This houseboat getaway was absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend! The boat itself is lovely and surprisingly well-equipped. While we didn't cook, having a grill, refrigerator, and indoor/outdoor TVs was a nice touch. We spent most of our time enjoying the peace and quiet, taking in the incredible view of the Capitol building. Sitting outside in the morning and evening was truly the highlight of our trip. David was a fantastic host! He provided clear and detailed instructions for accessing the boat, which was very helpful. He also sent a welcoming message and responded quickly to any questions we had. The only slight challenge was parking. The designated spot is located on a sharp corner, which can be tricky to navigate. I'm glad I opted for a car instead of my motorcycle as parking on the grass can be unpredictable. Just be sure to park far enough off the road to avoid any issues. Suann’s place is simply charming. You can feel the love and care as soon as you cross the threshold. The pictures actually do not do justice to how cozy and welcoming it is. Suann was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had. She left us snacks, chocolates, coffee pods, candles, and plenty of essentials that most hosts do not. The neighborhood was quiet, with the occasional train, which we loved. The location is close to beautiful hiking trails with a gorgeous view of the river. Thank you Suann - we felt right at home!

Angela and her husband John were so sweet and hospitable. They made sure the room was clean and ready to go for us when we got there. They showed us the space and also made sure to take my partners food allergy into consideration when they made breakfast. The farm house was cozy and quiet and very much worth the price. We would love to stay with them again any time!

We had a wonderful stay at this place with my wife and our dog. The front yard was fantastic—a great space for our dog to play while we enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee and relaxing evenings with wine. The view of the lake and mountains was breathtaking, making the whole experience even more special. It does get a bit windy in the afternoon, but it wasn’t an issue at all, just part of the charm of the location. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely come back!

We stayed at Rihanna's place for a few months. She is very responsive to any needs and never hesitates to take necessary measures right away. It was a pleasure staying there. Also, the location is excellent, with all the major establishments and downtown just a couple of minutes' drive away.

Cute apartment! I stayed there in the winter, but the proximity to the river would be great in warm weather. I appreciated having access to extra towels. The corner shower may be challenging for people with a big frame.

Susie’s house was amazing. It was beautiful and clean. The beds were all comfortable. The patio overlooking the river was amazing. Would definitely recommend! The hosts were also very responsive and we felt very safe.
