This isn’t you ordinary Jailhouse! We had an extremely peaceful stay at Mark’s place! The rooms were squeaky clean and the bed was comfortable! We were treated snacks, drinks and a tasty continental breakfast. What an exceptional experience!

Every time I have had the opportunity to stay at The Guest House it has been a wonderful experience. The host is easy to get a hold of by way of text and responds to your questions very quickly. The location of the home is perfect for an inviting stay in a small town. It has a warm feel to it and provides amenities to make your stay enjoyable. It is within a city block of a restaurant and Casey’s. I will definitely return to this “home” when I need to stay in the area again.

Jason’s place was the perfect peaceful oasis after each day at our Master Gardener convention. We enjoyed the decor and decorations, and we appreciated the snacks and coffee. Wish we had had time to stay a few more days!

This spot is a perfect place to feel right at home on the farm. Pulling into the property with huge trees lining both sides of the driveway with a picturesque shot of the Big Red Barn was perfect. The host gave all the instructions needed for the easiest process of checking in, getting acquainted with all the amenities offered, and offering a peaceful stay at the property. I highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had such a nice and relaxing time spent with family and this place was perfect for us. We loved seeing the deer outside. The beds were comfortable, shower was nice, and the kitchen and living room were perfect. We even enjoyed sitting outside on the patio.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights while visiting family and loved this cottage. We slept well in the cozy loft and walked to town every day - Lawrence has sidewalks lining every street and little parks so it's an ambler's dream. Convenient, clean, wonderful hosts, well-stocked bookshelves, and nice morning light. Thanks again!

Naomi was incredibly helpful with finding things to do for our first time in Kansas City for the AFC Championship game. I had lots of questions and she was very professional and helpful in all of them.

Enjoyed the serenity of this country house, yet very accessible to everything that's great about Kansas City. There was a huge common area -- living room with fireplace, and amazing kitchen. Great deck out back for enjoying nature. Highly recommend this property!
