Kandy : locations de vacances en chambre d'hôtes

Prabath is super nice. He even took us to nuwa eliya bus station. The breakfast is tasty, fresh fruit. The best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. The location is in the center, easy to access to sacred tooth temple, lake and restaurants. Burger in Licensed is good! We just stayed one night, we should stay another night to have a rest.

Wir zu Viert im vierer Zimmer für, ja genau, vier Nächte. Alles vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out passte. Charaka ist ein super freundlicher Host. Er gibt einem gerne Tips und weiss viel über das Land so wie über den Buddhismus. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber sowie das Badezimmer. Schöne Terrasse und man hat die Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen. Die Lange ist etwas ausserhalb c.a. 300rp mit dem TukTuk in die Stadt. Oder 20rp mit dem Bus. Das Vierer Zimmer ist ein bisschen klein für Vier Personen. Aber nicht unbewohnbar. :) Würden auf jedenfall wieder ins 2in1 gehen wenn wir wieder in Kandy sind.

The Officers Mess is a superb find, with fascinating history. It's been transformed into to a light, modern, space with a great eye for interior design. Sat on the veranda, the view outside is idealic, and the dogs frisking around on the lawn are adorable. Andrew is an amazing host, and left us feeling like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, we ate some of the most delicious food we've had so far in Sri Lanka, and left feeling more knowledgeable about this beautiful country, wishing we could stay at the Officers Mess a while longer. One of the best host i have come across. The hospitality was superb. The food served was awesome. She helped us plan our itinerary and gave us very useful tips.

We really enjoyed our stay at Natanananda's homestay in Kandy. From the moment we arrived he was very welcoming and helpful. He made us tea and biscuits once we settled into our room and spoke to us about our plans and what he thought was the best things to see whilst in Kandy. The breakfasts were very nice and filling, and he always took the time to make sure everything was fine and even to tell us a little bit about the history of Kandy, it's temples and religion. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and it was very nice to come back to a perfectly clean place. Both he and his wife really went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend anyone to stay here whilst in Kandy!!!

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen neben dem Krankenhaus, der Mann der uns empfangen hat und sich um alles gekümmert hat war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer sieht aus wie auf den Fotos und entspricht der Beschreibung. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Vielen Dank.

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Arjuna and Zane made our stay so comfortable and restful, always willing to talk about the surrounds, tea plantation and beautiful gardens, but also hands-off enough that we felt relaxed. We intended to do some hiking but the weather meant options were limited, but that just meant spending more time in gorgeous surroundings learning about local plants and their uses, hanging out with their 4 brilliant and ultra friendly dogs, and eating lovely local dishes. A small village is just 15 mins walk away, which has some shops for essentials and lunch items. If you’re after a beautiful, restful place for a short break then I really couldn’t recommend Tranquility enough. It was an absolute treat and brilliant value for money.

Our stay was great from the first moment until the end. We felt very welcomed by the the lovely host familiy, who cared a lot for us and gave us good advices for Nuwara Eliya. The house is very modern, the rooms are nice and clean. The Location is great, since you have stunning view over the town from above. The breakfast was always delicous. They also arranged our transport to the Airport, which was a fantastic help and a cheaper option than it would have been from a driver conpany. Thank you so much!!!

very nice place. looked exactly like the pictures. sunrise view from our balcony was awesome (not sure if sunrise can be seen from other rooms) caretaker Chaminda was exceptional. very polite and very helpful. must experience stay in nuwara eliya

Great ecxperience! The room was cozy and allowed us to see an awesome sunset laying on the bed. Loved the fresh juice in the morning! Everything clean, super recommended :)

Es war einfach ein Traum! So eine tolle Unterkunft haben wir echt nicht erwartet. Es ist viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Champ hat so viel Liebe in die Details dieser Unterkunft gesteckt. Alles sauber! Und danke für das tolle Frühstück an die Eltern, es war köstlich und reichlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in der Unterkunft und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Räume waren sehr sauber und Jayanta war ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Er hat uns viele Empfehlungen für Kandy gegeben. Die Stadt war Fußläufig in 15 Minuten über Treppen zu erreichen und in der Nähe gab es viele tolle Bars sowie Restaurants. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily
