We had such a cozy and relaxing girls' weekend at this beautiful cottage! Even with a winter storm rolling through, we stayed in, made the most of the space, and especially loved soaking in the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind. The cottage had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway, and the atmosphere was just what we were hoping for. What really made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, so accommodating, and quick to respond; truly amazing and thoughtful hosts. We felt so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. We’re already talking about coming back in the warmer months to enjoy even more of what this spot has to offer. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

A wonderful escape from the city for any couple or family! Everything you honestly need is right in the cottage. We had a wonderful time just relaxing, cooking together and making great memories spending quality time with each other. The hot tub & fire pit made it extra special, this was my son’s favourite part! We look forward to returning in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful lake views & access!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

We had a phenomenal time at this stunning lakeside retreat. While it looks like a perfect summer getaway—serene, spacious, and incredibly private—its winter beauty is just as remarkable. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. If you’re looking for a peaceful yet memorable escape, this is the place to be.

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

This was a fun, peaceful trailer park resort with amazing amenities and gorgeous surroundings. While the trailer homes were close to each other, the fact that it was a quiet family environment, and that our spot was positioned towards the woods and had just the right window dressings, meant that we still had all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely consider coming back again. Jacqueline's place was a great place to rest up after a fun day.

The perfect place for a weekend get away. The photos dont do it justice. Quiet and peaceful to get away from the city life. The pool was amazing, and everything you could imagine needing was there. Very clean and comfortable. Wish I was there right now.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin on Marble Lake! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake and environment was gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay for adults or families - we'd love to come back another time. A few things you may want to know about staying here that aren't clear from the listing: -shared waterfront access to Marble Lake is beautiful, and great for swimming or boating - canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available -each cabin has a designated fire pit for campfires - BYO wood or purchase on-site for $15/bag. It was awesome to watch the sun set over the lake by the fire. -planning to grill is a good idea - there is just a small 2-burner hotplate inside the cabin. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one for $40/day or $80/whole trip. -you may also want to bring toilet paper - 2 rolls were provided but guests are responsible for refills -Bon Echo Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive away, and a must-see in my opinion. We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

Really a great place to be . So clean, beautiful and spacious. I’m a young guy but this place had me thinking how I will be in my 70’s chilling with my fam . Crazy man . And the bed … idk about that one. Fam I slept like a baby . Woke up full of energy . My friends asked me if i had too much coffee. It was just the bed man . Oh don’t forget to go by the water . You’ll love it . Big thanks to the host . Will be back for sure.

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

This was a very cozy and comfortable cottage, surrounded by lots of nature and a nice body of water. I rented this place out with friends, and we spent the weekend playing board games, spending time outside, and just overall pressing pause on life and it's stressors. It was a much-needed type of weekend for us all, and Andrew's cottage gave us the option to do exactly that. Lovely place, and the host is very helpful with all instructions and communications. Very easy to reach and very friendly. All these factors contributed to a magnificent weekend, and Andrey's availability and ease of reach made things that much better.

I recently stayed at Peng's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a serene ambiance that made our stay incredibly relaxing. What truly stood out was Peng's hospitality. We had a last-minute change in our guest list, and Peng was more than accommodating, making the adjustments seamlessly. Moreover, when we encountered a minor issue with a beeping appliance, Peng personally came over to fix it right away, ensuring our comfort was never compromised. I highly recommend staying at Peng's place for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-hosted experience.

My family and I spent Christmas at Michelle’s lovely cottage and we had a great time! The cottage itself is very nice and cozy; in person, it looks even better than in pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub is a must as it has an amazing view of the lake; and we also enjoyed a little walk around with snowshoes available at the cottage. The host, Michelle, was very kind and responsive. She had the cottage decorated for Christmas, which was perfect for our gathering and created a very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely consider going back during summer as the place has many in-the-house amenities and private access to the lake. Thank you, Michelle, for hosting us!

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!

Le séjour s’est extrêmement bien déroulé. Attention toutefois à bien programmer son GPS à l’avance pour ne pas se retrouver perdu sur la route, sans réseau ! D’ailleurs, les hôtes vous le feront savoir et vous recommanderont de faire vos emplettes avant de venir, car c’est littéralement « perdu » avec les premières villes à 30mn de route. C’est absolument parfait : loin de tout, calme, au milieu de la nature ! L’observation du ciel étoilé le soir est aisée. La journée, il convient d’écouter le battement des ailes des oiseaux ou le cri d’un animal au loin, au bord du lac. Cet endroit est vraiment reposant, paisible et c’est une sorte de petit paradis perdu dans l’Ontario. Nous avons vraiment adoré ! Et c’était sans compter sur les petites attentions de Kim et Dave : eau fraîche et dégustation des breuvages locaux.
