Excellent location! Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and bbq area! A great place to view the spectacular sunsets! The unit is comfortable and the views do not disappoint! The bed is comfy, and there were plenty of bath towels. The beach around the corner is the perfect place to start your day with a long leisurely walk!

Great stay for a week of R&R in Kihei in March 2025. Good location in North Kihei with a west view of the water. Good value for the price. Not many walkable restaurants nearby but only a 5-10 minute drive into Kihei for a bigger selection of restaurants. Was a great home-base for our visit. Would recommend to others looking for a non-resort style vacation in Maui! Worked really well.

We had a wonderful time at Lucy and Alan’s condo. The location is perfect - right on the beach. It is so peaceful and tranquil. It’s only a short walk down the beach to the bakery, the ABC store, shave ice place and farmer’s market stall for fresh fruit and smoothies. The complex also has a sandwich store on premises and an activity center we used to rent snorkel gear and book a luau. The pool and hot tub area was great to use after a day of exploring the island. The location is perfect - you can go north to Kaanapali, or south to Wailea both are about 20/30 minutes away. The condo had everything we needed and the central air conditioning was perfect when the days were warmer. There was nothing like hearing the waves crash and watching the canoes float by while eating breakfast every morning. I’m going to think about this trip for a long time. Lucy and Alan’s place made the trip perfect for us. Highly recommend this location for your Maui adventure. We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed our time at Viktoria's condo at Sugar Beach Resort! It is recently remodeled, clean, and comfortable! The fact that it is on the ground floor RIGHT in front of Sugar Beach is beautiful! You can walk out and hang out on your private Lanai (patio) and just relax! It is like having your own paradise! The bed was also very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, too. I liked that they offered beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. We used those daily! We also used some of the amenities in the kitchen, which was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no complaints!

Perfect distance to the beach and other amenities, room fit 2 comfortably, kitchen was great making it an easy stay. Condos were beautifully landscaped and held amazing views! We had a great access to the private beach and the condo was close to other great beaches! It is located within the lush area of Wailea, very close to Kihei, where there are plenty of things to do! We loved every minute of our trip and our stay was problem free. Thank you!!

We loved our stay at this place. The location in Kapalua and the beautiful grounds were unbeatable. There were just a few hiccups initially but they were resolved within 24 hours. Firstly the AC was not working which was hard with 2 young kids and the warm climate. The company was going to send a tech but he wouldn't be in until the next day so luckily my husband was able to fix it in the meantime. Secondly, we had ordered and paid for a pack and play which was supposed to be in the unit on arrival but did not arrive until 9 pm (already after my child needed to go to sleep). I was told this would be refunded by the lovely manager Scott who came to deliver the pack and play. He was also kind enough to lend us his binoculars for whale watching :) The unit itself is beautiful. Very new and clean and exactly as the photos. We would 100% rebook if staying back in Kapalua, Maui.

We stayed in two units at Hololani. This one was my fav. More spacious. Wonderful lanai. Unit is comfortable and we felt at home. Made some great dinners and enjoyed the view. This is a neighborhood condo not the high end resort. Pool amazing. 90 degrees! We loved our stay! Note units are Not air conditioned. Fans adequate. A couple of big box fans would have gone a long way to making us more comfortable.

Had an amazing time. Loved the view of the ocean and the sound of the waves. Made it my morning routine. Definitely want to come back.

Beautiful condo in Kihei with every possible amenity to make you feel right at home. Private and peaceful with a pool, beach access. Perfect for getting around to snorkeling which was nearby. Access to stores too. Great place from which to visit Haleakala as well!

We had a fantastic and memorable stay at Doug's place in Kihei. You can't beat the location--right in Kihei yet set back down a private road and right on the beach. The views out of the windows are amazing, and within a short walk your feet are in the sand, at the ocean's edge where turtles are peaking their cute little heads out consistently. We even encountered a turtle lounging on the beach! The house is stocked with the basics: plates, cups, coffee maker, toaster, nice towels, etc. The beds are comfortable and with the windows open and the fans on, the island breeze keeps the house very comfortable. Doug also has beach chairs and an umbrella for easy lounging. Highly recommend Doug's place!

No detail is forgotten! This is the best accessorized and appointed home away from home we have ever experienced. It is a great location, and we like the Lanai that rolls out onto the lawn. We love the short 1/2 block walk to the beach. it is wonderful to have air conditioning and fans. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking activity and we especially appreciate it that snacks and coffee were waiting for us. We loved the gift of chocolate covered macadamias. We appreciate the superlative attention to detail and the efficient accessibility of the hosts. Mahalo Ashley and Mike!!

