We would definitely recommend Deb’s and Sharon’s cottage as a place to stay. The location is great, as it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the water, but is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood so it still also offers plenty of privacy. They were wonderful and responsive hosts and checked on us throughout our stay, though we didn’t end up needing a thing. They were gracious enough to allow our dog Bella join for the weekend too, which we appreciated very much as she goes everywhere with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely look to book again if we make our way back to the beautiful island!

We stayed at Lisa’s place for three nights and it was a 10/10 experience. Lisa was a fantastic host and was very helpful with island recommendations prior to our trip. The property itself is stunning and although we wanted to explore the island, the property also provided a beautiful landscape to just relax. Even given its private, peaceful location, it was still so convenient to town. The house is an adorable converted barn that has incredible, rustic charm and the decor was so beautifully thought out. Before we even left we were talking about booking again in the future. We definitely recommend booking here!

Wonderful home. Plenty of space, beautiful kitchen, comfy beds, great tv streaming choices, just a few minutes into town, and about a five minute walk to the water. Could not have asked for more. Also, having a fenced in backyard was great for my dog. Loved the place.

Valentina and Alex’s home was perfect in every way. From how clean and comfortable it was to its location directly across from the beach. They were so accommodating and helpful. If you have a family, a well behaved dog, and are looking for a stress free vacation on the beach this home is for you. Will definitely consider returning.

This cute little carriage house was the perfect weekend getaway spot. Was cozy and clean. Very close to the ocean and was in an adorable neighborhood. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend to my friends.

We loved our stay in this charming cottage! Our family of 4 adults spent Thanksgiving weekend here. It was our first trip to the cape and it did not disappoint! The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Although the dining table was small, we made it work for our Thanksgiving dinner. We did prepare some of the side dishes ahead of our stay, but the kitchen had everything we needed to complete the meal. The location is ideal for exploring the beach (even in the cold) and Captain Parker’s Pup (just down the road) was open and bustling with activity the night before Thanksgiving, so it didn’t feel too “off” season. We had a great stay from start to finish and we can’t wait to come back, but in the summer next time!

We absolutely loved this place! We’ve been coming to the island for years and have seen our fair share of cottages. JP’s place had just jumped up to the top of the list a go-to favorite got future trip. The perfect size and homey feeling - there’s so much to love. To top it off, JP was so easy to communicate with!

We had a wonderful week on the Cape. I was initially concerned as this house is attached to the primary residence. However, the yards are completely separate and private, the owner was not in residence while we were there, and we forgot all about it after check in. The house is just steps to the beach, which also has a playground and swings. Beach chairs and umbrella were included, but be sure to bring your own cooler. The kitchen had all new pans and utensils, everything we could ask for. We did a lot of cooking, although we checked out a few local restaurants including The Skipper chowder house, a quick walk away. We also enjoyed mini golf, the arcade, and go karts at Skull Island which kept my crowd of teenagers happy. We rented kayaks on Bass River which was a great way to tool around the coves and inlets nearby. I spent a great deal of time on the deck with coffee and a book, and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. A lovely, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

Communicative hosts, beautiful location, and exceeded our expectations! Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed for a 3 day take a break and relax visit and Paul and Katie's place was just perfect. It is beyond wonderful in its description and so beautifully maintained. We are so grateful to have found this amazing haven. From soaking in sunshine through all the big windows, playing a board game next to the fire, relaxing in the peace and beauty of the home and walking along the paths down to the water, this amazing gem is already a place we have a place in our hearts for and will look forward to returning.

We stayed in the tree house suite. It had a lovely deck surrounded by trees and a great view of the sky. Craig and Ginny are as friendly a couple you will ever meet--always quick to answer questions and offer some great suggestions, Craig even offered to drop us off at a few places. They were so kind they felt like old friends. The beach is beautiful and a five minute walk away--which is great because they charge 25 bucks to park. So do the easy walk, and Ginny will provide chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Hyannis itself is a great place to walk around with lots of shops and great restaurants. We also took a ferry to Nantucket which was delightful, as well. I would visit them again without question. Go. You won't be disappointed. Michael and Rebecca

Jonathan and Polina were outstanding host. Our family had a great vacation .Thanks for sharing your charming and historic home with us. Our grand kids loved the heated pool, and all the kids toys and books at the house. We felt at home and look forward to coming back in the future.

Me and my family spent the weekend at Poseidon’s Palace and it was a great time. Upon check-in, Alex was very communicative and was able to answer any questions I had. The house was very clean - fresh linens, towels, and wonderful kitchen fully equipped for the whole family. We were very comfortable. The house had lots of room for everyone, with lots to do for all ages. We traveled with 3 kids ages 10 months - 6 years old, and it was so nice to have comfortable rooms for everyone. Of course, the pool was the main attraction of the house. The sauna was definitely an added bonus. Not to mention the incredible beach view. Overall, it was a wonderful house perfect for a staycation with lots of great food options nearby. We loved it! The only thing I’d mention is that the pool area and pool temp were a little cold for some of us - it would have been nice for that area to be a little warmer. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful house with a great host - thanks Alex!

Madison has been an exemplary host, and the house was a great fit for 6 adults and 4 kids aged 4, 3, 1 and below 1. Even though we came for only a few days, I had lots of questions. Madison always responded promptly and helpfully. The host went beyond the call of duty by checking with cleaners when house became available, and facilitating an earlier check-in. That was greatly appreciated by our party. The house layout with bedrooms on two floors was perfect for us, where some kids who wake up real early slept on one floor, and others who wake up later are on another floor. Huge dinner table that could fit us all. Lack of clutter that let the energetic kids move around freely. Three bathrooms conveniently located, one on each floor. The availability of good quality, foldable beach chairs and a beach umbrella were a huge plus. The location of the house is in a quiet neighborhood, where we enjoyed walking, jogging or pushing strollers.

Absolutely loved Elisa’s house in Vineyard Haven. We went for my 30th birthday weekend with some friends and we legitimately could not have had a better time. The house is phenomenal and couldn’t be in a better location. The kitchen is modern, the rooms are spacious, the backyard is perfect for hanging out. The three season room was an awesome place to hang out. I have so so many nice things to say about this house and Elisa’s hospitality. I can’t wait to come back & could not recommend more!

House is in a lovely family-friendly neighborhood just steps from the fishing pond and beach and walking distance to Poppanesset Resort and shops. House is a tidy rancher with spacious, bright kitchen (skylight and huge island with plenty of seating). Shared living area features two sitting areas, dining rolm table, large double fireplace (not used), and roomy deck and yards. Bedrooms are ideal for a family…primary with queen bed (en suite bath) and two secondaries with a pair of twin beds each (shared bath in hall). It’s pricey, but so is the neighborhood and location so close to the shore and amenities!

We loved this cottage for a weekend getaway! It was so close to the water and extremely peaceful- we loved sitting on the porch and going for walks around the village. Justin was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Would love to come back again in the summer!!

We had a great stay at Lisa's. Even in the winter, the view of the lake is precious. We used the house as a base to do things in the area which was perfect. The living area is spacious, cozy and very comfortable to hang out in. The house was clean and well organized. We found everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. Lisa is an excellent communicator, very helpful and makes herself available should you need anything. We had a minor issue with heat in one room, and Lisa went out of her way to help. We highly recommend this house and host!

This is our second time staying at the house over New Year’s Eve. It was wonderful the first time and has been renovated since then. A new Master, oops, primary bedroom on the main floor has been added and the kitchen renovated. There are so many thoughtful things that are part of every room, that I don’t have room to mention them all! The views are spectacular and location perfect. I highly recommend this wonderful house!!
