped after a very long day of traveling. The house was clean and our experience overall was lovely. Would highly recommend Silke's place to anyone traveling to the Kruger.

**10/10! Beveel STERK aan** Ons verblyf was eenvoudig fantasties. Die plek is pragtig – uiters netjies, skoon en goed onderhou. Dit het ALLES wat jy kan nodig kry – tot in die kleinste detail is daar aan alles gedink. Dit is een van die mooiste plekke waar ’n mens kan bly – rustig, stil, privaat – regtig ’n juweel van ’n bestemming. Charl, baie dankie vir jou hartlike vriendelikheid en opregte gasvryheid. Jy het ons laat tuis voel vanaf die oomblik wat ons opgedaag het. Ons wens ons kon langer bly – een aand was beslis nie genoeg nie! Ons kan nie wag om terug te kom nie. Tot volgende keer!

If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in, there are plenty of places to go. But if you a seeking a truly amazing experience in a wonderfully creative architectural environment then the salt cave cottage is definitely something you should try to book. I was there for a week and never left. It was exactly the kind of break I was looking for!

calme et paisible avec à proximité beaucoup de restaurants et Spar. la pièce de vie est un peu petite et le salon n'est accessible que par l'extérieur donc pas utilisé mais le cottage avec le chauffage et les couvertures chauffantes nous ont permis de passer un bon séjour. merci à Lydia pour sa gentillesse

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje van Emile en Lorraine. Het is een zeer comfortabel huisje: comfortabel bed, fijn linnengoed, snel internet en ook nog een wasmachine-droger. De buitendouche is niet echt buiten maar in een bijgebouwtje. Het huisje is intiem gelegen in een mooie tuin.
