Great house in a beautiful location. Excellent amenities, beautiful design, perfect for travelling with pups. A few notes: - The # of steps up to the unit might be underestimated by a factor of ~5. Not recommended unless you're reasonably fit. - The bedroom doors don't latch. There are hook-style locks provided....on the outside of the door. Not a huge deal, just means you need to shove something under the door if you want to keep the dogs from nosing their way in. - The water from the tap gets _really_ hot. This is great for some things (shaving) and less great for others (shower, dishwashing) Overall an excellent spot!

Lovely house in the heart of Petone. I have stayed in Petone a few times before and this was my first Airbnb and will stay again if I visit. It’s right in between the foreshore and the Jackson Street restaurants. Easy walk to Petone station which is only a 15 minute ride to Wellington plus the train also goes to Upper/ Lower Hutt which was easy to see my friends who live there or have them down for dinner in Jackson Street.

Very clean, lovely home. Great communication.

We had a great stay here. The house is lovely and has great views over the water. We had our own car and access to all parts of Wellington was easy. We’re quite a bit fitter for the walk up the stairs each day, but the cable car access is great also.

We had such a cozy stay at this lovely Airbnb! Jonathan and Naomi were really accommodating and helpful after we reached out last-minute to see if we could stay at their place due to another booking falling through. They got back to us promptly, allowed us to check in early, and later granted us a later check out time for a very reasonable fee. The place felt like home — comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to spend a few days in Wellington and we were genuinely sorry to leave! As a bonus, Seatoun is a beautiful suburb with a charming little village and a great waterfront for jogging / walking on nice days. Would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I loved this place! Hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in and that is saying a lot. We took the bus to go downtown which was easy and inexpensive. We walked in the native gardens right next to the property. We walked to the grocery. Even though we had a car we never needed it. The porch was our favorite place and we sat and watched the birds. So peaceful and seemed worlds away from the city. Highly recommend this beautiful home and grounds.

Lovely apartment with gorgeous view of the city and bay from the 14th floor. Sam helpful and responsive. Great place to explore Wellington. Close to everything and a lift in the hotel next door to take you down to the Quays and not have to climb up and down the hills. I highly recommend. Francine

Brilliant place to stay for the 2 of us, very large apartment, with everything we needed. Beautiful court yard too plus comfortable beds. We also appreciated clear instructions, often missing in Air BnBs and ground coffee! Jackie was extremely helpful, even lending us Snapper cards for the bus so we could get a discounted fare, which we then replenished. Loved the location in Island Bay,being near to shops and easy to get into heart of Wellington using the bus but equally a short walk to the beach.

We had a great stay. Lovely apartment and great location. Sally was available and responded quickly to any questions we had. Lovely Wellington weather helped too!

We loved our stay here, views are incredible over the cook straight, ferries and planes coming and going all the time, very steep driveway but room at the top to turn around, felt modern, clean and cosy. We would definitely stay again.

A five-star location indeed! We didn't have a car but being based right on the Terrace meant we could walk to most attractions. Laurice was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in which was really helpful. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. There was a grocery so the in walking distance, we went to the golf course daily and it was accessible by walking or taking a bus, and we could even walk to downtown if we were energetic. It was extreme quiet at night and we were able to enjoy peaceful evenings and could even sit outside or leave our door open to stay cool and it was very peaceful. There was a typical amount of noise having an upstairs neighbour but this didn’t bother us at all.

Our stay in Adam&Judiths apartment was wonderful! Beautiful house, very central yet quiet. Easy to walk everywhere. stunning view from the kitchen . Can highly recommend to stay here :-)

This was by far one of the best airbnbs I've stayed in not just because of the central location of the beautiful house, but primarily because of the awesomeness of the host Brenda. She is extremely accomodating and helpful. She was available whenever I texted. Her house is located centrally and is better than how it is described. It has partial bay view, and is even taller than the nearby hotels. Super convenient paid parking available within the building if requested beforehand. Walkable from Lambton Quay. If this airbnb is available, go ahead and book without any doubt.

Very nice flat at ground level and with a pleasant view into the private yard. We found the bed comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom very well equipped. On a No Exit (dead end) street, so parking on-street is easy. The bus into Wellington CBD is very close, but we decided to walk down the steep hill (2 km). You should be used to walking if you do that because the return uphill is challenging. Our hosts were excellent and supplied everything we needed for breakfast (fruit, milk, cereal, bread, coffee, tea). Wayne even provided expresso drinks.

It was a perfect one night stay in the area we wanted to be in. Wei was very responsive to messages.

Fantastic location! Walkable to Cuba Street and Courtenay Place. The place itself was very clean and homely. We would highly recommend staying here!

Jason clearly has put a lot of consideration into what a guest might need...the apartment was well stocked with cleaning equipment and products for both the dishwasher and washing machine and kitchen/bathroom. The space is well thought out and lots of care has been given to how the place is furnished and presented...right down to the fresh towels and beautifully soft blankets. 5 stars!

easy, efficient check in and out. Super comfy bed. Great location and easy walk around to explore. Worked during our stay and really appreciated the well set out desk with office chair and extra monitor. highly recommend
