This is my third time (I guess) to stay at Gwen’s place. This place just feels like a home. The rooms looks exactly the same as in photos. Nice colors of bed sheets. The room was clean and well decorated. Although I could not see moon guitar, I guess someone was playing it in the house the day we checked in 😊. Bathroom was quite clean. Also there is a table tanie room and we enjoyed playing it. Gwen is very good host. She gave clear instructions for check in. She very promptly replied to all my messages. Location wise this guest house is very close to the bus stop, just 1-2 min by walk. The place is in central area of Hengchun where you will find lots of food options around. Renting bike and go around, even to the Kenting is quite easy. Overall this place is very good for family, couples or single travelers to stay, enjoy your vacation, explore nearby areas. I will highly recommend it.

Suitable for group or solo traveller. Less than 5 mins walking distance from formosa boulevard train station. Spacious kitchen at 6th floor. Great place to stay. I will definitely stay at this place if i come back to kaohsiung!

I had a very nice time here. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the building had an interesting history and was quite impressive. Gwen was friendly and responsive, replying to texts immediately. This is in a great area of Hengchun, near lots of restaurants and old streets. If you plan to check in on Sunday, arrive as early as possible to avoid extreme congestion on the narrow streets due to setup for the weekly night market.

편안한 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다! 틈틈이 귀여운 고양이와 강아지를 볼 수 있었고, 호스트와의 대화도 즐거웠습니다. 위치와 숙소 상태도 아주 좋아서 다음에도 이용하고 싶습니다

My second time staying at Pipe. I took the top floor, rooms here are private with en-suite bathroom. Bring your own towel, although the small one provided was perfectly adequate. Thank you. I will most likely visit again.

Gwen's place was an absolute delight. The history of the place is wonderful and there are artifacts present throughout. This was a surgeon's private mansion where he performed his work and it reflects. The house is clean as clean as a hospital should be, which highly impressed me. The kitchen was fully functional and clean. The rooms were squeaky clean and well maintained. Everything worked and it worked well. Even the showers were real showers with showerheads separate from sink faucets, which is not common to find in Taiwan. There was plenty of space to relax and even a place to hang your wet clothes after washing. The bed could have been a bit softer though. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was superb, it was directly beside the HouYi MRT Station making it very accessible to different places. Check-in was smooth and the place in general was very clean.

over all a great stay!host was really attentive and kind. the station was just across the place. it was near convenience stores and retaurants and bus stops! but we just thought that there will be towels provided though.

輕鬆入住，上下鋪四人床型的上床鋪的窗邊有個小縫隙，東西會掉下去，東西不能放床邊有點可惜。

美麗島駅、六号夜市どちらともすぐ近くで行きやすかったです。またアメニティや食材などの品揃えも素晴らしく、長期滞在にもピッタリ。またぜひ滞在したいと思います！

作為三天兩夜在地旅行的據點，我認為是適切的，房間周遭隱僻且寧靜，很適合放空及放鬆，同時房間提供了許多在地旅遊的參考資訊，使得旅客以探訪當地特色，就像居民一樣的生活。

Friendly and attentive front desk service. A guestbook filled with unique entries from diverse guests, full of life. A charming front desk staff who speaks Mandarin, English, Taiwanese, and Japanese, and a cute colleague who carries an A-frame ladder. Absolutely amazing! Great location, has elevator! I had 2 large suitcases, so it was important there’s elevators. Enough room for one person with luggage, may be small if you have more than one person. Sixth floor has food, washing machine and place to hang dry. Worked out well.
