Stayed for couple of days with a bunch of friends. The entire property is beautiful and has lovely surroundings. Highly walkable and one can explore Kookal on foot. The food was quite homely and delicious. The caretaker ensured that all are needs were met.

We had a fantastic time during our stay in Munnar. This was our first trip to Munnar, and Asish and his team made it an effortless and enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived in Munnar, Asish’s team took care of everything. They picked us up from Madurai, organized sightseeing tours, planned activities, and even arranged for our return to Madurai. Our driver, Vijay, was an absolute gem. He drove us from Munnar to Madurai and back, making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable journey. Vijay was not only a skilled driver but also a knowledgeable guide. He took us to breathtaking locations and recommended exciting activities to do in Munnar. His flexibility and attentiveness made our trip a breeze. We also had a thrilling off-road jeep safari on the mountains with Nithin. It was an incredible and adventurous experience that we will cherish forever. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa! The property itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. What truly set this experience apart was the care and hospitality of the caretaker. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering help whenever we had questions and making us feel right at home. Their warmth and attentiveness added such a personal touch to our stay, making it even more special. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free vacation. This place oozes charm—like a Pinterest board come to life. And the WiFi? Fast enough for Netflix, no buffering. Surrounded by tea plantations and forests, it’s seriously off the grid. Sholayar Dam is just a short walk away, and those evening walks? Unreal. No crowds, just epic views. But the real MVP? The food. Madan and his team? These guys were legit chefs. Like, trained and everything. We're talking South Indian, North Indian, even Italian! Every meal was a three-course affair – starters, mains, desserts – the whole shebang. One hiccup: March heat made the room toasty, but ACs are coming soon. So, future peeps, you're in luck. Service? Next level. We asked for mosquito repellent—Madan got it, even though there were no mosquitoes! Needed coconut oil? Sorted. Wildlife bonus: A troop of lion-tailed macaques and a giant Indian squirrel right outside. They also took us on a 4-5 km plantation walk at sunset. 10/10, would return.

This place by the Offbeat crew is exactly as described. The location is the best, there are a few amazing spots around the property such as a natural pool with amazing lighting at night, an incredible balcony perfect for bird watching all times of day and a few stargazing spots at night. The host is more than happy to sort out lunch and dinner as well as planning lovely offbeat days out such as trekking through the jungle or going to secluded waterfalls, completely alone. It really feels like the surroundings are all yours!
