Thank you for letting us stay in your home Ian. The place was exactly what we needed, very short walk to the beach. We ate in most nights so I was very appreciative of the high quality appliances - so refreshing to have a stove and oven that work perfectly. Everything was great - our only recommendation for improvement would be to pop a pair of rubber gloves under the sink to make washing up a bit smoother.

We had a fantastic stay at Jane’s place! The accommodation was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our group of seven. The highlight was the serene view over American River, which we enjoyed from the long balcony, making our evenings truly special. The peaceful surroundings added to the relaxing experience. Plus, the table tennis was a fun bonus! Overall, a lovely stay, thank you for hosting us. 😊

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and ensured that all facilities and amenities were provided, making the stay comfortable and hassle-free. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and easily accessible. The fact that it's pet-friendly was a huge plus! The location is fantastic—convenient, secure, and in a great neighborhood. This was a great place to stay. In Vivonne Bay, it is near Flinders Chase National Park, Seal Bay etc and has its own lovely walk-to beach. Has excellent facilities and is very comfortable with pleasant surroundings. We loved that a 10 amp power point had been installed next to the car parking so we could charge our EV overnight in 12 to 16 hours. (Bring your own cable). Getting to a public charger would have been quite difficult.

We had a lovely time in Cape Jervis. The house, location and view are great. It is the ideal location for a day trip to Kangaroo Island, the ferry terminal is only minutes away so that it is easy to catch the earliest and latest ferries of the day. One thing to remember is that Cape Jervis itself is only a small village and Victor Harbor where all the restaurants and tourism offers are, is about 45 minutes-drive away. The absolute highlight are the kangaroos assembling across the road in the early morning and evening.

Amazing stay, super quiet house in the middle of a farm, yet with modern amenities. Great for families with books and toys available for our two young kids. Tons of space, and the kids were very excited to watch the farm animals graze. The welcome gift of fresh bread and wine was an awesome touch. Nighttime stargazing was incredible as there's not another light for miles (as long as you don't trigger the driveway motion-sensing floodlight 🙂) Weather was good while we were there so the A/C only being in the master bedroom wasn't an issue; opening the front and back doors got a healthy breeze through the whole house. It did get a bit chilly overnight but the two space heaters provided did a good job for us (not sure what happens if you're using all four bedrooms, though). Note that we did see quite a few ants in the house, so you need to clean up well after each meal. But you should probably expect some bugs in a house of this age as the sealing won't be perfect.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is super comfortable and has an amazing view. Loved sitting on the deck watching the pelicans fly over!

Magical end of the earth location. Brand new home, very well stocked and well set up for cooking and bar-b-que. Loved seeing the wallabies at the food bowl at sunset. Had the special treat of a koala stopping by! Stunning sunrises. Warren is excellent communicator with great recommendations. Looking forward to returning some day!

The tranquility of the location is wonderful. Waking up to the sounds of nature, and wildlife surrounding 'Honey Eaters', gives you a sense of calm and peace. It's a great place to return to after a day's adventures around the island, particularly towards the South-West end. We would highly recommend Honey Eaters hideaway and hopefully will return in the near future.
