My family and I loved this place sooo much, the photos didn’t really do justice about the place. The manor is sooo much better than the photos. We felt right at home, it had everything that we needed. Margot recommended some places which we visited during our stay and the kids loved it, especially the park near the dam. Margot is a very responsive host, we had to extend our stay since the kids wanted to enjoy a bit more of the place. This area is very quiet and peaceful. Would love to come back here on our next stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

i booked this little cottage for my daughters birthday. My daughter stated it was a beautiful location and so relaxing. The outside baths were a highlight. Close to shops and restaurants. Zoe went to the extra effort for my daughters birthday with banner, balloons and chocolate. Would definitely stay here again and didn't want to leave. Great communication throughout the entire booking ,thanks Zoe :)

This place is amazing - I’ve never stayed anywhere with a view like it. Sunrise over the cliffs is a highlight! Malina and Adrian are wonderful hosts and the cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. Close to all the amenities in Blackheath and walking in the surrounding area.

Photos of the cottage do not do it justice (even though photos were beautiful)! Prue & Matthieu provided a very well-curated cottage, with very considerate and well-thought out luxury touches throughout. Loved all the Dinosaur Designs in the cottage! The pizza kit and pizza oven was a wonderful activity to include in the cottage and the outdoor bath was handy during our stay as it was warm weather. The record player completed the ambiance of the warm and inviting cottage (we might have picked up a new hobby). Cleanliness was top-notch and plenty of amenities included. Prue and Matthieu were very attentive and remained in contact with us from the beginning to end of our stay. Their recommendations for dining and activities around the area were all great. One of our top Airbnb stays ~ would highly, highly recommend a stay at Montpierre Cottage!

Beautifully, cosy home with plenty of space and leafy outlook

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

One of our favorite Airbnb’s. Excellent kitchen set-up and very nice beds. Great collection of books and LP’s to enjoy. If you like Asian fusion, try Miss Lillian’s about 100 meters from the front door. Conservation Hut and Tempus were other favorites nearby. Covered parking and a short walk to Three Sisters which you can enjoy early morning and late afternoon/ evening without the crowds.

We loved our stay here. It was super comfortable and spacious which was great for our kids. The place came with lots of games and toys which our kids loved playing with. The yard was lovely, our kids loved exploring it. The house was spotless, beds very comfortable, and it is all new. Would love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tansy Cottage which has been beautifully renovated whilst still retaining it's original character. The location was good and only a couple of minutes drive to Blackheath village shops, major walking tracks and tourist sites. The cottage was very comfortable and toasty warm with the underfloor heating coming in handy when the weather turned cool and wet. It was easy to sit back and relax. A nice touch with a welcoming bottle of wine and a good selection of teas and coffee provided. Jack and Vanessa provided a good instruction book and locals guide of things to do. I'd certainly recommend Tansy Cottage as a place to stay in the mountains.
