The Vintage Vista was a charming and unique home with modern and updated amenities. The master en-suite is spectacular and has a private sitting room and I imagine it is Heavenly in the summer! The porch has a glittery view of downtown and the Kanawha River. The home is nestled on the side of a mountain and is surrounded by other unique homes - no cookie cutters here! The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well appointed and allowed for us to make dinner at the end of our busy days exploring the area. Carl is a wonderful host with lightning fast response times and a kind soul. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place Carl!

We stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. This was the absolute perfect place to stay while visiting the area. The location is serene, the house was very cozy and well equipped. They thought of everything. Literally felt like home away from home….except in the woods….and quiet…and extremely relaxing…….did I mention serene? We loved it. 5 Stars and definitely recommend!

This houseboat getaway was absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend! The boat itself is lovely and surprisingly well-equipped. While we didn't cook, having a grill, refrigerator, and indoor/outdoor TVs was a nice touch. We spent most of our time enjoying the peace and quiet, taking in the incredible view of the Capitol building. Sitting outside in the morning and evening was truly the highlight of our trip. David was a fantastic host! He provided clear and detailed instructions for accessing the boat, which was very helpful. He also sent a welcoming message and responded quickly to any questions we had. The only slight challenge was parking. The designated spot is located on a sharp corner, which can be tricky to navigate. I'm glad I opted for a car instead of my motorcycle as parking on the grass can be unpredictable. Just be sure to park far enough off the road to avoid any issues. This is now my favorite place to stay when I go to Charleston. It’s a little hidden gem and I absolutely love it. Everything was immaculate. The decorations of all the bears were super cute. It had the perfect feel that I was looking for of comfort and peace. Seriously, it’s a great place to stay

This is a superb place to stay! If you are debating between a hotel and this air bnb, book this place. You won't be disappointed. For starters, it was spotlessly clean. Way cleaner than almost any other place we've ever stayed. Billinda is an excellent host. We felt like we were staying with family instead of a stranger. The home is very close to the Charleston convention center and also Charleston Town Center. Very convenient location. Ideal for lots of situations-business travelers, girls getaway, stopover on a longer trip, or like us as a family needing a place for a peaceful and restful getaway. Billinda is very welcoming to children. There are fun family games and kid-friendly antiques. Plus so much more room than a hotel. The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep. She also has plenty of extra blankets for each bed. It seemed like she had thought of every detail to help us feel welcome and comfortable. If in the area again, we would totally stay here again. Highly recommend!

The location was great for the guys for their dirt bike trails in Tornado, but the State and National parks for sight seeing and hiking were 1-2 hours away.

Margaret's place was great. loved the river view, quiet neighborhood. close to restaraunts and centt4ally located between Huntington and Charleston. Margaret was great. house was stocked and she recommended some great local spots.

Staying at this home was awesome. Everything was nice neat and clean. He responded quickly and was very helpful throughout the stay.
