A serene Retreat Amidst Nature’s Embrace..!! My recent stay at this charming cottage was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, the cottage offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the picturesque view of the river right in front of the room.The water was not only refreshing but also perfectly complemented the surrounding nature's ambiance. Moreover, I was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable arrangement and coordination of the property. From the cozy interiors of the cottage to the well-maintained surroundings, every aspect of the property exuded warmth and hospitality. My stay at this beautiful cottage was truly amazing, thanks to its idyllic location, refreshing riverfront experience, and impeccable property arrangement. Stayed for couple of days with a bunch of friends. The entire property is beautiful and has lovely surroundings. Highly walkable and one can explore Kookal on foot. The food was quite homely and delicious. The caretaker ensured that all are needs were met.

Wonderful place! Enjoyed the vintage house along with the surroundings. My family felt at home. The kitchen is clean and has enough utensils. The caretaker is always available. Vielen Dank für die schöne Unterkunft. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Die Unterkunft liegt jedoch ca. 30km von Munnar entfernt. Wer es jedoch ruhig mag und die Natur liebt wird in dieser stilvollen Unterkunft jedoch voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Und die Eltern von Diya zaubern gegen ein kleines Entgelt die wunderbarsten indischen Gerichte :)

The place is amazing. Melbin is a very good host, very friendly and treats guests like family. He helped us with the itinerary and cab for the trip around Munnar. The stay was amazing, zero hassles. About the place: The road which leads to the stay from the main road is a bit narrow. But Melbin himself arrived and took us in his car to directly to the stay. The place, the architecture, the plan, the accessories and service is all great. The view, nature, surroundings is nothing less than exceptional. Thank you Melbin for making the stay memorable

A Stay to Remember! Our experience at this Airbnb in Idukki was nothing short of magical. The view was absolutely mesmerizing—clouds literally touched our faces! We just couldn’t get enough of the scenery; from sunrise to sunset, the place offered breathtaking views of the lake and hills right from the property’s own viewpoint. The caretaker was incredibly sweet and so cooperative, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A big shoutout to the owner too, who connected us with a local driver—such a gem of a person! He took us to some stunning hidden spots and made our trip even more special. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a warm local touch, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up
