Pranav’s place was really awesome and I enjoyed my stay there. Pranav and his on campus team was very helpful and highly responsive. Pranav will help you with all good things around there. The location was awesome and scenic. Only 2 things that I feel need to be improved. 1) The toilet seat in the washroom was very old and worn out and not comfortable. 2) If some provision of WiFi and Room heater would have been there then that would have made me happy. Overall my experience was awesome and I’ll surely visit there again.

I have been to a lot of Airbnbs & this was easily one of the most unusual ones. Reading the reviews I got to know there is some history associated with the place. Apparently,someone from a royal Nepal family relocated here way back in 1931 & spent the rest of his years at this place until his death in 1993. Our room didn't capture much of this history though,except for a booklet written in 1942. However,the dining room was full of stuff from the 20th century. We found a well maintained visitor book there. The place has been having visitors since over 60 years! Located in a village in Katapathar & about 400 m from Yamuna river,the property is an interesting relic of the past. It's great for someone looking to spend time away from the city. Though both of us felt that TV/free wi-fi can be provided. The caretakers were great & the food was fabulous. We had a good time at the place.

This was my 4th visit. Great place and host. This will remain my go to place in DDN.

Perfect for a Relaxing Short Trip, away but not far from the hustle of the Mussoorie Main Area. Clean, Comfortable and Warm Rooms. Spacious and Good Outside space. Polite and Helpful staff. Best Quality of Food. Although me and my kid are afraid of dogs but we didn’t felt like when the pets were around. Friendly communication with the Owner of the property. What else one need for a perfect staycation. Would definitely like to stay again. Cheers to the team.

It's a cute wooden cottage and u can sit beside riverside and chill. It was a peaceful & happy new year for us

Easily Accessible by car and bike both. Situated in a very peaceful surrounding with a wonderful view from the room. Checkin was really smooth and the housekeeping and owner is very friendly and helpful. Chef offers daily new special menu and the food is tasty plus you can get food ordered from the menu as well. It's easy on the pockets. Room is exactly the same as posted on the portal and the cleanliness is top notch. Directions to reach the place is exactly mentioned and can be followed very easily. Wifi is available with good strength plus the cellular connectivity is good. Housekeeping even helped us with moving our luggage to cab as it's a bit of climb. Running hot water and electricity is never a challenge. A perfect 5/5 for this place and looking forward for future visits.

Our stay at Dopaar by the Brook was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and warm hospitality. The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, ideal for families, friends, or solo travelers escaping city life. The room was clean and spacious, with wooden ceilings and walls adding charm. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful dining spaces, and delicious food made our stay delightful. The brook added a soothing soundtrack, and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing. Special thanks to our host Nikhil, who was incredibly responsive. He promptly arranged an affordable vehicle for us from Dehradun to Chakrata. Kudos to Niresh for picking us up, showing us around, and sharing fascinating stories about the places we visited. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and safe retreat. A request to all tourists: Please be responsible and do not litter with plastic waste. Respect nature and the local community.

It was a good experience staying at The Hosteller. The staff was responsive and took good care of me. The food at the on-site cafe was also good, with plenty of options. While I stayed in a private room, I would say it’s an ideal place to stay if you’re coming with a group, like college friends.

It's an amazing place, very well done interiors with a private garden and beautiful view of the mountains from the room and garden. The place has a well maintained huge garden with colourful flowers. our pet Rudra had a great time playing around. The food was good. Pankaj was a communicative host, who took care of all our needs and made sure we had a pleasant stay. The surroundings are beautiful to take a walk into the forest and enjoy the nature. I recommend the place.

Great location, away from the noise of the city. Strategically located for a quick trip to Dehradun city and midway to Mussoorie. The caretaker Gaurav was very helpful. The owners' pets which were in the property at the time of my stay were a delight. Would recommend this place to someone who wants to get away from this city, loves nature, wants to wake up to an amazing sunrise and sunset. In the evenings the room gets direct sunlight which is perfect for winters.