This was a fantastic place to spend our week in Maui. The condo was amazing and spacious with all the amenities you would need to enjoy your time. The location is perfect, relatively close to the airport and well situated next to route 30 so you could go everywhere on the island quite easily. The view from the condo is second to none, from the patio you can easily see the Haleakalā mountain and from the front door is a great sight of the western Maui mountains. And on top of everything this condo was much more peaceful than the huge resort areas. There were not too many people around, and even when we did go to the beach we were able to find a spot easily. I’d recommend this condo for anyone who wants to spend a week or a few days in Maui - the price is quite good compared to the normal resorts, you get a great view and anything you don’t pick up on your way from the airport you can grab on a 20 minute drive to Kihei. This place was perfect for us.

This is really well situated. A hundred feet from the back door and you are on the beach. Wake to the sounds of the birds from the adjacent wildlife refuge. It's intimate, with only four rental units in the building. No big hotels in the area, so the beach is uncrowded, and has basking sea turtles! Beautiful sunsets. They could have had 5 units, but kindly equipped the middle unit as a common room where departing guests leave food, drinks, and supplies like sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Free snorkeling and beach supplies, bikes with lights/locks/helmets, boogie and paddleboards, an ocean kayak, TONS of movies, books, and CDs. Our unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything except a dishwasher and a full-size oven (there is big high quality toaster oven). Note the toilet/shower area is open at the top. Gary and his team communicated clearly for entry and exit but otherwise left us alone unless we had a question. Would definitely stay again.

The location was GREAT - close to many activities/places and the ocean-front was consistently beautiful! We saw turtles swimming and beached every day and a few whales blowing from afar every morning. We traveled with 2 kids (age 11 & 9) and a grandpa in his 70's. Air conditioning was not a problem - there were many fans provided and the ocean breeze was perfect. I truly appreciated the beach supplies (beach towels, sand toys, chairs, large umbrellas, 2 boogie boards, cooler, and extra snorkel items), a fully stocked kitchen, and a generous supply of everyday items (soap, toilet paper, etc) that some AirBnBs don't normally supply enough of. I would have preferred the bathrooms and balcony to be slightly cleaner, but definitely not a deal breaker. Advance notice about the elevator not working would have been appreciated (thankfully we were physically able to climb 4 floors of stairs multiple times a day, and with large luggage). Overall, would recommend to others!

The balcony was my favorite place on the island. The only thing that didn’t make this 100% was not having A/C. My advice is to stay busy and out of the condo during the day. It wasn’t too hot once the sun went down, but it was very hot after lunch-sunset. It was very spacious for my family of 5. The master suite’s light didn’t work and the fan was stuck on low. The vent fan in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work, so it got really stuffy when taking a shower. They do have 3 fans to use: one tower, 2 desk tops. Kitchen is fully stocked, & snorkels, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler, & 4 beach chairs (do not recline) were available. No need to pay for a snorkeling excursion to snorkel with turtles. We saw a ton from the balcony & snorkeled. There is access to ocean but not a sandy beach area. Tiny area at condo next door but high tide takes it away pretty early. Short walk to a sandy beach. Being on the west side, was peaceful but a good drive to different places. Debbie is really sweet!

The building, at the north end of Sugar beach, in Kihei, right on the water, was in a beautiful location to experience daily gorgeous sunsets and the clean sandy beach. The grounds which featured a pool, barbecues, chairs and lounge chairs were well trimmed. The apartment was nicely furnished, filled with all amenities (coolers, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, sunglasses, hats, sunblock, aloe vera lotion...) needed for a great stay at the beach. The elevators were clean and functional, and there were carts to facilitate transfer of luggage from the parking lot to our apartment. The owner had developed a very detailed guide that helped us operate the various pieces of equipment in the apartment. In addition, she was very responsive to various questions we had on check-in. There was also a local representative who proved helpful when a very rare power failure caused some issues. In summary, this is a wonderful place I strongly recommend to relax and enjoy the beautiful Maui weather

A great, little condo! We loved being able to see the ocean all the time, it has everything you need (except kleenex). We would definitely stay again!

Great location and unmatched views!

Loved the condo. After a fairly active few days it was nice to just relax in a home very conducive to chilling with an amazing view of the ocean with turtles constantly swimming by and the occasional whale breaching on the horizon. Didn't see the pool, so can't comment on that, but it was great to be able to walk downstairs, jump into the ocean for a swim or snorkel on the reef. Also, a few restaurants and other food places within walking distance. Would stay again!

This was a pretty great place to stay, in addition to having access to the resorts pools and restaurants, the room provided us with snorkel gear, beach chairs, coolers, and even some board games! The kitchen was also stocked with all the utensils you would need, there’s stuff for grilling, cooking, and even plastic plates and bowls to take outside if you need them.

This was the second time that we have stayed in this condo building and this unit was much nicer than the unit we rented the first time. Upon arrival the place was fantastic with one small exception - the shower in primary bathroom wasn't as clean as we felt it should have been. I reached out to Matthew about it and it was addressed the very same day! We also appreciated all the small extras that were included that make your stay so much easier - garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. We would easily recommend this unit!
