The Summit House was incredible—beautiful views, super clean, and felt really welcoming. It had everything we needed and just the right cozy vibe for a relaxing weekend. We loved how quiet it was, but still an easy drive to trails and good food. Definitely one of our favorite Airbnb stays—we’d come back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at Sam’s place. Island Beach is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet and private, but close enough to Penneshaw and activities to keep us amused. Authenticity Beachhouse was so well situated, with great sea views, and had heaps of space and amenities perfect for our family of four…with an extra room to spare. Sam has thought of everything, and we loved all of the little extras he provided that helped make our holiday more fun - boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and tent, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus the Hamptons style decor was so lovely. Thanks for a really lovely stay Sam. Our kids have already asked when we are coming back to visit again!

A lovely stay in a homely and comfortable accommodation. The fresh bread and condiments was a lovely touch. Even met a courageous echidna. A terrific place to base yourselves for island exploration. Thank you Christine!

Lots of the previous reviews speak about the very pleasant accomodation and the outstanding cliff-top views - which we fully endorse too. It's just great! What we'd like to add (it was important for us) is the tranquility of the place, with nothing to disturb the absolute sense of peace, quiet and privacy - other than the local birdlife! What a gem! This cute Victorian cottage is modern and comfortable inside. We loved the location as Brownlow is close to the Kingscote shops and restaurants yet on a quiet typical inner beach; weedy but great for dog walking. Lovely hosts, Sabine and Kevin. Thanks.

Fantastic views and lots of space to spend out with multi generational family. Accessible beach and pier for fishing - we caught our dinner one night. Fun to watch the 3 resident Koalas in trees across the street and local kangaroos in surrounding yards.

My husand and i stayed here for 6 days and ended up eloping at the accommodation site! It is truly beautiful and there are plently of fish to catch at the beach. Our location host tony was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable! We plan to make this our anniverasy spot! 10/10 the place is perfect for two looking to imerse themseves in the island with almost panoramic views from the bed and an almost private beach, this is your spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Azzurra with its beautiful views and well appointed accommodation. The house is very well equipped and has everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay with added touches which afford a home from home experience. Liz was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us with Ferry bookings. Would highly recommend.

Magical end of the earth location. Brand new home, very well stocked and well set up for cooking and bar-b-que. Loved seeing the wallabies at the food bowl at sunset. Had the special treat of a koala stopping by! Stunning sunrises. Warren is excellent communicator with great recommendations. Looking forward to returning some day!

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

We loved every minute of our stay. A lovely , comfortable and well equipped home - great beds and lots of extra bedding and towels. A very easy space to live in. The WOW factor is the outside deck area and the view. Just amazing. It was hard to tear ourselves away to explore KI. From the deck we saw dolphins every day, sea lions, kestrel, pelicans, eagles ,kangaroos and lots of bird life. We stayed for two weeks but could easily have stayed a month.

We had a lovely stay at Christine’s place. The house is in a gorgeous location with ocean views and was recently updated and sparkling clean. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking a few meals during our stay. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Our experience at Shylies was outstanding, and we are already looking forward to our next visit, which is a reflection of the high quality of the accommodation. Located in close proximity to the ferry port, the property is easily accessible, and upon arrival, we were impressed by the peaceful and secluded surroundings. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a bottle of wine, observing the local wildlife, and even spotting a few kangaroos. The property is exceptionally well-appointed and maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the bed linen was of exceptional quality. A highlight of our stay was the stunning private beach, accessible via a short walk from the property, which we enjoyed visiting every evening. We would like to thank Kate and Andy for accommodating us at short notice, and we look forward to returning soon.

French couple visiting Kangaroo Island for the first time. Emily is a premium host, she’s very reactive and the beach house is super clean and well decorated. The view from the living room and master bedroom is stunning. You’ll be able to spot from the beach house : kangaroos, wallabies, dolphins, galah cockatoos, cormorants etc. We even saw a seal !! U can go for a swim in front of the house but we recommend the Stokes Bay beach (paradise beach) 10min by walk from the house. The beach house is well-located (in the middle of the island so u ll be mid-distance from everything) but be careful to go to the supermarket at your arrival in Cape Jervis (port) because there are none other supermarkets around the beach house. Nearest real supermarket is in Kingscote (40min by car). We’ll enjoy coming back and having seafront bbqs !! Thx for all

What an incredible getaway at Gabi and Jim’s accommodation! This place was worth every single penny and my group had the most wonderful stay. It felt luxurious from the first moment we pulled up to the property. The photos do not do this location justice. The house was spacious, it had every single possible amenity we could need, the kitchen was big, the bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was fabulous to relax in. The pool was a winner though, heated, an incredible view at sunset, watching kangaroos hop by. We really couldn’t have stayed at a better place, it was such a lovely treat. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend, it won’t be forgotten and I would absolutely stay again.

A property and host that delivered everything and more. The location is fantastic, Rachel can not be more helpful and went over and above to ensure my wife had a great birthday. We can not say Thankyou enough. Kangaroo Island was a fantastic few days away if nature, sightseeing, food and wine, gin & beer. Only hard part was leaving.

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.

Firstly the view on arrival was breathtaking, the property was amazing and the beach was pristine. We’ve stayed in beachside homes across Oz, US, WI, Mexico and Italy and this was outstanding. From the start to the end, Georgina and Rachel were there to help when needed. Knowing now they are foodies/chefs I would order their dinners the next time. And there will be a next time. 😄PS we even had a seal frolicking at the beach as we left

Was a BEAUTIFUL Airbnb, my parents were visiting from London and were blown away by the kangaroos every morning, the empty beach felt like we had our own private access and it’s at a good location, making the commute all around the island approximately 1 hour in any direction.

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

Our family group of 15 - grandparents, children and grandchildren had the most delightful time in this spacious, beautifully appointed and presented, conjoined houses overlooking Snellings Beach. We had the space to relax without feeling like we were on top of each other. We couldn't fault the place. Melanie, our host was responsive to our queries and pointed us in the direction of great places and activities to pursue. She was very generous in providing essentials in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Thank you, Melanie. We will be recommending Middle Beach House to our friends and look forward to our next visit.
