We had a lovely 4 night stay. The hosts have exquisite taste, the furniture and styling is unique, and makes this property feel like a home, and not some generic airbnb. The outdoor area is obviously a highlight, the pool got a lot of use, the kids absolutely loved it. Also the sauna was a real treat too. The indoor/outdoor flow was great, and created a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The playground was just across the road, and the beach a 5 min walk. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be keen to return.

Our group all enjoyed the location and house. The two grandchildren had a safe area to play and explore. We had an excellent house to relax in with plenty of space and ease of use. All indicated an interest in potential future bookings for family groups.

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. Great place to have a family get together. Very clean and comfortable and really nice furnishings and touches such as the toiletries and books for grandchildren. Kitchen was very well equipped to make meals for the 8 of us, and loved the outdoor dining. The hot tub was a hit as was the fire pit, and it was an easy walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your fabulous holiday home.

Gorgeous little cottage with well thought out spaces and beautiful decor. The outside areas were even better than the photos. Everything felt comfortable and lush.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, I worried about the lack of air conditioning booking in summer however with the windows/door placements it wasn't an issue at all. The bath booking over the beach and bifold windows were my absolute favourite part of the stay. The beds were super comfortable. The house is really big with heaps of space and everything was perfect. I booked this for a wee get away to rest and recharge and it was absolutely perfect.

We had a wonderful week at Tess's place. It's a fantastic home for a family with kids - ours loved the back garden, the rabbits and the chickens, and the playhouse provided hours of entertainment and the house was perfect for spreading out on the rainy days. It is beautifully decorated, homely and was well-equipped with everything we needed for our time in Raumati, as well as being just across the road from the beach. A perfect place for a summer break!

A great stay at Corbans place. Everything was as expected and the view is wonderful. Corban is excellent to communicate with. Beds were super comfy with quality linen sheets and bedding. Kitchen is well equipped. The only minor suggestion would be with the fabulous huge deck this place offers, a couple of comfy lounge style outdoor sofas or chairs would be the finishing touch to sit back in. There is however an outdoor table by the BBQ. Would definitely recommend to a couple or 2 couples to get away from it all.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. The house is spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Sarah was a very responsive, attentive and friendly host! We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa, and playing frisbee on the massive grounds. The views are magical. The house is only a short drive/walk from vineyards and easy drive to Masterton. Would happily stay here again, cannot recommend it enough!

We honestly can't rate this place highly enough, it was a stunning location which felt a million miles from anywhere, but was so accessable to all the local amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer! Bradley very kindly let us have a late check out so we could soak up the peace and tranquility that little bit longer! The property is done beautifully, and has everything you need including games, books, a walk on the property, the spa, and we didn't even notice the lack of WiFi, we were too busy switching off and enjoying the place! Perfect break away and will definitely be back!

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

Really lovely stay, and a very responsive host who was brilliantly accommodating to our needs (with portacot arranged, and flexibility around our check out when we realised baby would be napping at 10am!). Thanks so much :)

Ths was one of the best places I have stayed. The cleanliness was next level and all the extras supplied with fresh home made bread and other goodies in the fridge.... Our privacy was absolutely respected even though their home was not far away. I would definitely come here again whenever I want some time out. Very well done to these hosts.!!!

This place is incredible! My partner and I stayed at Natalia's to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was the perfect place for it, such a cozy and romantic place. The whole experience was incredible and flawless, every little detail. I highly recommend it!

This was my second time staying here. I love coming here when I’m in the Wairarapa. It’s peaceful and quiet and the scenery in the evenings is amazing! Bed is comfortable and the shower is huge. The fireplace is awesome in winter too!
